Rapidly Evolving Humans

Many people think that we humans haven't evolved much since the Stone Age. Some scientist argue, in fact, that natural selection has relaxed to the point of stopping because we can survive in modern times without having to make physical alterations. According to this article, it is estimated that humans are changing faster than ever, that natural selection over the last 5,000 years had been taken place 100 times more rapidly than at any period in human evolution.

Some Animals Just Don’t Need Males?

Did you know that there are certain animal species where there are no males, only females.
This is fairly common among insects and worms but also occurs to a lesser extent in some lizards.
Due to only one existing sex, the females are actually able to lay eggs without the need of a male (i.e. no fertilization is required).
This method of reproduction is known as parthenogenesis and almost always leads to the birth of female offspring.
As an example the New Mexico whiptail lizard is 100% parthenogenic and has been bred in captivity for many generations with no males at all.

Yesterday,i read an article about the real reason women love chocolate. About 99% women love to eat chocolate. Women love it because chocolate equals to love. In our culture, chocolate is thought of as a romantic gift. For women especially, it's associated with love and romance. Moreover, it tastes great as it melts in your mouth. Chocolate lovers often describe this melting feeling as a moment of true of ecstasy. It's the cocoa butter in chocolate that gives it the rich and creamy texture that we love so much. In addition, chocolate makes us feel good. The real reason women love to eat chocolate is chocolate contains phenylethylamine. From what i understand, this chemical the same like chemical that is released in the brain when we fall in love. That's why women love to eat chocolate.

In this drama, i have earn a lot of new information about the latest technology on how they determine the criminal on each cases they face.1 of the example is full automatic DNA decompose system. If we use the older technology it will take more than 2 weeks to decompose the DNA that the investigator take from crime scene, but with this new technology it only take 1 less than 1 week to decompose the DNA.It help a lot in rape case because it can help determine the identity of the raper early and prevent another girl to became the victim of the same raper.

I would like to share to everyone about what I have read just now, Start-up Strategies, from Strengthen your immune system. Rather than deny yourself favorite foods, reduce portion sizes, choosing, say,15 chips instead of the whole bag. Three other small but essential steps for long-lasting success:
1. Make it a point to eat some fat. Eat about 30 g of fat a day to avoid a ‘rebound’ effect. Research by US scientists found that five hours after volunteers ate a low-fat meal, they had consumed 81% kilojoules than did those who had eaten a high-fat meal.
2. Watch portion size. Weight gain results from eating too many kilojoules, no matter where they come from. Cut your typical portions of everything, except fruit and vegetable, by at least 25%. Eat out less often in restaurants, where portions tend to be very big. To avoid temptation, don’t put serving bowls on the table.
3. Move more. Take a brisk 20 or 30 minute walk each day. Even small, fidgety moves, such as chewing gum or drumming your fingers, can burn off about 45 kJ an hour, according to the Mayo Clinic and studies reported in the New England Journal of Medicine.

I have just read about music and entertainment. So, I just want to write something about musics.
I think everyone love to listen to the music. Whatever kinds of music with varies themes, rhythms, melodies, lyrics and styles. For me, music is universal. Anyone in any ages, religion or nation can listen to it. Ok, can we imagine if there's no more music in our life. I personally can't, because I've always had music as part of my life. Music can entertain me whenever I need it. Besides, by listening to the music, sometimes it can release my tension. However, what about people who are born deaf and never get to hear music? I wonder how thier experiences differ from my own.

Today I want to share the information about new marine life discovered off Tasmania. This case occurs at Sydney, Australia and United State of America. A team of researchers has uncovered new marine life including fiery red coral and purple-spotted sea anemones, in deep waters off Tasmania. Based on four week expedition, the scientist also found that most reef-forming coral deeper than 1,300 meters in the area were newly dead.
Researchers will study samples of the coral to try and determinate whether the creatures are dying because of ocean warming, disease, a rise in ocean acidity or some other reason. Ron Thresher one of the expedition’s chief scientist said that the mathematical models predict that we could be seeing impacts of ocean acidification on that region.
Furthermore, the effect of rising ocean acidity on coral was troubling, said Michael Kingsford, head of marine biology at James Cook University in Queensland State. Any warning signs that deep calcium carbonate-based on the animals like corals are getting weaker.

Hi again.
At the moment, i was listening Elvis Presley Songs, so why don't i make a story about one of my idol. Elvis Presley may be the single most important figure in American 20th-century popular music. Not necessarily the best, and certainly not the most consistent. But no one could argue that he was not the musician most responsible for popularizing rock & roll on an international level. Viewed in cold sales figures, his impact was phenomenal. Dozens upon dozens of international smashes from the mid-'50s to the mid-'70s, as well as the steady sales of his catalog and reissues since his death in 1977, may make him the single highest-selling performer in history. More important from a music lover's perspective, however, are his remarkable artistic achievements. His 1950s recordings established the basic language of rock and roll, his explosive and sexual stage presence set standards for the music's visual image. On thing that i admire is his vocal, his vocals were incredibly powerful and versatile. Unfortunately, to much of the public, Elvis is more icon than artist. By the time of his death, he'd become more a symbol of gross Americana than of cultural innovation. The continued speculation about his incredible career has sustained interest in his life, and supported a large tourist/entertainment industry, that may last indefinitely, even if the fascination is fueled more by his celebrity than his music. That all, thank you.

