when we talk about fantasy, what do you think in your mind?
Is it fairy, magical world, magic stick, unicorn or any other things??

As what I remembered, we are disposed to these kind of fantasy since our childhood time.
Begins with stories like Snow White, Cinderella until now we have The Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia and many other stories.

However, from my opinion I think we should be very carefully in choosing the right fantasy stories. We must take the moral values inside the stories but at the same time we shouldn't be very fanatic to any of them.

At our age, I believe that we are very sure on what we do including to choose this fantasy story. My advice is to take a bit more care about the child or in another word, help them choose the right story.

Hopefully, all of you can learn something about it.
That's for now!!!

Last week,I am so bored. So,i am watching a movie. It is what happen in Vegas.I felt the movie so interesting and funny with comedy that charismatic party guy Jack Fuller (Ashton Kutcher) and buttoned-up commodities trader Joy McNally (Cameron Diaz) acting. This movie make me laughing non-stop sometimes.

Two strangers awaken together to discover they've gotten married following a night of debauchery in Sin City, and one of them has won a huge jackpot after playing the other's quarter. The newlyweds devise ever-escalating schemes to undermine each other and get their hands on the money - only to find themselves falling in love amid the mutual backstabbing.
That is a little synopsis of that movie.Thank you.

During the Chinese new year, we will saw a lot of dragon dance at the open house. Actually, what is Dragon dance??

Dragon dance is a form of traditional dance and performance in Chinese culture. Many Chinese people often use the term "Descendants of the Dragon" as a sign of ethnic identity.
In the dance, a team of people carry the dragon — which is an image of the Chinese dragon — on poles. The dance team does mimic the supposed movements of this river spirit in a sinuous, undulating manner. The movements in a performance traditionally symbolise historical roles of dragons demonstrating power and dignity. The dragon dance is a highlight of Chinese New Year celebrations held worldwide in Chinatowns around the world.
For Chinese, Dragons are believed to bring good luck to people, which is reflected in their qualities that include great power, fertility, wisdom and auspiciousness. The appearance of a dragon is both frightening and bold but it has a benevolent disposition, and so eventually became an emblem to represent imperial authority
Thank you.

Assalamualaikum to everybody. For this session,I want to share with all of you about an afternoon tea.

Afternoon tea is a light meal typically eaten between 3pm and 5pm. It originated in the United Kingdom, though various places that used to be part of the former British Empire also have such a meal. However, changes in social customs and working hours mean that most Britons only take afternoon tea on special/formal occasions.

Traditionally, loose tea would be served in a teapot with milk and sugar. This would be accompanied by various sandwiches, scones and usually cakes and pastries. The food would be often served in a tiered stand.

While afternoon tea used to be an everyday event, nowadays it is more likely to be taken as a treat in a hotel, cafe, or tea shop, although many Britons still have a cup of tea and slice of cake or chocolate at teatime. Accordingly, many hotels now market a champagne cream tea.

I think, that`s all for this session that I can share with you.Thank you for reading.

Assalamualaikum and good day to all of you.
Determination..
Determination is not the absence of obstacles in the road of life. It is not the giving up or giving in that is common on most days. It is not the regression from a task due to fear. It is not the catalyst to see our visions and dreams fulfilled.
Rather..
Determination is the pressing forth, through obstacles in the road of life. It is the breaking through that is not common on most days. It is the progression beyond fear in any task. It is an active ingredient to see our visions and dreams fulfilled.
These and the likes are the core of what determination really is.
Thank you.

Hye everyone...
Do you guys know what is the meaning by cheerleading??

Cheerleading is sport that uses organized routines made from elements of tumbling, dance, jumps and stunting to direct spectators of events to cheer on sports teams at games and matches and/or compete at cheerleading competitions. The athlete involved is called a cheerleader.

With an estimated 1.5 million participants in allstar cheerleading (not including the millions more in high school, college or little league participants) in the United States alone, cheerleading is, according to Newsweek's Arian Campo-Flores, "the most quintessential of American sports."The growing presentation of the sport to a global audience has been led by the 1997 start of broadcasts of cheerleading competition by ESPN International and the worldwide release of the 2000 film Bring it On.

Due in part to this recent exposure, there are now an estimated 100,000 participants scattered around the rest of the world in countries including Australia, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

that's all..
have a nice day..(",)

Assalammualaikum.
Today,I want to talk about family relationship.

You've got aunts, uncles and grandparents down.

"Siblings" is a fancy word we use to mean "brothers and/or sisters".

Your child will be first cousin to your sibling's children, and to your partner's sibling's children.

Your child will be first cousin once removed to the first cousins of your parents and your partner's parents.

Your child will be second cousin to the children of your parent's first cousins, and the children of your partner's parent's first cousins.

