Hi!
This time, I would like to share about the sunburn. This is because it is very close to our daily life.Plus,we had get sunburned during surveying lab.I got this article from the internet. The article said that, Sunburn results from too much sun or sun-equivalent exposure. Almost everyone has been sunburned or will become sunburned at some time. Anyone who visits beach, goes fishing, works in the yard, or simply is out in the sun can get sunburn. Improper tanning bed use is also a source of sunburn. Although seldom fatal (sun poisoning), sunburn can be disabling and cause quite a bit of discomfort. Sunburn is literally a burn on your skin. It is a burn from ultraviolet (UV) radiation. The consequence of this burn is inflammation of the skin. Injury can start within 30 minutes of exposure. These are the causes of sunburn which is UVA and UVB refer to different wavelengths in the light spectrum. UVB is more damaging to the skin especially for cancer. So, Both UVA and UVB are responsible for photo aging (premature aging of the skin and wrinkles) and sunburn. Tanning beds produce both UVA and UVB rays. Travel to the southern United States, regions close to the equator, and places at high altitudes all offer the unwary visitor an opportunity to be injured by sunburn. Certain light-skinned and fair-haired people are at greater risk of sunburn injury. Prior recent sun exposure and prior skin injury are risks for sunburn, even in limited exposure to the sun. However, normal limited exposure to UV radiation produces beneficial vitamin D in the skin.
In my opinion, we should prevent our skin from the sunburn to avoid any skin problem.

Yoga... Are you know about yoga...? Yoga For stress?
The word yoga means "union" in Sanskrit, the language of ancient India where yoga originated. We can think of the union occurring between the mind, body and spirit. Yoga has long been known to be a great antidote to stress. Yoga combines many popular stress-reducing techniques, including exercise and learning to control the breath, clear the mind, and relax the body. As yoga becomes increasingly popular, more and more people are discovering the benefits this ancient practice brings to their stressful lives.
• Exercise : Hatha yoga is the physical practice of yoga postures. When you are stressed, tension is stored in the body making you feel tight and often causing pain. The intense stretching of yoga releases tension from problem areas, including the hips and shoulders.
• Breath Control : Although breathing is an involuntary act (you have to keep doing it to stay alive), you can choose to regulate the breath. Just learning to take deep breaths and realizing that this can be a quick way to combat stressful situations is amazingly effective.
• Clearing the Mind : Our minds are constantly active, racing from one thought to another, spinning possible scenarios for the future, dwelling on incidents from the past. All this mind work is tiring and stressful. Yoga offers several techniques for taming the monkey mind. One is breath work, as outlined above. Each breath is tied inextricably to the present moment; you are not breathing in the past or the future, but only right now. Focusing on each inhale and exhale to the exclusion of other thoughts is one way to clear the mind, It is also a basic meditation technique. In addition, the performance of yoga poses, or asanas, also acts as a form of meditation. The poses are so physical, and have to be done with such concentration, that all other thoughts and worries are put to the side, giving your brain a much-needed break.
• Relaxation : Each yoga sessions ends with five to ten minutes spent relaxing in corpse pose - savasana. While this enforced relaxation can be difficult at first, eventually it serves the purpose of a total release for both body and mind. Savasana transitions you back into the world feeling refreshed and equipped with the tools to combat stress in your daily life.

Tq.. if your stress about study, your must try it!!

Anyone of us having an allergy? I have find out about allergy because my niece having a really bad allergy. According to Daniel Mores, allergy is an abnormal reaction by a person’s immune system against a normally harmless substance. There is no reasonable reason for allergy. Allergies seem to run in families, and some cases family members can share allergies to specific food or meant to protect the body against infection, although now seems to be an abnormal response to noninfectious triggers. It can occur anytime, anywhere but it commonly occurs during our childhood.

The symptom of allergy may be obvious, such as with fever or not too obvious such as having trouble breathing after taking a certain medication. For young child, the symptom is not being so obvious. There are many types of symptom of allergy. You need o find of what the types of your symptom to know which allergy are you suffer from. Don’t take allergy as a simple thing because it can cause death.

Be careful my fellow friends.

