Title: The Grey King
Author: Susan Cooper

The Grey King is about a boy named Will Stanton, who unfortunately gets an illness, and travels to his cousins who live in Whales. There he starts to remember something that is extremely important only after he meets a boy named Bran Davies and his dog Cafall. Bran Davies is also known as "The Raven Boy" and his dog is very special. His dog can see the wind and Bran can play the Golden Harp, both essential to Will's quest as an Old One, a person with powers to overpower the forces of Dark. He needs to find a golden harp to raise the Sleepers. The Sleepers are forces of the Light that will defeat the Dark. The problem is, though, is that he doesn't know where the golden harp is to raise them. Time is running out quickly and the Dark is growing stronger every day and he needs to stop them quickly!

I love to read this book because it has a lot of fantasy and I like fantasy. The illustrations in the book were very appropriate because it tell what's going to happen next. Even though it has its ups and downs, like life, it's an awesome book! you should read this book....

In my experience creativity has been an easy thing for me. It turns out; most find it hard to get the creative spark. What gives us that light over the head moment? Imagination is what fuels the fire pure and simple. Imagination is the ability to visualize forming images and ideas. It is the creative part of the mind where thoughts, images, and ideas are formed. Resourcefulness and the creative act are ways of thinking; a how to on ways of handling difficulties and problems while maintaining a semblance of reality, especially in literature. Vision is a force born on the wind flowing through time and space touching all having the will to reach for it.

I am sure there are many people who are smoking around us nowadays especially when we are at stall, shop and everywhere. Even our government has made a rule to decrease the amount of smoker by make many places become no smoking area such as hospital, shopping mall, school and university area but it is not enough without the knowledge of bad effects of smoking. Do you know how much smoking damage to your body? How much damage smoking does to your body depends on the type of tobacco, the form it is smoked, the temperature it is burned, the length of time you have been smoking and your general state of health. Experts say cigarette smoking is the most dangerous form and every cigarette you smoke shortens your life. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in both men and women, and is one of the most difficult cancers to treat and smoking is responsible for about 87 percent of lung cancer deaths. Cigarette smoking also gives for at least 30 percent of all cancer deaths. Smoking also can gives bad effect to everyone around you. People around the smoker like me called as second hand smoke also can get almost same percentage bad affects same like smoker. So, it is not wrong for me to call smoker as a silence murder. For those who have been smoking for many years, it's never too late too quit. By stopping now, you can reduce your risk of cancer, lung and heart disease.

“ Why do other people hear our voices differently than we do? “

We listen to a tape recording of ourselves talking with some friends. We insist the tape doesn’t sound at all like our voice, but everyone else’s sounds reasonably accurate…

According to the speech therapist Dr Mike D’Asaro, there is a universal pattern of rejection of one’s own voice and this includes some medical explanations. When we speak, we are not hearing our voice solely with our ears, but also through internal hearing, a mostly liquid transmission through a series of bodily organs. Sounds transmits differently through the air than through solids and liquids, and this difference accounts for almost of the tonal differences we hear on a recording of our own voice. This fact is taken from the Reader’s Digest September Issue.

'Get More Out of Your Day'

MILO trade mark like above and in Malay Polpular trade Mark is " MINUM MILO ANDA LEBIH KUAT DAN SIHAT".

Milo is added to hot or cold milk to give it a malted chocolate flavour and extra texture. When combined with cold milk, it retains the gritty texture of its raw state. Milo can be stirred into steamed milk or hot water to create something similar to hot chocolate or cocoa. Sugar can be added to the milo beverage, but many people enjoy it without the addition of sweeteners, appreciating it for its subtle chocolate flavour. Another possible use is making a normal cup of cold Milo and microwaving it for approximately 40–60 seconds. This gives the Milo drink a biscuity cover on top.

Another popular use is to sprinkle it on ice cream, especially vanilla ice cream. Milo can also be sprinkled on breakfast cereals. Milo is often the favoured beverage for the Tim Tam Slam.

Also very popular is the "Magic Milo" which involves adding Milo to a small amount of milk with sugar and whipping it to increase the amount of air in the milk, thereby doubling it in size. Then one adds small amounts of hot water and milk in layers stirring each new layer vigorously to maintain its lightness. A final layer of whipped cream topped with extra Milo or chocolate sprinkles. This is more of a 'warm' beverage rather than a 'hot' one and is a more popular version of hot Milo for children.

Frankenstein
or, the Modern Prometheus
by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley

The novel begins on a ship sailing north of the Arctic Circle, where the captain spots a figure traveling across the ice on a dog sled. This is Victor Frankenstein's creature, and close behind is Dr. Frankenstein himself. Invited onto the boat, the weak and ill Doctor tells the story of his alchemical studies and eventual construction of a man from inanimate matter.
I first read this book thinking it was "just another story where people scream and fill the screen with blood," but after I had finished it, I realised how amazing our silly childish nightmares can be if translated into such a tale of horror, humanity, fate and justice. Mary Shelley wrote this book when she was just 19, I think, but after finishing it, I couldn't but wonder how brilliant she was. The only thing I regret is that she didn't write more books as taking as that one. I recommend everyone above 13 to read this book, and you'll surely enjoy it as much as I did. If you missed that book, you missed half of the "Horror" definition.

