for this week I already read about tips to success..to face final exam I would like to share what I read with my classmate....

1. Take Risks - Do not be afraid to take risks.. where is the fun in that? If you want something, go for it! Do not try and justify every action you make. Sometimes, all you have to do is to take that big leap! We usually allow ourselves to settle at what is safe and secure and yet we end up wondering at all the “what if’s?” and “what could have been’s?” in life.

2. Make Opportunities - This is more logical than waiting for opportunity to knock on your door - which may or may never come.

3. Have a Plan - Always have a plan.. this is the best way to stay on track with your goals. Set a milestone which will provide as your visual in what you are working for, what you have successfully achieved, and what you need to do better.

4. Stay Motivated - When you’re too busy getting what you want you also exhaust all your energies with it and this becomes critical because this is usually the reason why we lose the battle. Half-way through, we get tired and lose the desire to go on. It is important to stay motivated. Remind yourself with the reasons as to why you are working hard.. read motivational quotes and articles. Assure yourself that every effort exerted will eventually pay-off in the long run.

5. Be Patient - Always remember that attaining goals almost always takes time. Be kind to yourself and the people around you because everything is actually a process in working your way up the ladder each day.

8. Reward yourself - As you surpass every milestone try and treat yourself for a job well done.

7. Do not Stop Learning - You may feel that you have already become an expert in your field when you’ve been working on it for so long. But this shouldn’t be the reason why you should stop learning. Keep innovating! New ideas and new ventures helps keep the fire burning!

8. Learn to Delegate - When you are getting close to your goals you will find out that there are many more things to do than hours in the day. Find someone to help take some of your load so you can focus on things that needs your full attention.

9. Raise your Standards - Always learn to “Step-up!”. Increase your standard and strive for more!

10. Be Thankful - Not only with your accomplishments but also with your trials and your failures. It will keep you humble, which in turn, will help you continue striving for success.

This summary is about Psoriasis .Psoriasis is recurrent skin condition that affects about 2% of the population. In simple terms, it is an acceleration of the skin replacement process. Normally a skin cell matures in 21 to 28 days .However, Psoriatic cells are believed to turn over in two - three days and in such profusion that even live cells reach the surface and accumulate with the dead cells in visible layers. Psoriasis appears as raised red patches of skin covered with silvery scales. It can occur on any part of the body although elbows, knees and the scalp are usual sites. There is often accompanying itching. Psoriasis affects women and men equally. The cause of psoriasis starts with the immune system. T cells, a type of white blood cell, usually protect the body against infection and disease by attacking bacteria and viruses but when we have psoriasis, our T cells mistakenly attack your skin cells instead. Our body then produces other immune system responses, leading to swelling and rapid production of skin cells. Psoriasis tends to run in families and it usually appears between the ages of 10 and 45.

This summary about to learn to use makeup to your greatest.Choosing a makeup should be as simple as choosing an ice-cream flavor once you know what's best for you.We can follow this advice:
1.Use a moisturizing makeup remover that leaves our face feeling clean and soft.

2.Throw foundation away after three months. After a few months, the oils in foundation can go bad and smell rancid, makeup artist in Los Angeles. Powder makeups like blushes and eye shadows last a little longer, but make sure to throw them out after a year.

3.Keep our makeup style fresh and current. A subtle change now and then will keep our look fashionable. If we rather not change our colors completely, change the texture. For example, if love a particular shade of eye shadow, choose the same shade in a sparkly version. The small change will get noticed, but it won't be too dramatic.

4.Foundation.If we're blessed with great skin, use as little foundation as possible. If we do use foundation, choose a sheer liquid foundation instead of a corrective foundation and top it off with a dusting of loose powder. For a bit more coverage, go for a crème-to-powder foundation.

5.Mature skin usually requires a heavier crème foundation a powder finish may actually accentuate lines in our face.

6.Make sure we apply the right amount of foundation to our face. Too much is like pointing a neon sign at our wrinkles. Instead, dip a fine brush or makeup sponge in a lightweight foundation and dab it on skin blotches and brown spots to even them out. Then take a damp sponge and apply foundation to your entire face, making sure to match the color of your neck and blend in well so there's no obvious line at your chin.

7.For instant radiance, mix liquid bronzer with our foundation or moisturizer before applying it to your face.

8.Use a makeup sponge instead of our finger to apply foundation. Dipping our finger into our foundation spreads bacteria, which can cause breakouts. And use a fresh, disposable makeup sponge every day.