"The rest" is infinite, sort of.

Your child will be third, fourth, fifth (. . . on to infinity) cousin of many people; also "Nth" cousin once, twice, three (on to infinity again) times removed of many dead people. His/her relation will go back to the first homo sapiens, or to Noah, or to the first people Changing Woman led out of the underworld, depending on which creation story you believe.

The child, if male, will be grand-nephew, great grand nephew, etc. back to infinity; also 1st great grandson, 2nd great grandson, etc. back to infinity. (Again, "Infinity" here is a mere 75,000.)

You will be daughter-in-law and sister-in-law to his parents and siblings, respectively, if you two get married; otherwise, you are just the woman he slept with for a while, until he found someone else, someone he really wanted to stay with for the rest of his life, and was willing to say so in front of the Lord, his friends and family.

Thank you.

good day...

SCHOOL-AGE children find it hard to be different when being the same brings them acceptance. Everyone has stereotypes imprinted in their minds – the good-looking ones are smart, while the dowdy ones are dumb.

Children need to develop their own sense of self-worth. They need to like themselves for who they are and how they look.

In today’s world, everyone is trying to look like someone they admire or choose to do things which everyone else thinks is cool. Drugs, alcohol and teen sex are making an impact on the lives of children.

It is just as cool to be different when you like yourself. Children regard themselves the way others regard them. When parents keep telling their children that they are good for nothing, they will learn to believe it and become exactly as they are labelled.

When children try their best to keep up with their peers and end up not being accepted, their self-esteem suffers. For some children, it may be a weight problem. For others, it may be their height or awkward appearance.

Children need help in developing a positive self-image. In school, the ones who are timid and have low self-esteem become victims of bullies, while the ones who feel they need to be aggressive and hurtful to get attention and make themselves look good, become the bullies.

Often, in our efforts to be part of a group, we start comparing ourselves to others. In school, children are conditioned to forget their individuality. At home, they are told that they have to be as good as their superior siblings or cousins.

Children should be told that they are unique. When they feel that they are special in some way, other people and circumstances will feel just right.

Before parents can help their children feel confident with their own image, they have to do the same for themselves. Set the right behaviour for children to emulate. Parents do not need to compare their actions with other people. Instead of worrying how other parents would handle a situation, parents can say: “I am doing the best for my children.”

Children are exposed to many sources that form their self-image: television shows, movies, advertisements, magazines, billboards and the people in their lives. By far, the strongest influence on the child’s self-image is the parental self-image.

A child who grows up with a parent who constantly worries about how he or she looks, will also pick up these values and make it her own. She will learn to be like her parent who dismisses her good qualities and constantly make changes to her own physical appearance.

Avoid emphasising on physical appearance. Talking endlessly about matters such as weight, figure, hair and skin may influence your child to consider her own inadequacies. She, too, will learn to be dissatisfied with her own body image.

Parents can talk passionately about other subjects other than appearances. There is no shortage of interesting topics such as world peace, conservation, acts of kindness, scientific discoveries and sports. Children can gain more knowledge and feel encouraged to become more proactive through positive talk.

Appreciate your child’s appearance and interests. Many parents complain that their children are too fat or too thin. Focus on more important things like being healthy and feeling good.

Helping your child to develop an outstanding personality can also make her popular with her peers. If you like the way your child smiles, tell her about it. Be generous with your positive comments and help her to erase any negative self-perception.

Children’s positive behaviours should be highlighted at all times. When children are praised for being kind, thoughtful, hardworking or creative, they learn that these values are far more important than how they look physically.

Assalamualikum and good morning. Every day you eat rice, right. Do you know about the rice?
Rice is a staple food for a large part of the world's human population, especially in tropical Latin America, and East, South and Southeast Asia, making it the second-most consumed cereal grain. Beside that, rice is a traditional food plant in Africa, rice has the potential to improve nutrition, boost food security, foster rural development and support sustainable land care. Rice provides more than one fifth of the calories consumed worldwide by humans. In early 2008, some governments and retailers began rationing supplies of the grain due to fears of a global rice shortage.

Assalamualaikum and good afternoon.
Hari Raya Aidilfitri is for the Muslim festival .During the Muslim month of Ramadan leading up to Hari Raya, it is mandatory for Muslims to fast from dawn to dusk. All Muslims except the young, old or infirm must fast. Many Muslims also abstain from pleasures such as smoking cigarettes during the daylight of the fasting month.

Widely, markets, or 'Ramadan bazaars' are held in many areas around the country, where all sorts of food and kuih — traditional Malay delicacies — are sold for breaking fast or buka puasa. On the eve of Hari Raya, Muslims will recite the takbir, which is held in mosques .

