Assalamualaikum,
Have you failed in your exam? What are you feeling? Failure is bad and we have been taught to distance ourselves from failure. Actually, failure is essential to success. Without failing, big breakthroughs or new innovations do not happen.

If we see at the people whose are be success people now, after through the failure. For example,Walt Disney, which was fired from a newspaper early on in his career because he lacked imagination and was not creative. Yet he turned that failure to build one of the most creative companies in the world – Disney.

Why are we not thinking positive at our failure. That's mean, in each failure, we learn valuable lessons. Try to think, what the secret from these failure.

So, as a conclusion, what event is failure, we don't be give up, try be a strong people, and always thinking positive.
Thanks..

Title: Island of the Blue Dolphins
Author: Scott O'Dell

I would like to share about this story "The Island of the Blue Dolphins" to all of you.

The story is about a 12 year old Indian girl named Karana who lives on an island off the coast of California. One day, a group of Aleut sailors come to the island to hunt otter skins. They promise to share the wealth in return for needed supplies. When the dishonest sailors try to sneak off the island without paying, a fight ensues that leave most islanders dead. When the remaining Indians flee, Karana and her little brother, Ramo are left behind and must fend for them.

This story is really good for people that like tales about survival, and are interested in stories with unique settings.
The main character is very believable and the reader finds themselves uplifted by her optimism and gets the feeling that people can survive unlikely situations. The story is also good because the descriptions in the story are easy to visualize.

If you want to Live a Harmonious Living .You must always say less than you think. Cultivate a low, persuasive voice. How you say a thing often counts more than what you say. You also may make promises sparingly and keep them faithfully, no matter what it costs you .Besides that, never let an opportunity pass to say a kind and encouraging word to or about someone. Praise good work done, regardless of who did it. If criticism is needed , criticize helpfully never spitefully. Try not to have a negative spirit if can . You need to preserve an open mind on all debatable questions. Debate, but do not argue. It is a mark of superior minds to disagree and yet be friendly. Let your virtues, If you have any, speak for themselves and refuse to talk of another’s vices, Discourage gossip, Make it a rule to say nothing of another unless it is something good. You must be careful of another’s feelings. Wit and humor at the other fellow’s expense are rarely worth the effort and may hurt where least expected. Pay no attention to ill-natured remarks about you. Simply live that nobody will believe them. Disordered nerves and a bad disgestion are a common cause of backbiting. Lastly, don’t be too anxious about your reward. Do your work, be patient and keep your disposition sweet. Forget self and you will be compensated- sometime, somehow, somewhere.

Everybody in this world have their own family, right? Although there are different family backgrounds between each other, for me family relationship is the major of relationship that is very important in my life rather than love and friends. Who am I if I have nobody in my family? Are we can live in this world without ours parents? Because of that, we should keep our family close, from the time we are children until become adults even we have our own family in the future. Usually, a good person has grown up in a close family with lots of love because parents' attention and love will avoid the teenagers from involved in bad activity outside. So let's keep close with our family and say that you love them from now till our last breath in this world because when a family is built on love, respect and devotion, they will always find a way to be close – if not in body, then in spirit.

It is about Choice !

Much of the recovery process is about choice. It is a choise to do recovery, to go to meetings and work with a sponsor. It is a choice to do readings of recovery material, to have conversations about recovery with others and to assist others in recovery. When we do not take on choice as what it is about, we are attempting to not be in responsibility for something that is happening to us in our life. If we do not acknowledge that we are always making or having a choice in what we experience we will tend to believe that something is happening to us as opposed to us creating or sourcing it into our life. Taking on choice as what it is about is very powerful and keeps us in our responsibility.I agree that we must make a rational choice and this will decide your future...

Top 10 Contributing Factors to Obesity.

If you one part of or would be obesity symptom you must read this.

