I got one story. The title is sand and stone. This story tells about two friends were talking through the desert. During some point of the journey, they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The other one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE." They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decide to take a bath. The one who had been slapped, got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After the friend recovered from from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone:"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE." The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, “After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you wrote on a stone, why??"
The other friend replied:"When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."LEARN TO WRITE OUR HURTS IN THE SAND AND TO CARVE OUR BENEFITS IN STONE...................

The Anti-Flu Diet

Increase your odds of staying well this winter with quercetin.
Sometimes a flu shot works, and sometimes it doesn't. To increase your odds of staying well this winter, eat more apples, blueberries, broccoli, spinach, lettuce, and onions. They all contain quercetin, a powerful antioxidant shown to reduce the risk of flu in mice.

Research has also linked high consumption of quercetin with catching fewer colds, says University of South Carolina researcher J. Mark Davis, PhD. His virus-avoiding strategy (besides steering clear of those who are sick and being vigilant about hand washing) includes loading up on quercetin-rich foods.

Best of all, he says, are red onions, which have quadruple the quercetin of most other produce. Eat them raw or cooked, though cooking foods with quercetin may make the antioxidant more easily absorbed.

Longevity secrets. According to researcher Dan Buettner, his book The Blue Zone said ‘There’s no supplement that can reverse aging’. But avoiding processed foods, making family a priority, cutting calories by 20% and getting on a scale daily may slow it down. And this how to reducing stress
Meditate – Sit in a quiet space and focus on the skin below your nose and above your lip. Feel the sensations of your breathing. Aim for 15 minutes a day, building up to an hour.
Get personal – Write a personal mission statement. It helps you develop your purpose in life, a factor that contributes to longevity
Do yoga – ‘It’s an ideal exercise as you get older, when joint health is especially important’ Buettner says
I wish you all have happy life and live longer.

Foundation is very important building part in civil construction. In building construction, foundation is the heart of the building. So, in this reading entry, i would like to share to you about foundation.

Foundation is a structure that transmits loads to the underlying soils. It is an element that is situated at the lowest part at the bottom of a building or structure which is in the ground. Load from the structure or building will be transferred to the soil through a foundation.

Foundation is a structure often constructed from concrete, steel or wood. It keeps water, soil, animals & some insects from entering the basement or crawl space. In most structure, the foundation wall does not have a significant role in carrying the structural load from the structure.

A geotechnical engineer must ensure that a foundation satisfies the following two stability conditions. First condition, the foundation must not collapse or become unstable under any conceivable loading. Second condition to make perfect foundation is the settlement of the structure must be within tolerable limits.

Concrete …
Concrete was one of element that use in the construction. We can say it was the mid era to the new era element in construction. Before concrete, we use timber, clay, create a hole in a cave and etc. for construction. Thanks to the inventor that find the way to create concrete. Actually concrete we create by 3 most important thing such as portland cement, water and soil. To increase the strength and durability of concrete, we put another item such as steel rod (reinforce), aggregate, and another admixture. Beside that, we put a brick to decrease the portland cement use that expensive. Until now none any item will replace the concrete about the strength and durability except steel but steel wasn’t going commercially been used because the price and source. To make a concrete safe and durable until 100 year or over, we need to design and calculate their important building structure such as beam, column and slab. Beside that, design and calculation will decrease an expand and safe from wasting a source.

WANT TO BE POLITE PERSON??

1. Be gentle, not forceful or insistent. It means that when you do something, offer something, or make a request, you do it without pressuring the people around

2. When in doubt, observe others. How are they greeting and addressing each other? What are they doing with their coats? What kinds of topics are they discussing?

3. Be nice. Treat everyone the same way, even if you are not fond of them. Never make any enemies.

4. Start a conversation by asking questions about the other person. Try not to talk about yourself too much. Be confident and charming. Do not hog the conversation, that is arrogant.

5. Shake hands firmly and look your acquaintance in the eye. You might want to practice this a bit so you don't squish people's hands, depending on how strong you are.

6. Do not yell, or laugh at jokes or remarks you made yourself. A sense of wit should come naturally.

7. Know the proper dinner etiquette. For silverware, go from the outside, in. And put your napkin on your lap, and do not add anything to the table that was not there when you got there (cell phone, glasses, jewelry).

8. Have a laugh which shows you are having fun, without being loud. Loudness either indicates arrogance or insecurity. A charming polite person makes another person feel good.

Do you prefer to use laptop or desktop? Both laptop and desktop computers can be better than the other depending on the given situation and our needs of using each respective machine. A desktop computer has a bigger memory and to hold more RAM than a laptop computer simply because there is more space available for the storage. The space in a desktop computer will often allow us to choose almost unlimited accessories such as a top speed processor, the latest state of the art sound and graphics cards, extra ports for external linking and more than enough storage space for all of the programs, music and video clips. Additionally the extra space of desktop comes with one more big benefit than laptop that is the ability to easily upgrade. The one glaring advantage a laptop computer holds over its desktop counterpart is portability. The close example for us who is a student living in a closet sized dormitory with three others students, a laptop computer is practically a necessity. No matter how powerful or fast your desktop computer is, you can't unplug it, take it to the subway and finish writing your report while you travel. For me, it’s hard to choose either laptop or desktop because for now I have both of them and I need both of them too.

Today I read one interesting article about some men who are opting to be the house-husband.

I always hear and read about housewife but rarely about house-husband. This articles shows that more and more men turn their attention more to their kids at home as their unable to find jobs while their wife still have the opportunity to work.

But in my opinion, mother and father are very different in terms of their nurturing styles and care-giving and one should never try to be the other. Because why? Because children loves you for who you are.

