Lion dance is a form of traditional dance in Chinese culture, in which performers mimic a lion's movements in a lion costume. The lion dance originated in India or China and they can be group into the Northern style lion dance and the Southern Cantonese style lion dance.
For the northern style lion dance, they have long and shaggy orange and yellow hair with either a red bow, or a green bow on its head to represent a male or female. Most of the time they are in pairs. but for the southern style lion dance, the lion are the horned lions are believed to be Nians. The lion dance has close relations to kung fu and the dancers are usually members of the local kung fu club. They practice in their club and some train hard to master the skill.

Assalamualaikum to everybody.I hope all of you are in the best of health. For this session,I want to share with you about a television.

Television is a widely used telecommunication medium for transmitting and receiving moving images, either monochromatic ("black and white") or color, usually accompanied by sound. "Television" may also refer specifically to a television set, television programming or television transmission.

Commercially available since the late 1930s, the television set has become a common communications receiver in homes, businesses and institutions, particularly as a source of entertainment and news. Since the 1970s the availability of video cassettes, laserdiscs, DVDs and now Blu-ray discs, have resulted in the television set frequently being used for viewing recorded as well as broadcast material.

A standard television set comprises multiple internal electronic circuits, including those for tuning and decoding broadcast signals. A display device which lacks a tuner is properly called a monitor, rather than a television. A television system may use different technical standards such as digital television (DTV) and high-definition television (HDTV). Television systems are also used for surveillance, industrial process control, and guiding of weapons, in places where direct observation is difficult or dangerous.

I think, that`s all for this session that I can share with you.Thank you for reading.

A firecracker

A firecracker (also known as a cracker, noise maker, banger or bunger) is a small explosive device primarily designed to produce a large amount of noise, especially in the form of a loud bang; any visual effect is incidental to this goal. They have fuses, and are wrapped in heavy paper casing, to contain the explosive compound. Firecrackers, along with fireworks are now thought to have originated in China.

comment:
firecracker as known as fireworks was originated from China. in our country, firecracker has been illegal by the rules of Malaysia. this is because of several cases that make bad effect for citizens such as cause injury, make people bcome suffering from physical disability and also cause dead. i'm lucky bcause i had no injury although i had been playing that firecracker before this. for Malay culture, many people play with firecracker during Eid Mubarak same goes to Chinese culture. but for Chinese culture, only their own firecracker is allowed because of their tradition during Chinese New Year. i am very agree with government's effort by illegal citizen from play with firecracker because there are many bad effect than good effect.

Assalamualaikum and a pleasant day to all of you.

The most valuable gift, the Smile.
It is such a beautiful thing, isn't it? You smile and the world smiles with you. A smile makes complicated things simple. It makes beautiful things seem more beautiful. Smile. Yes, that is the magical word, that is the feeling I am talking about.
We think we become poor only when we lose all the money in the world but it is not true at all. We grow poorer when we lose our smiles, we grow poorer when we lose our laughter. Our smiles are the sign of our well-being and our laughter indicates when we are in perfect harmony with our innerselves and the outside world.
No matter what we have, no matter what we lose, no matter what the world gives us or no matter what we can give to this world, we can all give each other a warm smile, a true gesture of kindness and humbleness. Please remember, it costs nothing to give a smile and giving away smiles will surround you in a world of smiling faces instead of a strange world of strangers.

Thank you.

Today,I want to share with you about what are main reasons not to go for animal testing.

From the development of the polio vaccine to more recent medical discoveries, we are all thankful for the medical field's constant innovations.

Medical professionals must have a thorough understanding of human anatomy, and the anatomy of a dog or a pig is very different from that of a human. High-tech human patient simulators and other human-centered teaching methods allow students to learn how to treat acute trauma injuries on a that duplicates human anatomy. With these superior alternatives, medical professionals can repeatedly practice critical emergency procedures without harming animals.
TraumaMan is an anatomical human body mannequin designed specifically for use in ATLS courses. In a 2002 study, ATLS course participants found TraumaMan to be superior to animal s for many of the procedures taught in the course.
It is indefensible for AMC's trauma training program to continue using and animals when more effective training methods are approved and widely available. It's time for AMC to join the rest of New York and replace live animal use with better, more humane training methods.

Thank you.

good day..

Unity and Malaysian friendships are based on respect, honesty and the like, but it is not easy to be politically correct and sensitive at all times.

AN OPINION editorial written by Murad Ahmed in The London Times caught my eye and sparked this week’s piece. Ahmed had recounted the good Prince Harry’s politically incorrect blunder when he called a colleague a “Paki”.

Ahmed stated: “Paki’ is a word from a different age – one that would be spat out just before an Asian received a swift Doc Marten boot to the head.

“It was more often heard in the phrase ‘Go home, Paki’ than ‘My Paki friend’. It was intended to be a form of violence and intimidation towards immigrants who had come to these shores from the Indian subcontinent. It became, through its very use, racist.