This summary make make our Kids Money Managers. When we teach children the basics of money management, they're less likely to become financial burdens when they're older.
1.Balance a Checkbook
Give children a blank checkbook register and create a stack of make-believe checks. Put a monthly total in the register and have them write "checks" whenever they need cash. "Agree that we will audit the checkbook once a month.

2.Control Debt
Many credit card companies will give a prepaid card to teens under 18 if a parent funds the card and is responsible for payments. If we give kids a card, be sure they know the amount we have deposited and that they match receipts against monthly statements before we pay the bill. "Parents whose children get into credit card trouble didn't review their bills or hold them accountable,". "Sloppiness makes you poor."

3.Save Three Ways
Set up three savings boxes -- one for long-term savings (for investing), one for short-term savings (for purchases) and one for charity. With three pools, teens learn there are multiple ways of looking at savings.

This summary is about two cause depression in women by biological factors affecting depression in women .The female body itself may influence the development of depression. That's because hormones and related factors may alter mood through various stages of life.First,puberty.Before girls and boys reach puberty, they share similar rates of depression. It's only after puberty that the gender disparity in depression and related disorders truly becomes pronounced. and because girls typically reach puberty before boys do, they may develop depression earlierfor example, by age 15 girls are almost twice as likely as boys to have developed depression.Because this depression gender gap coincides with puberty and disappears after menopause, some researchers believe that hormonal factors increase a woman's risk of developing depression. On the other hand, puberty is also often associated with other changes that could play a role in depression, such as emerging sexuality and identity issues, parental conflicts and evolving social expectations. These psychosocial factors could interact with hormonal changes during puberty and result in an increased risk of depression.Second pregnancy, dramatic hormonal changes that occur during pregnancy, along with life, work and relationship changes, affect mood and in some cases may trigger depression during pregnancy. Other factors that can increase the risk of depression during pregnancy include previous episodes of depression or PMDD, marital strife, insufficient social support and ambivalence about being pregnant. Other issues surrounding pregnancy can also lead to depression, such as infertility, miscarriage or an unwanted pregnancy.

This summary is about make our skin naturally glow Like any part of our internal body, our skin can be healthy or ill. It can be well nourished or malnourished. It can be exercised, and it can wear down with age or abuse. In particular, as we age, our skin becomes thinner and drier. While we can't control our age, we can control numerous other factors that accelerate this aging process, including excessive exposure to sunlight, loss of estrogen during menopause, poor dietary habits, stress, and cigarette smoking. Unlike the other organs of our body, we can apply medicines, moisturizers, and other healthy potions directly to the skin. For that reason alone, there is absolutely no reason we can't have healthy, attractive skin throughout our life. To keep our skin and face young and healthy, and to maintain its natural, protective moisture, these tips. Can helpFirst, Check the dryness of your skin by scratching a small area on our arm or leg with our fingernail. If it leaves a white mark, our skin is indeed dry and needs both moisture and exfoliation (that is, removal of the outermost layer of dead skin cells). Second, treat our neck and chest like an extension of our face. Our neck and upper chest area is covered by very sensitive skin, making it a prime spot for telltale signs of aging such as dryness, sun spots, and wrinkles. To keep this area youthful, use facial cleansing creams that hydrate and cleanse gently rather than deodorant soaps, which can be drying. Top it all off with a good facial moisturizing cream. If this area is extra dry, use a facial moisturizing mask twice a month. Third, . Keep our beauty products clean and simple, particularly if you have sensitive skin. Stay away from products with color, fragrance, or those that produce bubbles or have "antibacterial" on the labe. These can all irritate skin.

Assalamualaikum to everybody.I hope all of you are in the best of health. For this session,I want to talk about appearance and composition of Pluto.

Pluto's apparent magnitude averages 15.1, brightening to 13.65 at perihelion. To see it, a telescope is required around 30 cm (12 in) aperture being desirable. It looks indistinct and star-like even in very large telescopes because its angular diameter is only 0.11". It is light brown with a very slight tint of yellow.

Spectroscopic analysis of Pluto's surface reveals it to be composed of more than 98 percent nitrogen ice, with traces of methane and carbon monoxide.Distance and current limits on telescope technology make it impossible to directly photograph surface details on Pluto. Images from the Hubble Space Telescope barely show any distinguishable surface definitions or markings.