Tips to maintain a healthy diet
Most people know that being overweight contributes to the serious diseases such as high blood pressure and heart attack. This suggestion may help you to prevent from the ill:

• Whole grain product is healthier. Examples are whole grain bread, pastas, crackers, bagels, tortillas, and brown rice.
• Fruits such as oranges, grapefruit, kiwi, melons, and strawberries are excellent sources of Vitamin C.
• Betacarotene is found in red, yellow, and orange fruits and vegetables such as apricots, peaches, carrots, tomatoes, and squash.
• Dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach, broccoli, kale, and romaine lettuce are great sources of folic acid.
• Non-dairy sources of calcium are salmon, sardines, dates, oranges, pinto beans, broccoli, kale, and calcium-fortified juices, breads, and cereals.
• Choose cheeses made from part-skim milk. Examples are Jarlsburg, Swiss Lorraine, string, mozzarella, tybo, lappi, and farmers cheese.
• Choose yogurts made from non-fat milk. Skip the extra sugar by choosing those made with aspartame. This sweetener is actually two naturally occurring amino acids: phenylalanine and aspartic acid. They are widely found in food and not hazardous to your health.
• Keep this in mind as you use butter: An avocado cut in eights, a strip of bacon, a teaspoon of cream cheese and five nuts are all equal to a pat of butter or five grams of fat.
• If you can not live without candy, save it for a special occasion rather than an every day indulgence.
• Drink in moderation. Though a glass of red wine may prove to lower cholesterol levels, remember a glass is 6 ounces not 16 ounces

Che Det-An inspirational icon
In my previous post, I had twice using Tun Mahathir’s blog as my source of reference. He is my icon and inspiration to be a great thinker. By this time, I would like to share with my fellow friends about Che Det or by his real name Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohammad. He was well-known as a Father of Modernization during his era as our fourth Prime Minister (PM). He was born on the 10th of June 1925 in Alor Star, Kedah as the youngest of 9 children, consist of 6 boys and 3 girls. Tun was the only PM (at that time) who was never got education abroad unlike the three former PMs before. He had his early education at a Malay school and continued it at the Sultan Abdul Hamid College in Kedah. Later he pursued his study at King Edward VII College of Medicine, University of Malaya in Singapore, and a place where he fall in love with his wife. Since he was a school boy, his father has had trained him and his siblings to read books. As a result, Dr. Mahathir was a veracious reader and spent most of his free time reading. Furthermore, he always became the English debating champion and was made a librarian. Hence, I love to read through his opinion in his blog because all his words are full of concrete reasons. Dr. Mahathir was also blessed with the ability to write. He used to write a lot of articles for English newspaper Sunday Times under the pen name 'Che Det'. Other than writings in newspapers he also wrote a lot of books on many issues such as economy, social and others and still this do even he has retire. For 22 flaming years (from 16th of July 1981 until 31st of October 2003) as a PM, his wisdom words and thoughts have brought Malaysia towards a vast development. No matter how bad he had criticized the leadership of the PM after him, we should still remember him as our Father of Modernization.
To know more about the challenge he faced before and during as a PM, read more in:

In this post I would like to talk about our historical state, Malacca.

As we all know this city is still known as historical city with its buildings such as A Famosa. Malacca is the third smallest Malaysian state, after Perlis and Penang. It is located in the southern region of the Malay Peninsula, on the Straits of Malacca. The state's capital is Malacca Town. This historical city centre has been listed as a prominent World Heritage Site of UNESCO since 7th July 2008.

There are lots of popular historical attraction. Fort A Famosa was constructed by the Portuguese in 1511, it suffered severe structural damage during the Dutch invasion. The plan by the British to destroy it was aborted as a result of the intervention of Sir Stamford Raffles in 1808.
Second is St. Peter's Church. it was constructed in 1710 under the Dutch administration, the church is the oldest Catholic church in Malaysia. There is also St. Paul's Church which was constructed by the Portuguese captain, Duarte Coelho, this church was named "Our Lady of The Hill", but was later turned into a burial ground by the Dutch for their noble dead, and renamed "St. Paul's Church". Currently the church is part of the Malaccan Museums Complex. The body of St. Francis Xavier was interred here temporarily before it was taken to Goa, India.
Third is Stadthuys. This building had been constructed in 1650 as the residence of the Dutch Governor and his deputy, the structure reflects Dutch architecture. It is today the "Museum of History and Ethnography". The museum exhibits traditional wedding clothes and artifacts of Melaka, dating back to its days of glory.
This Jonker Street (Jalan Hang Jebat) which is known now as Jonker Walk. This street is famous for its antique goods. It is also famous for its carnival-like atmosphere during weekend nights.