1. The Gene, GAD2

According to the lead researcher Professor Philippe Froguel (from Imperial College London), obesity is a complex problem, which could not be entirely explained by one factor alone. But he said GAD2 may be responsible for obesity in about one in ten seriously overweight people. However genes do not always predict future health. Genes and behavior may both be needed for a person to be overweight. In some cases multiple genes may increase one’s susceptibility for obesity and require outside factors; such as abundant food supply or little physical activity.

2. Snacks can make people obese and high-wired

A poor diet—to high-calorie foods that are widely available, low in cost, heavily promoted, and good tasting. While such foods are fast and convenient they also tend to be high in fat, sugar, and calories. It is important to read food labels for nutritional information and to eat in moderation.

3. Fast food infiltration in our culture

Anywhere fast food available even 24 hours on. It’s basically everywhere.

4. Lack of physical activity

The remote control, video games, the automobile, television, and to some extent the computer are all part of the environment which discourage people from being physically active. Our bodies need calories for daily functions such as breathing, digestion, and daily activities. Weight gain occurs when calories consumed exceed this need. Physical activity plays a key role in energy balance because it uses up calories consumed.

5. Food has tremendous social meaning

People can feel like they aren’t part of the group if they don’t eat like everybody else does. Food also has personal meaning. It can be a person’s best friend, and it allows some people to numb out from a difficult world.

6. Energy imbalance

When the number of calories consumed is not equal to the number of calories used. Energy Balance is like a scale. When calories consumed are greater than calories used weight gain results.

Weight Gain:
Calories Consumed > Calories Used

Weight Loss:
Calories Consumed < Calories Used

No Weight Change:
Calories Consumed = Calories Used

7. Larger Portion sizes

People may be eating more during a meal or snack because of larger portion sizes. This results in increased calorie consumption. If the body does not burn off the extra calories consumed from larger portions, fast food, or soft drinks, weight gain can occur.

8. Diseases and Drugs

Some illnesses may lead to obesity or weight gain. These may include Cushing's disease, hypothyroidism, depression and polycystic ovary syndrome. Drugs such as steroids and some antidepressants may also cause weight gain. Also, drugs such as steroids and some antidepressants may cause weight gain

9. Negative Emotions

Many people eat in response to negative emotions such as boredom, sadness, or anger. It has been observed that women with the most severe binge eating problems are also likely to have symptoms of depression and low self-esteem. During a binge eating episode, people eat large amounts of food and feel that they cannot control how much they are eating.

10. Early menarche

Early menarche is clearly associated with degree of overweight, with a twofold increase in rate of early menarche associated with BMI greater than the 85th percentile.

So are you have any factor that I mention. So beware.....

OVEN

Hi, today I would like to share you about oven. Why I choose oven as my topic. It is because cooking is a daily activity for human being. So we could not avoid cooking and eating. That why I choose oven in purpose because without oven they will be no food such as bread or “ayam panggang”.
An oven is an enclosed compartment for heating, baking or drying. It is most commonly used in cooking and pottery. Ovens used in pottery are also known as kilns. In the past, cooking ovens were fueled by wood or coal. Modern ovens are fueled by gas or electricity. Ovens usually can use a variety of methods to cook. The most common may be to heat the oven from below. This is commonly used for baking and roasting. The oven may also be able to heat from the top to provide broiling. Convection ovens use a small fan to blow hot air around the cooking chamber. More modern ovens, such as General Electric's Trivection oven, may also provide combined thermal and microwave cooking. This can greatly speed the cooking of certain types of food while maintaining the traditional characteristics of oven cooking such as browning.

5 Foods U Should NEVER Eat!

There will always be those fattening foods that are easy to make, easy to get, and easy to crave. You think 'OK, I know this is bad but it can't be that bad!' Think again. Here are the top seven foods you should never ever feed your family or yourself!