I think, that`s all for this session that I can share with all of you.Thank you for reading.

Everyone has their own favourite car.My dream car is Ferrari F40.Ferrari is an Italian sports car manufacturer based in Maranello, Italy. Founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1928 as Scuderia Ferrari, the company sponsored drivers and manufactured race cars before moving into production of street-legal vehicles in 1947 as Ferrari S.p.A.. Throughout its history, the company has been noted for its continued participation in racing, especially in Formula One, where it has enjoyed great success.

After years of financial struggles, Enzo Ferrari sold the company's sports car division to the Fiat group in 1969 to ensure continued financial backing. Enzo Ferrari retained control of the racing division until his death in 1988 at the age of 90. Earlier that year he had overseen the launch of the Ferrari F40; the last new Ferrari to be launched before his death, and arguably one of the most famous supercars ever made.

For those who have problem to sleep,I have some tips for you.
1. Make regular exercise at evening so that you feel a bit tired at night.
2. Create a good environmet. Make sure your bed is large enough for you. Use a celan pillow and mattress.
3. Food also can help you sleep.
Do not sleep a large meal within two hours before sleep.Try to make dinnertime earlier in the evening, and avoid heavy, rich foods as bedtime snacks.
4. Take a warm bath.It is a great way to relax your body. Do not overdo it. You merely want to relax your body, not exhaust it. Too long in hot water and your body is drained of vitality.
5. Listen to music.Play some soft music lull you to sleep. Some are specially composed music, others simply have sounds of waves rhythmically breaking, or the steady pattern of a heartbeat.
6. Drink warm milk. A glass of warm milk 15 minutes before going to bed will calm your nervous system. Milk contains calcium, which works directly on jagged nerves to make you relax.
7. Not thinking. Just lie down, close your eyes, and concentrate on 'not thinking'.
8. Keep your bedroom at comfortable temperature. Not too warm and not too cold. Cooler is better than warmer.

Assalamualaikum and good day to all of you.
Is there a single person among us who does not like to be happy? The answer is of course NO. No one likes to be sad and unhappy. It is against human nature. But still why is it that we get upset so very often for unnecessary reasons? It is very common that we get upset for no particular reason sometimes. In this world of ours no one ever takes the effort to change oneself. We are always trying to change the other person to suit our needs, so that we may be happy. But one thing to remember is that you can never become happy unless you change yourself. Happiness is not something we can get from outside. It is something you have to look for within yourself, and the only way we can do that is to put in a little effort to change some of our ways. Just try out these ten simple points and see how you can transform your life.

1)LEARN TO BE CONTENDED
2) STOP DAYDREAMING
3) LIVE IN THE PRESENT
4) NEVER MIND CRITICISM
5) NEVER MIND MISTAKES AND FAILURES
6) SAY GOODBYE TO ANGER AND JEALOUSY
7) BE CONFIDENT
8) DON T BE LAZY
9) DEVELOP INTEREST AND ENJOY YOUR WORK
10) KEEP A CLEAN AND PURE MIND

So let's start living life the way it should be lived. We can start right from today. We have nothing to lose and lots to gain by being happy. So DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY!

Thank you.

Good morning people!!

This time i want to share about the importance of being honest and loyal to people around us.

For me,honesty comes from our sincere hearts and something that is cannot be measured or looked into, but it is something that we could show to.Honesty is the human quality of communicating and acting truthfully related to truth as a value. This includes listening, and any action in the human repertoire — as well as speaking. Superficially, honesty means simply stating facts and views as best one truly believes them to be. It includes both honesty to others, and to oneself and about one's own motives and inner reality. Honesty, at times, has the ability to cause misfortune to the person who displays it. Honesty can also mean fairness, and truthfulness, and the avoidance of misleading people.

good day...

In a shrinking job market, fresh graduates normally further their studies, but with a declining asset base, too, fewer can do so now.

WHAT does a fresh graduate in smallish Singapore do when he can’t find a job in its worst recession in history?

Answer: He tries to do what thousands of his predecessors have done before, go for further studies to enhance his value. But this time there is less of it.

The paper chase has helped mould the city’s success. Even at the peak of spending cuts, the government has always left education alone.

And it is the parents who are always the driving force, who bear most of the sacrifice, digging into their savings to finance their kids’ efforts for a Master’s. Jobless diploma holders would go for a degree, and graduates for a post-grad.