Okay my friend, now I would like to share to you about moon. Actually this is my last reading entry, so I have no idea what to write in this last entry. So I see the sky and look at moon. So I get the idea to share to you about moon.
The Moon is Earth's only natural satellite and the fifth largest natural satellite in the Solar System. The average centre-to-centre distance from the Earth to the Moon is 384,403 km, about thirty times the diameter of the Earth. The Moon's diameter is 3,474 km, a little more than a quarter of that of the Earth. Thus, the Moon's volume is about 2 percent that of Earth. The pull of gravity at its surface is about 17 percent that at the Earth's surface. The Moon makes a complete orbit around the Earth every 27.3 days, and the periodic variations in the geometry of the Earth–Moon–Sun system are responsible for the lunar phases that repeat every 29.5 days.
That all I can share to you about moon. Actually they are so much more input that I not tell. For more information and input please visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon.

NEW KIND OF BREAST CANCER
Girls, you should read this. This is so scary!! November, a rare kind of breast cancer was found. A lady developed a rash on her breast, similar to that of young mothers who are nursing. Because her mammogram had been clear, the doctor treated her with antibiotics for infections. After 2 rounds, it continued to get worse, so her doctor sent her for another mammogram. This time it showed a mass. A biopsy found a fast growing malignancy. Chemo was started in order to shrink the growth; then a mastectomy was performed; then a full round of Chemo; then radiation. After about 9 months of intense treatment, she was given a clean bill of health.

Harry Potter is a series of seven fantasy novels written by British author J. K. Rowling. The books chronicle the adventures of the eponymous adolescent wizard Harry Potter, together with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, his friends from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The central story arc concerns Harry's struggle against the evil wizard Lord Voldemort, who killed Harry's parents in his quest to conquer the wizarding world and subjugate non-magical (Muggle) people to his rule. Several successful derivative films, video games and other themed merchandise have been based upon the series.

Comment:
Harry Potter is my favourite novel of all time. One of the reason why i like this novel so much is that the author, J.K Rowling is really good in bringing readers into the world she's describing. Another reason is that the storyline is great. It's resolving around the magical world and strange being, which is really my kind of story. That's why i love this novel so much.

CELL PHONE VIRUS

Your cell phone is a little computer, and like any computer, it can get pretty sick from a little thing known as a virus. Though mobile phone viruses are still fairly uncommon, they do exist. The first cell phone virus, a worm known as Cabir, popped up around 2004, and there's been a slow and steady growth of spyware-by-phone ever since. A virus called Brador erases files, resets your phone, and sends out private information. Just recently, Nokia phones were invaded by a Trojan Horse malware known as CommWarrior, which spread to other phones over Bluetooth. Keep your cell phone safe from viruses. Here's how to protect your phone and keep it secure.

Hye everyone.
This is a last reading entry for February. I was totally out of idea to blogging. Hurm.

Yesterday, I went shopping with my mum. I want to buy a running shoe because I want start jogging. Huhuhu.. I want to lose my weight. I think I am so fat right now. Before I went to shopping, I was read a article about how to choose a suitable running shoe. So for who want start jogging, you can follow this step to buy a running shoe. Huhu..

1. Understand Pronation
- Pronation is the rolling of the foot from heel to toe through the foot strike. A proper or neutral pronation is hitting the outside of the heel and up to ball of your foot evenly across the front. This is how your foot reduces the stress of impact.

2. Determine Your Foot Type
- Another method of determining pronation and, ultimately, foot type is by checking your arch height. The easiest way to figure out your arch height is by using the Wet Test. To take the test, wet the bottom of each footand stand normally on a paper bag. After a minute or so, step off and observe the imprint left by your foot. (Trace the outline with a pencil if you want to look at it later.)

3. Choose the Right Running Shoe for You
Now that you've determined your foot type and degree of pronation, one other important characteristic you'll need to look for is shoe shape. You can see the shape most clearly by looking at the bottom of the shoe.
Typically, running shoes come in three shapes (straight, semi-curved and curved) which correspond to the three types of prints revealed by the wet test.

now, i am ready to go shopping and buy a ruinning shoe and i can start jogging. please pray for me so my weight will lose and i get my dream body shape..hehe..

