Is Global Warming Already Happening?

YES. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concluded in its Third Assessment Report, “An increasing body of observations gives a collective picture of a warming world and other changes in the climate system.”
The kinds of changes already observed that create this consistent picture include the following:

Examples of observed climatic changes
•Increase in global average surface temperature of about 1 F in the 20th century
•Decrease of snow cover and sea ice extent and the retreat of mountain glaciers in the latter half of the 20th century
•Rise in global average sea level and the increase in ocean water temperatures
•Likely increase in average precipitation over the middle and high latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere and over tropical land areas
•Increase in the frequency of extreme precipitation events in some regions of the world

Examples of observed physical and ecological changes
•Thawing of permafrost
•Lengthening of the growing season in middle and high latitudes
•Poleward and upward shift of plant and animal ranges
•Decline of some plant and animal species
•Earlier flowering of trees
•Earlier emergence of insects
•Earlier egg-laying in birds

Did you know about lipstick?
Lipstick is a cosmetic product containing pigments, oils, waxes, and emollients that applies color and texture to the lips. The wax gives lipstick its shape and ease of application. The oils and fats used in lipstick include olive oil, mineral oil, cocoa butter, lanolin, and petrolatum. More than 50% of lipsticks manufactured in the U.S. contain substantial amounts of oil. It forms a tough, shiny film when it dries after application. However, ingestion of large amounts of oil may cause frequent rest-room visits. From what I understand, making lipstick is similar to making crayons.Simply put, the mixture is finely ground, and the waxes are added for texture and to maintain stiffness. Oils and lanolin are added for specific formula requirements. The hot liquid is then poured into cold metal molds where it solidifies and is further chilled. The formed lipstick is put through a flame for about half a second to create a smooth and glossy finish and to remove imperfections.

That's all about lipstick.

This article is about wireless router options aplenty. With a variety of wireless routers in the market, both the older generation 802.11g and the newer 802.11n-compliment ones from familiar brands, prices have never been more affordable. The 802.11g routers basically increase the power transmission using a combination of triple antennas, known as Multiple Input, Multiple Output. While the 802.11n-compliment options use two antennas.
The 802.11n routers might to consider the Linksys WRT-300N which the price at RM410. It seems too performed well within the Linksys 802.11n family and about average for the 802.11 b/g protocol. The 802.11b being the first-generation protocol. On the other hand, the 802.11g routers can still be first choices. The entire three routers provide 54 megabits per second of output and four wired Ethernet ports.
The pocket routers run “hotter” and have a shorter lifespan than their regular sized cousins used for travelling. It make from Linksys, which sells at RM 170. Lastly, whichever brand that was choose, as long as the setup procedures are followed, most routers should give the users’ years of trouble-free usage.

CHEMICALS CAN FINGER CROOKS

For more than a century, detectives have linked suspects to crime scenes using fingerprints. And now it turns out that those arches, loops and whorls can tell us so much more. A chemical residue that makes up a print pattern contains untapped information of its own. It can tell whether the person who left the print had recent contact with drugs, explosive, gunpowder or other illicit substances. And it might be able to reveal the diet of the person and possibly even the gender. A new technique had been develop by scientist involves lifting of fingerprints with a special gelatin tape and then using infrared spectroscopy to analyze the print's chemical content. Infrared rays irradiate the print to produce "chemical image" of its components. The "chemical image" can currently detect evidence of narcotics, explosives, or chemical or biological weapons.

I would like to share what about I have done read just now, Say No to Imposers, from Reader’s Digest edition June 2008. Here’s some advice, it can be tough to compose yourself when others impose.
• “Neither a borrower nor a lender be,” wrote Shakespeare. Tell that to your cousin Joe, who needs $200 because he’s behind in the rent again. When it comes to lending money, be firm. If the amount is excessive, or you’re uncomfortable lending at all, say so. If you do lend, clarify when you except the money back and how (for example, lump sum or instalments).
• When people borrow items (such as your drill), borrow something from them, too, (like a saw) and suggest the merits of this “exchange programmer.” They’ll either agree or stop borrowing.
• People who tell you what to wear or how to fix up your house can seem pushy, but they may simply have overdosed on makeover shows. Thank them for their ideas and keep doing as you darn well please.
• When subtle (such as “I have to get up early”) doesn’t work, be direct with guests who won’t leave. Etiquette columnists Judith Martin suggest acting as if you’re the one leaving. Get up, say, “ It was wonderful having you here, must to do this again,” and remain standing. They’ll get the hint.

Most of the male student know about motorcycle and female don't know. So,in this entry i would like to share a little bit about it.

Some people are building motorcycles from scratch by buying aftermarket motorcycle accessories, including an engine and frame, and then bolting them all together. Now, this can be expensive and will take skill, patience, and considerable effort, but there are many people and business that do this.

Motorcycle Luggage - this can be tricky because it can change the entire look of your motorcycle. It can also adversely alter your bike’s handling. Read the instructions that come with the motorcycle and that come with the bags.