In this deepening recession, however, there are fewer of these post-degree seekers. They don’t call this the worst economic crisis for nothing.

The hardship from a declining economy and asset base has resulted in a shrinkage of the people’s ambitions, too. Fewer parents can afford it, so fewer youths are pursuing their dream.

The government wants Singaporeans to carry on this practice for eventual recovery.

The Acting Minister for Manpower Gan Kim Yong recently repeated the appeal in parliament, dangling a number of scholarships in statutory boards for the purpose.

The declining zeal – at least temporarily – is probably due to the very severe nature of the downturn when people prefer to conserve cash.

The crisis resembles none other the new generation of Singaporeans has experienced – nor likely ever will.

Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam thinks it will take another year for the world to merely untangle the global financial woes, with worse yet to come.

As for the recovery period, no one knows when, Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew said. “It may last one year, two years, or it may go on for three years. But we must be prepared for it.”

Jobs are being lost every day, and hundreds of small businesses face bankruptcy. Living in such traumatic times has its toll.

One of them is the expected large numbers of fresh graduates this year who may become jobless for a long time. The majority will probably succeed, eventually, but in positions and wage levels that will be disappointing.

Unlike the past, the possibility of furthering their studies may be dismally small, except for the very wealthy.

“If the jobless go for their post-grad now, which is not cheap, they may not have enough cash to pay for their other daily necessities,” one blogger said.

Many of their parents have had their assets decimated either by falling business, or losses in the stock or property markets

But there is more to it than that. With the change in the world’s and Singapore’s structures, a higher degree is today less promising than it once was.

“The job may still not be there,” said an engineer. “From an unemployed graduate you may become an unemployed post-graduate.”

Another cynic asked: “Will a PhD make a better taxi driver or private tuition teacher when the crunch comes?”

This is a global phenomenon, the state of its evolving economic structure to find many youths graduating in one field and ending up in a totally different career.

The majority of jobs available – or being created – these days require lower-level academic skills but a greater degree of practical experience.

Singapore could likely go the way of the West with its grade inflation in education (a proliferation of Grade “A” students) and an over-supply of graduates.

In times like this, a higher degree may even be a disadvantage.

In the last recession, the son of an old friend did exactly that. Hearing about the recession-hit poor market in Singapore, he stayed back in Australia to get a Masters in Mass Communication. His return was an eye-opener, his mother said.

Letter after letter was turned down, with several telling him, ”Sorry, you’re over-qualified. We don’t need a post-grad.”

Would they accept his higher degree but pay him a normal grad’s pay? No, they replied, being over-qualified convinced them that he wouldn’t stay.

Blogger Muneu said: “At some point the paper chase must come to an end. Life in Singapore and the world at large is all about competition ... and that means acquiring true and relevant knowledge.”

Does this signify the start of higher education decline in Singapore? No, it doesn’t. This is just a passing problem.

Like other Confucius-influenced states – Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong – a university degree is a huge part of life.

In fact, Singapore’s type of meritocracy is based on academic grades using a system that is seen as modelled along ancient China’s imperial examination.

During that era, the best scholars were picked to sit for the exam and – if selected – became magistrates and top civil servants to govern on behalf of the emperor.

Similarly, in Singapore, the best scholars are selected from their grades in the primary, secondary, junior college levels and given top state scholarships.

The best are then injected into the highest elite echelon of government – Cabinet ministers, top civil service administrators and the army.

With few exceptions, they are given a life-long career, and paid grossly high salaries that are the envy of many people in Singapore and abroad.

This means one thing: there will always be an endless stream of Singaporeans chasing after a high-paying government career through the academic channel, more so than any other place in the world.

thank you..

HI,TODAY..I would like to give some tips to enhance and maintain good health.Just a simple steps..

1. Sleep:Loss of sleep has been shown in research to have a cumulative negative effect on the overall outcome of energy production, glucose metabolism and aging. Proper sleep is essential to replenish energy reserves, rebuild and repair muscle tissue, reenergize the immune system and cleanse the brain of excess cellular debris. The body repairs itself in the delta sleep phase, which occurs in the early hours of the morning, so the later you fall asleep, the less your body will repair itself for the morning. One hour before midnight is equal to two hours after midnight. Do not eat (especially high-carbohydrate foods) too close to bedtime. Eating before sleep can alter your HGH (human growth hormone) production due to increased insulin levels. Not eating for two or three hours before bedtime allows for maximum
HGH peaks.