Are allergy with peanut? Dr Scott H.Sicherer, author of Understanding and Managing Your Child’s Food Allergies for the fact that sensitive people are prone multiple allergies.
Science has not yet answered why peanuts, which are classified as legumes, provoke such as swift, strong reaction in so many. One theory is that some peanut proteins evade digestion better than do the proteins in other legumes. Sicherer notes that undigested proteins “Show them selves more” to the immune system. Another theory is that roasting the peanut makes it more allergenic.

Don't just use computer, you need to clean it, this is step to clean moniter and the case:

The screen-A liquid crystal display, or LCD, isn't glass, so avoid using glass cleaner. Use LCD cleaning wipes that can be found in large retail store or computer shop near you. You may also use lens cleaning wipes typically found in the camera department.Never spray anything directly onto the screen, as water can seep into the case and damage the circuitry inside.

The Case-As with the CRT case, use a handheld vacuum, a vacuum cleaner with a computer attachment, or a specialized computer vacuum to clean the cooling vents. NEVER spray any type of cleaner near these vents, as you will damage the circuitry inside. The rest of the case can be cleaned with a soft cloth lightly dampened with plain water.

Do you heard about KLCC and Twin Towers? I am sure each Malaysian citizen should know the full name of KLCC or and where are the located. Some of us were confuse between KLCC and Petronas Twin Towers. They thought that two different things were the same. As a Malaysian’s citizen, this is should not happened. KLCC is for Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the centre for big event and convention but the tallest building in the world before being surpassed by Taipei 101 is called Petronas Twin Towers (also known as the Petronas Towers or just Twin Towers). This buildings was designed by Argentine-American architect César Pelli and has been completed 1998. There are some tenants of Petronas Twin Towers such as Sky Bridge, KLCC Park, the lift systems and service building. Because of the depth of the bedrock, the buildings were built on the world's deepest foundations. The 120-meter foundations were built by Bachy Soletanche, and required massive amounts of concrete. The construction takes 6 years time to be completed and there have 88 floors. The Tower One is fully occupied by the Petronas Company and a number of its subsidiaries and associate companies and the office space in Tower Two are mostly available for lease to other companies such as Carigali, Microsoft, IBM and others. I am proud be Malaysian and proud to tell about our Twin Towers for foreigner and young generation in the future.

Structure of hearts

The structure of heart of animal kingdom, like cephalopods have two “gill heart” and one “systemic heart”,like fish have a two chambered heart that pumps the blood to the gills and from there it goes on to the rest of the body.differences in amphibians and most reptiles,a double circulatory system is used, but the heart is not always completely separated into two pumped.amphibians have a three-chambered heart.bird s and mammals shows thw complete separation of heart into two pumps, for a total of four heart chambers.in human body, heart is usually situated in the middle of the thorax with the largest part of heart slightly offset to the left the heart is usually felt to be on the left side because the left heart is strongerthe heart is fed by the coronary circulation and enclosed by sac known as the pericardium and is surrounded by lungs.the heart is located in te mediastinum, the central subdivision of the thoracic cavity, its also contain other structures, such as the oesophagus and trachea, ang is flanked on either side by the right and left pulmonary cavities.

3 SIGNS THAT YOUR MAN IS CHEATING.

How do you know if you are dating a cheater? You don't need to be a private eye to suss out these warning signs:

1. Revived Interest in Appearance: If your partner suddenly undergoes a makeover of sorts, in which he spends much more time on his appearance, it could mean that he is trying to impress someone new. If he all of the sudden ditches his old khakis and sweats for something more stylish, it might be because he is trying to look his best for a new woman.

2. Missing in Action: If there are large periods in which your partner is absent and unaccounted for, it could be because there are mischievous motives behind his AWOL behavior. Whether it is a run to the corner store that takes over an hour, or whether he is constantly "working late," a missing husband could mean something sinister.

3. Mysterious Texts or Phone Calls: If you notice mysterious texts or phone calls on your phone bill, or if your husband tries to hide the phone bill or his cell phone from you, it might mean that there is a new love interest in the rafters. Additionally, if he spends more time on the computer, or tries to hide the screen he was looking at when you walk in the room, this is a good indicator that he might be philandering via the worldwide web.

Of course, the best way to discover what your partner is up to behind your back is to communicate openly and honestly with him. Share your fears regarding his fidelity and try to discuss the matter before you go crazy with worry. Remember, things are not always as they seem!