1.Doughnuts

According to the Krispy Kreme website, an average 3.5 ounce sugar doughnut weighs in with about 400 calories and contains few other nutrients besides fat. These sugary treats may satisfy your craving but it won't satisfy your hunger as most of the calories come from fat.Eating a lot of refined sugar contributes to blood sugar 'swings' or extreme fluctuations

2. Cheeseburger with fries
The age-old classic may be delicious but think twice before sinking your teeth into that Big Mac. The saturated fat found in cheese burgers has been linked to heart attacks, strokes and some types of cancer.

3. Fried Chicken and Chicken Nuggets
Foods cooked in highly heated oils (most notably partially hydrogenated oil) have been known to cause cancer, weight gain and other serious health risks if ingested regularly. A 10-piece chicken McNugget from McDonald's has 420 calories, 24 grams of fat and 1120 milligrams of sodium. One Extra Crispy Chicken Breast from KFC has around 420 calories and eight grams of saturated fat. So unless you want to super size yourself, it's best to make a clean break with fried foods.

4. Oscar Mayer's Lunchables
Sure they are convenient and easy, but boy are they unhealthy! These kid-marketed lunches are loaded with saturated fat and sodium. They usually contain highly processed meats and cheeses, white flour crackers and sugary treats. Lunchables get two-thirds of their calories from fat and sugar. And they provide lopsided nutrition since they contain no fruits or vegetables.

5. Sugary Cereal
Most kids' cereals are so highly processed they no longer look like the grains they were originally made from. A healthy alternative is oatmeal. Although, if you are buying pre-packaged oatmeal make sure to check the label and see how much sugar it contains, you might be surprised.

Werewolves, also known as lycanthropes, are mythological or folkloric humans with the ability to shapeshift into wolves or wolf-like creatures, either purposely, being bitten by another werewolf or after being placed under a curse. This transformation is often associated with the appearance of the full moon, as popularly noted by the medieval chronicler Gervase of Tilbury, although it may have been recognized in earlier times among the ancient Greeks through the writings of Petronius. Werewolves are often granted extra-human strength and senses, far beyond those of both wolves or men. The werewolf is generally held as a European character, although its lore spread through the world in later times. Shape-shifters, similar to werewolves, are common in tales from all over the world, most notably amongst the American Indians, though most of them involve animal forms other than wolves.

Werewolves are a frequent subject of modern fictional books and films, although fictional werewolves have been attributed traits distinct from those of original folklore, most notably the vulnerability to silver bullets. Werewolves continue to endure in modern culture and fiction, with books, films and television shows cementing the werewolf's stance as a dominant figure in horror.

COMMENT :
Ok, i admit that i'm quite into legendary beings. Werewolf, another impressive being. At first, i thought werewolves are born to be werewolf. But after reading articles from wikipedia, i know that a normal human can choose to be a werewolf through some methods. Eventhough i still dont quite understand why normal humans are seeking ways to be a monster like werewolfs.

Assalamualaikum..

Do you find yourself overwhelmed by the number and complexity of projects you have that need to be completed at work each day? Do you often feel the day flies by without your devoting the necessary attention to each assignment because other tasks keep landing on your desk, co-workers interrupt you with questions or you can't get it all organized?

You probably know that effective time management will help you get more done each day. It has important health benefits, too. By managing your time more wisely, you can minimize stress and improve your quality of life.

But how do you get back on track when organizational skills don't come naturally? To get started, choose one of these strategies, try it for two to four weeks and see if it helps. If it does, consider adding another one. If not, try a different one.

1. Plan each day. Planning your day can help you accomplish more and feel more in control of your life. Write a to-do list, putting the most important tasks at the top. Keep a schedule of your daily activities to minimize conflicts and last-minute rushes.
2. Prioritize your tasks. Time-consuming but relatively unimportant tasks can consume a lot of your day. Prioritizing tasks will ensure that you spend your time and energy on those that are truly important to you.
3. Say no to nonessential tasks. Consider your goals and schedule before agreeing to take on additional work.
4. Delegate. Take a look at your to-do list and consider what you can pass on to someone else.
5. Take the time you need to do a quality job. Doing work right the first time may take more time upfront, but errors usually result in time spent making corrections, which takes more time overall.
6. Break large, time-consuming tasks into smaller tasks. Work on them a few minutes at a time until you get them all done.
7. Practice the 10-minute rule. Work on a dreaded task for 10minutes each day. Once you get started, you may find you can finish it.