2. Increase Your Water Intake:Water helps to hydrate the inside of your cells, thereby improving excretion of wastes and improving absorption of nutrients. Here are some interesting statistics: 75% of North Americans are chronically dehydrated. In 37% of people, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger. One glass of water shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of dieters studied in a Washington study. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as much as 3%. Lack of water is the number one trigger of daytime fatigue. Research indicates that 8 - 10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.

3. Sunshine:It is important to get exposed to sunshine! It helps to produce vitamin D in your body which helps with the absorption of calcium. Here are some other things that sunshine can do for you: decrease the resting heart rate, decrease respiratory rate, decrease lactic acid, increase cellular oxygen uptake, increase muscular strength, decrease blood pressure, lower blood sugar, increase tolerance to stress, reduce cholesterol, decrease triglyceride levels, inhibit cancer cell formation and stimulate the immune system.

4. Exercise Regularly:The best exercise is walking! Try to do about 2 miles or 3 kilometers a day. You can start at smaller distances at the beginning and progress to more later. Start slowly, and then gradually increase your speed. Walk fast enough to raise your heartbeat, but not so fast that you become breathless. Breathe deeply expanding your lower diaphragm, rather than taking shallow breathes, and concentrate on exhaling completely. Your stomach shouldn't be rigid but expand with each breathe naturally. If you have the stamina and flexibility, take short jogs occasionally and then return to a brisk walk

5. Nutrition:We were created to function optimally, physically and mentally, by eating food that nourishes the entire body. The best foods, of course, are organic: that is foods that have been grown without pesticides or herbicides. Over half of our diet should consist of organic raw fruits and vegetables. The remainder is made up of organic grains, nuts, seeds and oils. The best oils are organic flax seed oil and cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil. Organic, free-range eggs can be eaten freely. And small amounts of fish and lean, organic meats. If raw, organic milk is available, it can be made very easily into kefir or yogurt, which are also extremely healthy

let's live with healthy life

Assalamualikum and hello everyone.
Friend. What that you the definition of the word? What would you suggest?
A friend, what really is a friend, a real true friend? As you take that long journey through life you will never be alone. A friend will always be there if you need her. A friend never turns her back on you when you need her. The one true friend you meet along the way will never give up on your friendship no matter what.
As you go through life many different people will come and go, only a few will grasp on a piece of your heart forever. I believe that these are the people that make you the person you are. A good friend is hard to find so once she grasps on do not ever let her go.

Changing the world begins first with changing ourselves. Self improvement involves means taking an honest look at ourselves to identify our shortcomings and improve them. These steps will begin your journey into being a better person.

Step1
Look for the best qualities of others and yourself. Take advantage of situations where you can exercise your best qualities and highlight those of others. Record your thoughts daily and review them to visualize what affects us and how. Schedule a window for quiet time each day.

Step2
Give others the same dignity that you would expect to receive. Recognize that status or income levels do not make the man nor determine his value. Take time to actually hear what others have to say instead of interjecting your own personal thoughts or simply not paying attention.

Step3
Become involved in what others have to say by asking sincere questions and waiting for an answer. This will enhance your relationships, allowing you to make positive contributions to a healthy friendship.

Step4
Provide assistance to others when needed, going out of your way if necessary. Acts of kindness are often met with reciprocal acts of kindness. You are further demonstrating how to be a better person and reaping the rewards from your efforts while making others feel special.

Step5
Empathize with others' plights or circumstances. Listening to your heart and following it instead of being judgmental contributes to your being a better person. Being honest in your dealings with others also promotes positive relationships. Problems arise when the truth is not spoken or twisted to suit one's motives. Choose your words carefully and precisely. Express yourself kindly.

Step6
Develop a set of standards and live by them. Don't allow others' viewpoints to alter your code of ethics. Maintaining your personal values during difficult times will help you to be a better person.

Lastly be happy don't worry !!

Assalamualaikum and hello to everyone,

Today I think I would like to talk about bad mood.

No one can live a long and healthy life without task that happen to us, sometimes mood swings can make us feel that life is so mean and too much for us.

I’m goes to search on internet and I find an article on how to lift a bad mood in our life written by Dr. Maoshing Ni.

Referred from the article, a bad mood not only gives you a gloomy outlook, as you don’t know it also can lowers your immune function and can leading you the way to illness.