“To put it politely, anyone who thinks that the word ‘Paki’ is acceptable is unaware of this sordid history or unable to understand its significance. Put another way, if you think that it’s all right to call someone a ‘Paki’ you’re ignorant or stupid.

“See how using words in a certain way can come across as insulting or cruel? That’s the point. Words are powerful, and we should take care how we use them.”

You may not want to admit to it, but we practise the language of bigotry right here in Malaysia.

I have been told many times by friends of every race that when they call or joke with friends using terms like ‘Melayu’, ‘Cine’ ‘Keling’ ‘Dayak’ and so forth, it was only in jest and comradeship.

“But, we’re Malaysians. We have a rude sense of humour. We insult each other all the time and it means nothing!”

Perhaps, in print, words look rather still and motionless. But language is not just alphabets of a person’s ethnic community; language is sound. Phonetics, linguistics and pronunciation.

An example. Say the word ‘Melayu’ devoid of feelings and history. It remains that: just a word and sound.

Add the following context to the word ‘Melayu’. What ‘Melayu’ means – a race and its rich history – and another meaning, which is, to wilt.

Add emotions to the word ‘Melayu’: sadness. Anger. Happiness. Joy. The word ‘Melayu’ now takes on a different meaning to the reader and listener.

Now try that with words like ‘Apek’. ‘Keling’. ‘Orang Hutan’. These are not words of love. These are words uttered to hurt.

The God honest truth is it is not easy to be politically correct and sensitive at all times. In a rage, or behind closed doors and with like-minded sympathetic souls, we confess how terrible or good the Malays/Chinese/Indians are.

This is the reality we live in. How many of us are truly magnanimous? We tell each other the truths which may not sit very well with our neighbours and friends that we meet and socialise with, and put up a façade of liberal and open views.

But it is leading double lives that will destroy us, as we whisper and promote bigotry.

When we do try to mend fences, meet halfway, we are defeated by insurmountable barriers such as religious conversion, fraught inter-racial relationships, and glass ceilings that cannot be broken.

But no, I am reminded all the time, all of us do have friends of all races. See, I have three Indian friends and one Malay friend. See?

Perhaps I am simplistic. Unity and Malaysian friendships are not based on how many friends of each race we have, know and work with.

You do not have a token Malay friend, for the sake of looking liberal and being oh-so-open-minded.

Allow me to quote writer Leslie Lau: “Unity cannot be taught in classrooms.” Nor at work. Not even home.

Seeing ourselves and others as human beings who share the same values, dreams, have to be encouraged by our parents, and we ourselves. We are not frogs living under coconut shells, so to speak.

The thing with race in this country is that it is not about equal numbers of a community in class or at work. Giving scholarships to deserving non-Malays will definitely make their lives better, but will it enhance inter-racial relationships with the Malays? Or anyone for that matter?

In our bid to be correct, we sensitise ourselves so much to the real issue that we not see the forest for the trees. Perhaps it’s time that we admit to ourselves that while we are all Malaysians, we are different. And it is accepting our differences that we find commonalities with each other.

I receive many emails from readers. When it comes to race, there is anger, bitterness and sadness. When I do communicate with some of the readers to say that not all Malaysians are what they think, more vitriol is hurled.

It is this anger, and the language used, that will be inherited by the younger generation. Is this what we want?

The first thing we need to do to heal is to stop using language as a tool of hatred. Then we can begin on the rest later. We must also remember that we, to quote Malcom Gladwell, “… are not prisoners of our ethnic histories”.

thank you..

Hi everybody..today I want to share with you a little bit signs and symptoms of diabetes:
Many of the signs of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes are similar. In both, there is too much glucose in the blood and not enough in the cells of your body. High glucose levels in Type I are due to a lack of insulin because the insulin producing cells have been destroyed. Type 2 diabetes occurs when the body's cells become resistant to insulin that is being produced. Either way, your cells aren't getting the glucose that they need, and your body lets you know by giving you these signs and symptoms.
Please take care of your health!

Today,I want to talk about my favourite food.

I love Shrimp scampi over a bed of linguine, homemade of course. I start with 3 cups of chardonnay in a good sized saute pan, then I add a stick of unsalted butter. When it just starts to bubble I add three cloves of garlic crushed, some fresh basil and parsley and then 4 tablespoons of fresh grated romano cheese. Just when the cheese starts to melt I add the shrimp and cook until they are that perfect lovely orange. I pour the whole mixtue over a bed of linguine and serve with more fresh grated romano cheese. That is my favorite!