Lose body fat

Are you ready to lose body fat and keep it off for good? Are you ready to stop wasting your time with all those gimmick diets? The good news for you is that you are able to lose your body fat and never have to sacrifice the foods you love. The secret for you to lose body fat is not about dieting. It is about changing the way you eat. More and more people are finally understanding that some of the simplest changes in their eating habits will allow them to lose weight while still enjoying all the foods they love. What you want to do is learn WHEN to eat. Learning when to eat is far more important then what to eat. Your body will process foods differently according to the time of day you eat. There are some foods you want to eat early while some foods are completely safe to eat late at night. By learning when to eat, you will never have to sacrifice all the foods you love. Since you don't have to sacrifice the foods you love, you will be able keep the weight off for good. The other thing you will need to learn is moderation. Remember that you are where you are because you ate those "bad" foods to often. Just because you can eat them does not mean you can eat them all the time. So start learning when to eat all those foods you love. Lose body fat today and keep it off tomorrow. Yeah!

I don’t know what must I write now, but when I went back to my room I saw my roommate watching a japans drama. The title of the drama is “one little of tear”. This drama is about one girl that suffers in spinocerebellar degeneration disease. This story gives me idea to talk about this disease. This disease are incurable disease and people are getting in this are unlucky person because these disease can’t cured. The symptom for these diseases is slowly progressive incoordination of gait and often associated with poor coordination of hands, speech, and eye movements. A person with this disease retains full mental capacity but may progressively lose physical control. I also watch that drama, and the symptoms are same with my reading in the internet. The girl name “aya” before she get the diseases she is a active person in sport and she is a smart student in that school. But when she gets the diseases slowly she cannot walk properly and after a few times she used a wheelchair to go to school and anywhere. Other symptom cannot hold heavy thing and she can’t write properly. But I don’t know the ending of this story because this drama is series and have long episode. For now I just watch 7 episodes from 11 episodes.
That all from me, thanks

Air force? I like that.. Do you like air force...?
Ok, Now i talk about air force.
An air force, also known in some countries as an air army or historically an army air corps , is in the broadest sense, the national military or armed service that primarily conducts aerial warfare. The term "air force" may also refer to a tactical air force or numbered air force, which is an operational formation within a national air force. Air forces typically consist of a combination of fighters, bombers, helicopters, transport planes and other aircraft. Many air forces are also responsible for operations of military space, intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM), and communications equipment. Some air forces may command and control other air-defense assets such as antiaircraft artillery, surface-to-air missiles, or anti-ballistic missile warning networks and defensive systems.
A common misconception people have of many air forces is that all military personnel within that branch only fly planes, which is obviously false. As an organization, the air forces have what one would call "ground support" to support the pilots and aircrew. Similar to any civilian organization, there are supporting employees who assist or support key employees. Pilots cannot exist on their own without the assistance of other key military personnel, such as civil engineers, loadmasters, fuels, and mechanics, etc.

Ok! thank you..

FRIEND VERSUS LOVE

who are most important?friend or love?for me,i just can't simply choose between these two..because they are really important in my life..i need my friends and i also need my love..the similarities of these two 'creatures' are,it's hard to find the real one,the understanding one,the suitable one,the acceptable one..these two relationships bring same efforts, same sacrifications and others.friend should be a good listener as well as the lover..real friend stands along with us up and down same goes to the real lover..friend can accept us for what we are not for what we hve, same to the lover.so,we should not choose between love or friends.be wise in your actions and be fair and square~

Exams are terrible stress causers, whether it be high-school or college. The key to doing well on an exam is to, obviously, study hard and well, but also to study in the proper manner so that your studying experience will show results.