So,I think that, students should go to this state because it has a lot of historical moments.
Have a great vacation friends.

Did you ever watch the Japan’s movies? In some movies there have show professional female entertainers perform additional Japanese arts at banquets. That is what they call them as geisha. Girls that wish to become geisha have to go through a rigid apprenticeship during which they learn various traditional arts like playing music instrument, singing, dancing. Conversation and other social skills are included. In a place name Kyoto, geisha apprentices are called “maiko”. When a girl becomes a geisha, they were dressed in a kimono and their faces are made up very pale.

Assalamualaikum..
Why do kidneys fail?
Many of us know what is kidneys disease. But did we know why do our kidneys fail? I have read a article in the internet about the kidneys. The kidneys disease can attack people for many level of age. So, we should know about our kidneys and why do its fail.
Most kidney diseases attack the nephrons, causing them to lose their filtering capacity. Damage to the nephrons may happen quickly, often as the result of injury or poisoning. But most kidney diseases destroy the nephrons slowly and silently. Only after years or even decades will the damage become apparent. Most kidney diseases attack both kidneys simultaneously.
The two most common causes of kidney disease are diabetes and high blood pressure. If your family has a history of any kind of kidney problems, you may be at risk for kidney disease.
Diabetes is a disease that keeps the body from using glucose (sugar) as it should. If glucose stays in your blood instead of breaking down, it can act like a poison. Damage to the nephrons from unused glucose in the blood is called diabetic nephropathy. If you keep your blood glucose levels down, you can delay or prevent diabetic nephropathy.
High blood pressure can damage the small blood vessels in your kidneys. The damaged vessels cannot filter wastes from your blood as they are supposed to.
So, the most important key is the food. To beat the kidneys disease, we must control our diet everyday. Try to ask doctor about our food that we take everyday.

To Be ThE BeSt GuEsTs-
This article about how to be the best of guests. I think if you practice this, you will be the best guest…..Actually, I had tried its after read this article, and it give good effect to me.

Planning to stay with friends or relatives? These tips can make the experience more enjoyable for everyone. And you might even get invited back.

CALL FIRST. See to it that your hosts know in advance your arrival and departure dates, and make sure your schedule fits the plans. For instance, they might have other guests visiting at the time.

DOUBLE CHECK WHO’S REALLY INVITED. Don’t bring pets or children unless they are specifically invited. Your dog chewing up the family’s shoes or your kids destroying the furniture can be a host’s worst nightmare. If your children are welcome, make sure they are on their best behaviour.

DON’T COME EMPTY-HANDED. Bring a gift, such as their favourite drink or a decoration for the house, to show your appreciation.

LEND A HAND. Help out with the chores whenever possible. Straighten up your bed in the morning, hang your towel properly in the bathroom. If the hosts have house help, a small tip for the extra work is often appreciated.

PHONE HOME WITH CARE. Your hosts may refuse to accept money for long-distance calls, and then regret their graciousness when the bill arrives. To avoid problems, use a calling card.

GO WITH THE FLOW. Adapt your lifestyle to the way your hosts run their house. Don’t expect them to stay up to the small hours with you if they usually go to bed at 10 p.m.

HAVE FUN. Make your visit a joyful one. Your hosts aren’t running a hotel-they invited you because they like your company. Don’t hide in the guest room, and invite them along when you make plans to go out.

BUY DINNER. Take your hosts out to their favourite restaurant. This gives both the cook and their budget a break.

SAY THANKS. A card or phone call to say thanks will be appreciated. Even better, send a small gift.

SO TRY IT!!!!!..........

Today I want to share about the greenhouse. Greenhouse means is a structure with a glass or plastic roof and frequently glass or plastic walls; it heats up because incoming solar radiation from the sun warms plants, soil, and other things inside the building. The greenhouse effect refer to the change in the temperature of the earth. It occur when the atmosphere containing gas that absorbs and emits infrared radiation. Greenhouse gases, which include water vapor, carbon dioxide and methane, warm the atmosphere by efficiently absorbing thermal infrared radiation. The greenhouse effect was discovered by Joseph Fourier in 1824, first reliably experimented on by John Tyndall in the year 1858 and first reported quantitatively by Syante Arrhenius in his 1896 paper. In the absence of the greenhouse effect and an atmosphere, the earth,s average surface temperature could be as low as 18 °C.

The Electron is a fundamental subatomic particle that carries an electric charge.

It is a spin-half lepton that participates in electromagnetic interactions, and its mass is less than one thousandth of that of the smallest atom.

Its electric charge is defined by convention to be negative, with a value of -1 in atomic units.

Together with atomic nuclei, electrons make up atoms; their interaction with adjacent nuclei is the main cause of chemical bonding.

The electron is one of a class of subatomic particles called leptons, which are believed to be fundamental particles (that is, they cannot be broken down into smaller constituent parts)