There are some suggestion to lift your mood, your spirit and also your health:

1. Laugh therapy - first of all you need to laugh often, research has discovered that when you laugh ,it may increase your immune function, especially the production of the natural killer cells that help defend the body from illness and cancer. Laugh also can increase the release of endorphins-compound that gives you a sense of well-being located in your brain. So, why not you read your favourite comics, watch your favourite comedies, and laugh it up!

2. Hands-on healing- do you know that human touch also can increase the production of endorphins and growth hormone. Assalamualaikum and good afternoon..Today i want to tell you one of my favourite badminton racquet's brand which is yonex..The company of yonex was founded in 1946 by Minoru Yoneyama as a producer of wooden floats for fishing nets. The company was later forced out of this market because of the invention of plastic floats. This led to a commitment by Yoneyama to never again be left behind by technological advancements. In 1957, Yoneyama began to make badminton racquets for other brands. By 1961, the first Yoneyama branded racquet was introduced, and within another two years an export company was created for the worldwide distribution. After the company began to make aluminum badminton racquets in 1969, it found that the same technology could be applied to the tennis racquet which the company introduced in 1971. The company began to experiment with graphite shafts for both types of racquets and found that these would also be useful for golf clubs. Finding a growing market, the Yonex Corporation (a wholly owned subsidiary) was established in Torrance, California in July 1983. In 1992 Yonex introduced the widebody racquet the "Isometric 500", a racquet that was much less "tear drop" shaped than previous racquets. The more "square" head of the racquet gave it a much larger striking surface, which provides a larger "sweet spot" to hit the shuttle. It led other manufacturers to follow suit in "square-head" or isometric designs. The parent company was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 1994.That's all..

Thank you

Assalammualaikum and Hello everybody..

Today,I want to share my opinion about modified a car.

Those who take civics and turn them into their own creation invest a lot of time and money into them. And if you ask me, I know they are proud of what they have done. I don't know what is qualified as right when modifying a vehicle.

These cars are not created to just win beauty contests and go around a track fastest. They are to do whatever the owner wants. If all they want are weird that look smart, that's fine to them. Their vehicle will be different with those lights, and that's what it's all about.

Thank you

Today,,,i want to discuss about cigarette.a cigarette (French "small cigar", from cigar + -ette) is a product consumed through smoking and manufactured out of cured and finely cut tobacco leaves and reconstituted tobacco, often combined with other additives, then rolled or stuffed into a paper-wrapped cylinder (generally less than 120 mm in length and 10 mm in diameter). The cigarette is ignited at one end and allowed to smoulder for the purpose of inhalation of its smoke from the other (usually filtered) end, which is inserted in the mouth. They are sometimes smoked with a cigarette holder. The term cigarette, as commonly used, refers to a tobacco cigarette but can apply to similar devices containing other herbs, such as cannabis.
Nicotine, the primary psychoactive chemical in tobacco, is addictive. Cigarette use by pregnant women has also been shown to cause birth defects (which include mental and physical disability). On average, each cigarette smoked shortens lifespan by 11 minutes and smokers who die of tobacco-related disease lose, on average, 14 years of life.

Good day everyone...

13 Things Your Pharmacist Won't Tell You

1. Don't try to get anything past us. Prescriptions for painkillers or sleeping aids always get extra scrutiny.

2. We're not serving fries in here. I'd think twice about using a drive-through pharmacy.

3. We're human … and we make mistakes (about two million a year).

4. Sometimes we can't read the doctor's handwriting either.

5. I hate your insurance company as much as you do.

6. We can give flu shots in most states.

7. A less-qualified pharmacy technician may have actually filled your prescription. Currently, there is no national standard for their training and responsibilities.

8. Generics are a close match for most brand names. But I'd be careful with blood thinners and thyroid drugs, since small differences can have big effects.

9. I can give you a generic refill that's different from the one you started with. When in doubt, ask.

10. We're not mind readers, and there's not some big computer database that tracks your drugs and flags interactions for pharmacists everywhere.

11. Avoid the lines. It gets busy Monday and Tuesday evenings, since many new prescriptions and refills come in after the weekend.

12. Look into the $4 generics offered by chains like Target, Kroger, and Wal-Mart.

13. Yelling at me won't help. If I can't reach your doctor and/or insurance company to approve a refill, there's nothing I can do about it.

so...
watch out!