In big cities and towns, shopping malls and commercial centres will hold big promotions and price discounts for festive shoppers as people purchase clothes and supplies. Decorations are hung in public areas and Hari Raya songs will be played in shopping complexes. The media, such as the television will host various programs in conjunction with the celebrations.

Many people also traditionally return to their hometown generally from big metropolitan cities to rural areas. This is known as balik kampung — literally going back to one's home town to celebrate Hari Raya with family and friends. At many times, the flux of vehicles on the roads nationwide increased the number of car accidents, including deadly ones, occurring during the festive season. Road safety campaigns are often launched by the authorities ahead of the festivities in the effort of lowering the discomforting number of accidents.

As defined by Wikipedia "Happiness is a state of mind or feeling such as contentment, satisfaction, pleasure, or joy". We feel happy for a short period of time when someone just bought us a surprise present. We feel happy for a few days or months when we get a great opportunity to excellent in college . Yet life can't be always full of roses and happy surprises.

How can we be happy in life regardless of our circumstances? Here are a few ideas for us to experiment.

~~Count our blessings: Be thankful for what we have in life.

~~Selective memory: Focus on the positive things in our life. Let go hurts, disappointments and mishaps in our past. Often times, we get caught up in our past and stop to enjoy all other pleasures in the present. Keep a list of all good things happened last week, all encouraging or complimentary words said to us. We'll be surprised how much we have missed while we were dwelling on a hurtful feeling resulted from a comment made by a loved one or a colleague.

~~Be a giver: Volunteer in community services and shelters. We will develop a sense of purpose in life and accomplishment. We will also appreciate our life more.

~~Make someone happy: Pick a loved one or a friend as OUR target every week. Focus on how to make that person happy for a whole week. We will see the magic.

~~Love ourself: Do something that we always wanted to do. Look in the mirror every morning and tell ourself how unique and wonderful we are.

And the most important things is be happy don't worry !! Smile always !!

Assalamualaikum and hai everyone,
I want to share my reading with you all.

Actually this matter happened yesterday and I read in the the star.

A 60 years old textile shopowner fought off a robber and managed to shoot him in the foot in Jalan Loke Yew.

In the accident, five men with parangs and axes entered the shop at 4pm and told the owner, staff and customers to surrender their cash.

The robber then ran out and the owner reached for his pump gun and opened fire twice.
The owner's daughter said, one of the robbers charged at his father with an axes. The shop owner was slashed but managed to shoot him, she said. The others robbers fled on their motorcycles.
Police arrested the injured robber. The police will find another robbbers to arrest them.

Actually this story attract me to read because it's remind me about the same case happen in front of me.But it was happened at Gold shop.It is so scary..

The two guys with the guns entered in that shop..that,s time i was shopping in front that gold shop and i can see the robbers. They take all the gold but thankful because they not shoot any people. All the people's there feel shocked and scare to move or to
take action. The customer and staff surrender.I can't see their face because they wear a masks.

After a few minutes the robbers ran out with their motorcycles and immediately the owner of the shop call the polices.

That's was scaring experiences..I thought the robbers will shoot the people like on the tv..many things i think that's time because i feel shocked. That's case happened too fast

Lucky because the polices got to arrested them after received a call from the owner of the shop..

hello.....ijust read article about 'smart things about sleeping late'..

1 You may need more sleep than you think.
Research by Henry Ford Hospital Sleep Disorders Center found that people who slept eight hours and then claimed they were "well rested" actually performed better and were more alert if they slept another two hours. That figures. Until the invention of the lightbulb (damn you, Edison!), the average person slumbered 10 hours a night.
2 Night owls are more creative.
Artists, writers, and coders typically fire on all cylinders by crashing near dawn and awakening at the crack of noon. In one study, "evening people" almost universally slam-dunked a standardized creativity test. Their early-bird brethren struggled for passing scores.
3 Rising early is stressful.
The stress hormone cortisol peaks in your blood around 7 am. So if you get up then, you may experience tension.

Fake Food, Jumpy Kids?
Parents have long suspected that food colorings and preservatives make their kids hyper, so researchers at the University of Southampton, England, decided to investigate.

In a study of artificial colors and the preservative sodium benzoate, some 300 children drank ordinary fruit juice or mixtures spiked with commercial additives equivalent to two to four snack-size bags of candy. Parents, teachers and trained observers graded the kids on overactive, inattentive and impulsive behavior before and after the six-week trial and determined that the additive-laced drinks increased hyperactive behavior by about 10 percent.

Experts disagree on whether that's a significant rise, and more research will help clarify the issue. Still, if your child is hyper, consider removing or limiting additives in her diet (they're found in everything from candy to salad dressing) and see if it makes a difference. A study has revealed the preservative in food that give kids a jolt.

This article is not just for children, but for adults like us too. Try to avoid drinking too much of soft drinks.