“BIOTECHNOLOGY”

Biotechnology is technology based on biology, especially when used in agriculture, food science, and medicine. United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity defines biotechnology as any technological application that uses biological systems, living organisms, or derivatives thereof, to make or modify products or processes for specific use. Biotechnology is often used to refer to genetic engineering technology of the 21st century, however the term encompasses a wider range and history of procedures for modifying biological organisms according to the needs of humanity, going back to the initial modifications of native plants into improved food crops through artificial selection and hybridization. Bioengineering is the science upon which all biotechnological applications are based. With the development of new approaches and modern techniques, traditional biotechnology industries are also acquiring new horizons enabling them to improve the quality of their products and increase the productivity of their systems.

The Elephant Man
When I went back to my house a few days ago, I’ve found an old story book. It was my older sister’s when she was in secondary school. It was ‘The Elephant Man’.
The story is about a man who’s born with a hideous looking face (actually was a deformity). He was mistreated while scraping a living as a side-show freak. Most of the people were horrified just by looking at his face. He never sleeps like a normal person. He sleeps sitting with his head resting upon his knees, as the weight of his skull would cause a fatal constriction of his windpipe. A doctor, if I’m not mistaken, saw him and took a good care of him, treated him like a human being and not an animal. A few things happen, The doctor discover a person of intelligence and sensitivity in the 'elephant man'. For once, he wanted to be like the rest of us… he slept like the rest of us, lie on our bed. The weight of his skull was too much. He broke his neck and died. That's how the story end.

Twilight also called dawn or dusk, is the time between the beginning or end of night and daylight. Sunlight scattered in the upper atmosphere illuminates the lower atmosphere, and the surface of the Earth is not completely lit or completely dark. The sun itself is not actually visible because it is below the horizon. Due to the unusual, romantic quality of the ambient light at this time, twilight has long been popular with photographers and painters, who refer to it as the "blue hour", after the French expression l'heure bleue.

Twilight is technically defined as the portion of the day during which it is possible to conduct outdoor activities without the aid of artificial light, beginning in the morning and ending in the evening.[1] The period of daylight (between sunrise and sunset) occurs within the period of twilight.

The collateral adjective of "twilight" is crepuscular (for daylight it is "diurnal" and for night, "nocturnal"). The term is most frequently encountered when applied to certain species of insects and mammals that are most active during that time.

I've recently watched a movie called twilight. It's a vampire based movie. At first i dont really get why the author uses the name twilight. Now i know, that twilight is actually when it's a certain time where the daylight is not strong, suitable for a vampire to move around.

Today I want to share about a way to reduce your chances of a heart attack.First step you want to do is check your cholesterol and blood pressure levels. High blood pressure or cholesterol can put you at greater risk for heart disease. After that ,watch your diet and weight to keep cholesterol and blood pressure levels down if they are high .you also need to avoid eating some foods which are high in cholesterol and saturated fat. Stop smoking if you is a smoker. Smoking speeds up the development of atherosclerosis by damaging the artery walls, which allows cholesterol deposits to develop. Beside that ,exercise regularly to help prevent a heart attack and increase your chances of surviving one. Reduce stress is also important for someone is study and work by limit using caffeine and alcohol consumption. Evaluate whether other conditions put you at higher risk for heart disease. Hypercholesterolemia, high triglyceride levels, low-density lipoproteins and diabetes may add to your risk of a heart attack.

Pump

I have read this article from Wikipedia. Do you know what is pump? Before I read this article, I just think that pump is just use for fluids because in my course, pump is use to move fluid in pipe. But I’m wrong. A pump is a device used to move fluids, such as gases, liquids or slurries. A pump displaces a volume by physical or mechanical action. One common misconception about pumps is the thought that they create pressure. Pumps alone do not create pressure they only displace fluid causing a flow. Adding resistance to flow causes pressure. The earliest type of pump was the Archimedes' screw, first used by Sennacherib, King of Assyria, for the water systems at the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and Nineveh in the 7th century BC, and later described in more detail by Archimedes in the 3rd century BC. In the 13th century AD, al-Jazari described and illustrated different types of pumps, including a reciprocating pump, double-action pump, suction pump, and piston pump.