“Baju Melayu is a traditional Malay outfit for men. It literally translates as 'Malay shirt' and consists of two main parts. The first being the baju (long sleeved shirt) itself which has a raised stiff collar known as the cekak musang collar (literally fox's lease). The second part is the trousers. The two parts are made out of the same type of fabric which is usually silk, cotton, or a mixture of polyester and cotton. A skirt-type adornment is also commonly worn with the Baju Melayu, which is either the "kain samping", made out of songket cloth or the kain sarung, made out of cotton or a polyester mix. Both are loops of fabric which are folded around the wearer's waist. A jet-black or dark coloured headgear called the songkok can also worn to complete the attire.”
On Hari Raya, when I just sit at the sofa in my grandma home, I look at my nephew. He just 3 years and suddenly I think he’s so sweet wearing their ‘baju raya’ actually ‘baju melayu in pink colour’. And after that,I take the advantage to look at other ‘baju melayu’ that wearing by a man. In Johor,‘Baju Melayu Teluk Belanga’ very popular but for ‘Cekak Musang’ it’s become too general. Maybe it’s always popular when Hari Raya comes, but it think it just a suitable outfit to wear weather in Hari Raya or not.
Baju Melayu also used for formal days. Usually when have a official attire or natinal event. And for majlis ‘Akad Nikah’ in wedding day. Maybe some people think that wearing baju melayu make them feel hot or not suitable at all, but I think that baju melayu make them more smart and sweet at all.

A KEBAYA

A Kebaya is a traditional blouse worn by women in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore, sometimes made from sheer material and usually worn with a sarong, batik, or other traditional knitted garment such as a songket with a colorful motif. Kebaya is originated from Arab region
The Kebaya is also one of the clothes well- liked by the Malay community, especially during the 1960s. The Kebaya is usually matched with "Kain Songket" or "Batik". In the olden days, it is usually tight and short but in today's context, these clothes do not need to follow the body shape of the person wearing it. There are many types of kebaya such as “kebaya nyonya”, “kebaya moden”, “kebarung” and else.
Apart from traditional kebaya, fashion designers are looking into ways of modifying the design and making kebaya a more fashionable outfit. Casual designed kebaya can even be worn with jeans or skirts. For weddings or formal events, many designers are exploring other types of fine fabrics like laces to create a bridal kebaya.

ENJOY YOUR READING.

HOMESICK

Homesickness is actually a normal response to separation from people, places and things that give you a sense of belonging. Sometimes, you will get over for being homesick. Remember that people go and move away all the time. So, you must try to get over it, and go enjoy your life, but how? Hence, there are several ways for you to deal with this problem.
In order to beat homesickness, you must allow yourself to feel homesick by having a few simple pictures of specific loved ones that you miss, for instance, your family’s and friend’s pictures but too many pictures can lead to too many missed memories. Besides, you can have something special you might like, for instance your pillow, blanket or teddy bear that are useful when you need to feel close and remind you of home.
More important, make sure you have a friend. You will be homesick much more often if you are lonely. It may take time for you to meet people you truly can mix with, but in the meantime, make an effort to get to know as many people as you can. Having a friend provides a distraction from feeling bad, and it also gives you someone to talk to about it that can comfort and make you feel better.
You also can call Mom or whoever and keep in touch. This convinces people at home that you are fine and stay connected to the people you loved. It is important to accept the fact that you are outside of the house, so keep your calling limited to once or twice a week. Calling too much will eventually lead to more homesickness.
People at home, miss you as much as you miss them. So, do something! Do not wait for homesickness to go away by itself. Hopefully, with all the tips are given can avoid your homesickness and enjoy your life to the fullest.

SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE

Spiritual intelligence is concerned with the inner life of mind and spirit and its relationship to being in the world. Spiritual intelligence implies a capacity for a deep understanding of existential questions and insight into multiple levels of consciousness. Spiritual intelligence also implies awareness of spirit as the ground of being or as the creative life force of evolution. If the evolution of life from stardust to mineral, vegetable, animal, and human existence implies some form of intelligence rather than being a purely random process, it might be called spiritual. Spiritual intelligence emerges as consciousness evolves into an ever-deepening awareness of matter, life, body, mind, soul, and spirit.
Spiritual intelligence, then, is more than individual mental ability. It appears to connect the personal to the transpersonal and the self to spirit. Spiritual intelligence goes beyond conventional psychological development. In addition to self-awareness, it implies awareness of our relationship to the transcendent, to each other, to the earth and all beings. Working as a psychotherapist, my impression is that spiritual intelligence opens the heart, illuminates the mind, and inspires the soul, connecting the individual human psyche to the underlying ground of being. Spiritual intelligence can be developed with practice and can help a person distinguish reality from illusion. It may be expressed in any culture as love, wisdom, and service.
Spiritual intelligence is related to emotional intelligence insofar as spiritual practice includes developing intrapersonal and interpersonal sensitivity. Paying attention to subjective thoughts and feelings and cultivating empathy is part of increasing awareness of the inner spiritual life. Spiritual intelligence depends on the capacity to see things from more than one perspective and to recognize the relationships between perception, belief, and behavior. Most people are expected to take responsibility for behavior but not for beliefs or perceptions, although these are intimately interconnected. Refining any form of intelligence requires training and discipline, and spiritual intelligence is no exception.