Thank You

Assalamualikum and good morning everyone.
In Malaysia, we go to the school when 7 years old at primary school. After that, we continue 5 years in secondary school. What the function of the school. Firstly, of course as a place to collect knowledge about life and education. Also to keep the discipline. Forms of discipline, such as control over when students will and will not speak, and normalized behavior, such as raising one's hand to speak, are imposed in the name of greater efficiency. Practitioners of critical pedagogy point out that such disciplinary measures have no positive effect on student learning; indeed, some would argue that disciplinary practices actually detract from learning since they undermine students' individual dignity and sense of self-worth, the latter occupying a more primary role in students' hierarchy of needs.

Today my article is about the thoughtful expression of being thankful. With everything that goes on around us and abroad, it is just good to be thankful. The destiny and fate of so many loss lives to devastation and unexpected circumstance, just make we stop and be thankful. We would think with all the great blessing of a democratic nation or a democracy based on freedom; consequently, thanks is something we do not have to think about. However, the time has come that our countries and the history of our nationalities are proven to be questionable for our fate. Our cause to a belief is troubled by what may happen without any warning. We tip around certain species of forbidden truth to protect our homage and we dare not tress pass into unknown territories. Therefore, we have to be 'Thankful' for we know not the sanity of the mind or the future of our inhabitants. A daily inherited living within 24 hours without any harm or danger is something to be 'thankful' for. The troublesome power of the mind and the belief that engulf our minds, make us live daily to be 'thankful'. We do not want to deal or puncture the soul and demeanor of others but we want to live in harmony and peace. So, we have to be thankful no matter how hard it seem to understand because our daily life and activities rest on our fate and the imaginary minds that we do not understand in which direction it will go or the fate of the rebate at state.

So we just need be thankful and don't worry be happy !!

Assalamualaikum...today i want to share with you guys about carbonated drink effects.

Sugar is the problem, for taste it is in soda.
The body resists the attack from sugar by
producing insulin. Now, how teeth decay is another issue.Plaque forms in the mouth and on the teeth. Sugar reacts with the
bacteria in the mouth and plaque and produces a low degree acid. The acid
attacks the enamel covering the tooth, usually the crevices and seams have a
thinner enamel. Once there is a break in the enamel, the bacteria attacks
the rest of the tooth, eventually producing the decay. It also is possible
to be attacked through the gums, which can get into the body and root of the
tooth.
Carbohydrates, have carbon and hence an ingredient in sugar, so thing like
bananas have a lot of sugar. Brush your teeth to remove the plaque and stay
away from sugar.

Assalamualaikum to all my friends,

Today i want to share to all of you about video game. Actually, everyone in this world like to playing video game and some case have become “crazy” and something like that. Especially to teenager in this in century, they almost like to play video game and some extremly activities. Let i tell you more about this game.

A video game is an electronic game that involves interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device. The word video in video game traditionally referred to a raster display device. However, with the popular use of the term "video game", it now implies any type of display device. The electronic systems used to play video games are known as platforms. Examples of these are personal computers and video game consoles. These platforms are broad in range, from large computers to small handheld devices. Specialized video games such as arcade games, while previously common, have gradually declined in use.

The input device normally used to manipulate video games is called a game controller, which varies across platforms. For instance, a dedicated console controller might consist of only a button and a joystick, or feature a dozen buttons and one or more joysticks. Early personal computer based games historically relied on the availability of a keyboard for gameplay, or more commonly, required the user to purchase a separate joystick with at least one button to play. Many modern computer games allow the player to use a keyboard and mouse simultaneously.

Beyond the common element of visual feedback, video games have utilized other systems to provide interaction and information to the player. Chief examples of these are sound reproduction devices, such as speakers and headphones, and an array of haptic peripherals, such as vibration force feedback.

So, playing video game is the most interesting activities that can fill your leisure time. But this activities have a advantage and disadvantage. We as a student must know how choose a suitable time to playing it. Don’t waste your time with it because can make you slack and become crazy in playing it. Therefore, it will effect your study time and exam result as a university students.

Well, think about it and choose the right time when to play video game......

the end...

Assalamualaikum and hello to everyone. For the previous entry i'm share with all of you the tips how to care the orchids plants. In this entry,i would like to share the tips on how to care cactus plants.Cactus also is my favourite plants because it is unique and essay to care. Here the tips that all of you can practice to care your cactus plants. For your information, cactus is a plant that has many sharp spines as aleaves and stems that store water. So,cactus needs sun, warmthness, and dryness. However if the summer becomes very hots, water your cactus plants when the soil becomes bone-dry.if during the winter, when the plant is dormant, keep it cool and water it less. Over watering can cause rot.Like i said above, cactus need sunlight and well drain soil Water a cactus garden only when the soil is dry, but then water it thoroughly. Fertilization isn't necessary. Pot a cactus in 1 part coarse sand or perlite and 2 parts peat or potting mix.
Wrap newspaper around it so you can handle the plant.
If the roots start filling the pot, then re-pot.Never dig a cacti from wild areas; because in most states it is illegal, and they are less likely to survive than nursery plants are.
Cacti can be grown from cuttings, seeds, offsets, and divisions.

Thank you.That is all.