Motorcycle Windshields - Ride in comfort with protection from wind on the highway with a windscreen on your motorcycle. There are many styles, colors, and shapes available to fit many different motorcycles. Several windshields are adjustable. Putting it on will add a nice custom touch if done tastefully. Be careful about how you clean it!

Seat / Back Rest - You have to be comfortable to be safe riding. Some seats are for lowing the bike so that your feet are more stable on the ground when you stop. Some make the bike look better than factory and lend a custom touch. I like the removable back rests, since usually there is no one on the back. A small, padded backrest can add a nice touch.

Auxiliary Lights - Not only can good lighting make a cool bike look even cooler, it could just save your life. Make sure your bike’s electrical system can put out enough juice to power whatever extra lights you want to add. If your not sure, check with your local dealer. You might be able to upgrade your alternator if your stock one won’t handle the job.

History of Chocolate
Since Miss Sarah wants us to complete the essay about compare and contrast of chocolate manufacturer, I would like to bring here the history of chocolate. I’m sure that we do love chocolate, but we don’t really know the origin of the chocolate. The ancient Maya and Aztec civilizations in Central America are the first to enjoy the taste of 'chocolatl’ which is a spicy drink made from roasted cocoa beans. The Aztecs called this drink Xocolatl, the Spanish conquistadors found this almost impossible to pronounce and so corrupted it to the easier 'Chocolat', the English further changed this to Chocolate. When it was brought to Europe, they mixing the ground roasted beans with sugar and vanilla, thus offsetting the spicy bitterness of the brew the Aztec's drank. Later, the Spanish has made the Cocoa beverage (made from the powder). But then, when the English bakers started to adding cocoa powder to cakes in the mid 1600', the chocolate has being eaten in solid form. Chocolate as we know it today first appeared in 1847 when Fry & Sons of Bristol, England - mixed Sugar with Cocoa Powder and Cocoa Butter to produce the first solid chocolate bar then, in 1875 a Swiss manufacturer, Daniel Peters, found a way to combine cocoa powder and cocoa butter with sugar and dried milk powder to produce the first milk chocolate.

In this comment, I would like to share about 'Origami'.

Origami from 'oru' meaning "folding", and 'kami' meaning "paper") is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding. The goal of this art is to create a representation of an object using geometric folds and crease patterns preferably without the use of gluing or cutting the paper, and using only one piece of paper.

There is much speculation as to the origin of origami. It is safe to say that most of its development occurred in Japan; however, there have also been less developed (but independent) paperfolding traditions in China, Germany, and Spain, among other places.

This is some of the history.

Origami had already become a significant aspect of Japanese ceremony by the Heian period of Japanese history. Samurai warriors would exchange gifts adorned with noshi, a sort of good luck token made of folded strips of paper.

I read that the origami butterflies were used during the celebration of Shinto weddings to represent the bride and groom.
Origami only uses a small number of different folds, but they can be combined in a variety of ways to make intricate designs. The most well known form is probably the Japanese paper crane.

So, I had the experience of doing this Origami. The "bird" .
I really hope that after this everyone will know how to this 'origami'.

Good Luck!

Today I have read an article about stealth aircraft. I have a friend that like to have this stealth aircraft. His ambition is want to be a pilot. So, he had some knowledge about the stealth aircraft because he always serves about it in internet. Stealth aircraft use stealth technology to make it harder to be detected by radar. Conventional aircraft by employing a combination of features to reduce visibility in the visual, audio, infrared and radio frequency spectrum. At the end of World War II, they were first developed by the Germans. Stealth is accomplished by using a complex design philosophy to reduce the ability of an opponent's sensors to detect, track and attack an aircraft.

Hahahaa....Hohohoho...Hahahaha!!! [GROUP GIGGLING
This article that I had read in "Reader's Digest" book, it told me about the group giggling. They say that, "LAUGHTER IS GOOD MEDICINE," and now many people are getting a regular dose without any humuor. Members of laughter clubs have discovered that simulated laughter can quickly turn into giggles, then side-splitting guf- faws-benefiting mind, body and spirit. In group laughter, it's not the content that matters. You can laugh over nothing, even simulate laughter, and still reap the benefits. The body knows no difference. "Fake it till you make it" is the motto. Incorporating yoga strecthes, rhythmic breathing, meditation and a lot of playfulness, a typical laughter club sessions begins with rhythmic hand clapping along with energetic chants of "hoho, ha-ha-ha." This unique idea was developed by Dr. Madan Kataria in 1995. His interest in the health benefits of laughter- its positive impact on healing and how it reduces stress - has led to the clubs worldwide, gather to practise laughs such as the "milk-shake" and the "lion." Numerous studies support the health benefits of laughter in cardiac rehabilitation and alleviating depression. Now, research at Loma Linda University in California suggest simply anticipating humuor can contribute to stress reduction and optimise the immune system. Researcher Lee S. Berk says, "if group laughter sounds like a fun activity, you've probably already gained some health benefits."To find a laughter club in your country, visit laughteryoga.org.