1. Create a calendar starting exactly one month before the exams are scheduled to start.
2. Make friends that strive for good exam grades, just as you do. With friends who care about school, you'll find that you will have someone to study with without getting distracted.
3. Listen attentively in class before exams.
4. Noticing your teachers lesson plans will help you realize the topics that are really important and that are likely to show up on the test.
5. Take notes - have at least four blank pages ready before each class during the weeks leading up to exams, if you still don't understand something, ask someone,
6. Don't just go through your notes, rewrite them.
7. Don't study when you're really tired
8. Don't stress, if you can figure out how you study best.
9. Get a massage
10. Don't study too hard during exam week
11. Eat breakfast. Midmorning hunger is an awful distraction.
12. Cheating won't solve anything
13. Getting good grades will motivate you to study and achieve more.

X-RAYS

X-rays are used to detect any fracture in the human body, and also in the security checks to check for any weapons. The use of X-rays are limited as they are harmful to the human body causing disintegration of DNA and hence cancers may be precipitated. Terahertz rays or T-rays are considered harmless, that is, they do not predispose the human body to cancers and hence can be used freely. This benefit also applies at the security checks at any airports or public places where T-rays would reflect on any weapons and can be detected easily. For that matter, T-rays have an additional benefit of detecting even plastic objects which often go undetected in X-ray. Sciensists also claim that T-rays can tell the material of the item which is reflected, as it uses a technique called spectroscopy. In this new technology, every item would be reflected in a different color, so making out a particular item as harmful is easy.

T- rays are not required to be used close to the scanned item, as in the case of X-rays. It can be safely kept at a distance and scanning is done. A lot of research is going on to enhance the capacity of T-rays to use the spectroscopy at a distance.
The possibilities of T-rays are several. They can be used in the pharmacology industry to aid in detection of the contents of the medicines, used to detect tumors in a human body, aid in detecting any defect in the machines. These are just a few of the benefits.
Taking calcium supplements during pregnancy reduces a woman's blood levels of lead, and thus the danger that her fetus will be exposed to the toxic metal, new research conducted in Mexico shows.

"You could actually see the more a person took, the more their blood levels went down," Dr. Adrienne S. Ettinger of the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, who helped conduct the study, told Reuters Health.

RETAINING WALL

Retaining wall was function to retain the soil at a slope that is greater than it would naturally assume, usually at a vertical or near vertical position. There was a lot of type retaining wall but all the function was still same. To ensure the retaining wall was safe and work properly, as an engineer the correct calculation plus environment study must occurred. It was to prevent to overturning, sliding, the soil on which the wall rests mustn’t be overloaded and the material used in construction are not overstressed. Many slope fail causing of failing calculation and wrong mixed in retaining wall. Effect of that was a little disaster and might take a life. Actually the slope or retaining wall failed wasn’t fully causing by fail calculation by an engineers. Have you seen a stingray? I’m sure part of you had eaten the stingray. The most popular story about stingray is the crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin died from a stingray barb at the Great Barrier Reef in 2006. For this year, one more amazing story about stingray appear. The Thailand have captured one of the massive female stingray was part of a program to tag such Maeklong River residents. The captive, part of a "vulnerable species" listed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, measured a hefty 7 feet by 7 feet. That doesn't include the 10-foot-long poisonous tail. It took 90 minutes for one British biologist (with help) to reel in the freshwater fish. It also took 13 men to drag said fish onto a boat. The stingray’s weight is 125 pounds—that's the difference between the stingray's weight at 771 pounds and the previous record rod-&-reel capture of a catfish. They said that one of the factor which make the stingray size is so huge is the female stingray is pregnant. After she had been towed to the bank (too big to be onboard the boat), she was duly marked, had DNA samples removed, and returned to the river whence she unwillingly came. Welch gave her a farewell smooch, then spent the rest of the day with a cold beer and memories of her. Thank god that they had released the stingray back to the river.