So one day, I want to find a man who have the true ability to manage and care of my family and my child.I don't want a house-husband but I want a man who can share the joyful life of a family. Thank you for reading.

Black pepper

As well as we know, black pepper is commonly use as seasoning in our food. If we put a little bit of black pepper, it will change the taste of our food and it become tasty and spice, but for those who have abdominal surgery and ulcers, you are advice to eliminate it from your diet because of its irritating effect upon the intestines. During The 5th century Syriac Book of Medicines prescribes pepper (or perhaps long pepper) for such illnesses as constipation, diarrhea, earache, gangrene, heart disease, hernia, hoarseness, indigestion, insect bites, insomnia, joint pain, liver problems, lung disease, oral abscesses, sunburn, tooth decay, and toothaches. But there is no current medical treatment evidence that any of these treatments has benefit. Pepper gets its spicy heat mostly from the piperine compound, which is found both in the outer fruit and in the seed. Refined piperine, milligram-for-milligram, is about one percent as hot as the capsaicin in chili peppers. The outer fruit layer, left on black pepper, also contains important odour-contributing terpenes including pinene, sabinene, limonene, caryophyllene, and linalool, which give citrus, woody, and floral notes. That’s all about black pepper... =)

This article is about the food allergy causes. I choose this topic because it is very related to some people. Firstly, the article talk about an allergic reaction occurs when the body's immune system overreacts to an allergen, in this case a food protein. The white blood cells produce an antibody to this allergen; we called immunoglobulin E or IgE. Then, when this antibody comes in contact with the particular food protein, it promotes production and release of certain chemicals called "mediators." Histamine is an example of a mediator. These mediators act on various parts of the body, mainly the skin, throat, airways, intestines, and heart. The effects of the mediators on organs and other cells cause the symptoms of the allergic reaction. So, any food has the potential to trigger an allergic reaction, but a few foods account for most food allergies. In fact, about 90% of food allergies are triggered by one of these 8 foods: Eggs Milk Wheat Soy Peanuts Tree nuts Fish Shellfish Generally, people who have allergies react to only a few foods. Occasionally a person who is allergic to one food also may be allergic to other related foods. This is called cross-reaction. Then, the common examples such as allergy to peanuts - Cross-allergies to soybeans, green beans, and peas allergy to wheat - Cross-allergy to rye Allergy to cow's milk - Cross-allergy to goat's milk Allergy to pollen - Cross-allergies to foods such as hazelnuts, green apples, peaches, and almonds People who have a history of other allergies, such as eczema or asthma, are particularly prone to having a reaction to a food. They are also more likely to have a more severe reaction.
In my opinion, allergy might be happen to the some people that not have strong body’s immune system. Besides, we should choose the food carefully to avoid any health problem. So, that’s all about the allergy that I could found. I hope that this article can be as new information to us.

"LIGHT"

When we open our eyes, the first element that we will feel is light. We see something in front of us because of reflection of light in our retina. What is light? Seems like a silly question at first, but after some thought most of us will agree we don't know much. It comes out of the sun, lets us see things, and makes us warm. We can't grab it, can't outrun it, and can't seem to define it. Yet, physics has made many successful attempts at clarifying what light is and what it can do. So, what is light? Light is is part of the electromagnetic spectrum, which ranges from radio waves to gamma rays. Electromagnetic radiation waves, as their names suggest are fluctuations of electric and magnetic fields, which can transport energy from one location to another. Visible light is not inherently different from the other parts of the electromagnetic spectrum with the exception that the human eye has evolved to detect visible waves. We should thanks to Allah because we are the amazing creature. Subhanallah..

The frog is an amphibian in the order Anura (meaning "tail-less", from Greek an-, without + oura, tail), formerly referred to as Salientia (Latin saltare, to jump). The name frog derives from Old English frogga,[1] (compare Old Norse frauki, German Frosch, older Dutch spelling kikvorsch), cognate with Sanskrit plava (frog), probably deriving from Proto-Indo-European praw = "to jump".[2]

Most frogs are characterized by long hind legs, a short body, webbed digits (fingers or toes), protruding eyes and the absence of a tail. Most frogs have a semi-aquatic lifestyle, but move easily on land by jumping or climbing. They typically lay their eggs in puddles, ponds or lakes, and their larvae, called tadpoles, have gills and develop in water. Adult frogs follow a carnivorous diet, mostly of arthropods, annelids and gastropods. Frogs are most noticeable by their call, which can be widely heard during the night or day, mainly in their mating season.

The distribution of frogs ranges from tropic to subarctic regions, but most species are found in tropical rainforests. Consisting of more than 5,000 species described, they are among the most diverse groups of vertebrates. However, populations of certain frog species are significantly declining.

A distinction is often made between frogs and toads on the basis of their appearance, caused by the convergent adaptation among so-called toads to dry environments; however, this distinction has no taxonomic basis. The only family exclusively given the common name "toad" is Bufonidae, but many species from other families are also called "toads," and the species within the toad genus Atelopus are referred to as "harlequin frogs".

I hate frogs. Not actually hate, i'm scared of it actually. It's so incredibly 'yukky'. I meant look at their face and their skin. Oh my god.

They are many benefit if we take some time to walking everyday .Firstly our heart will strengthened by walking because the exercise makes your heart beat more efficiently. Walking also reduces LDL cholesterol which reduces the risk of several cardiovascular problems. It may help lower blood pressure as well. Beside that ,regular walking helps the lungs operate more efficiently, it also expands your lung capacity. Second, when you inhale deeply you bring air into the bottom part of your lungs. The air in the bottom part of your lungs is seldom exchanged, and this air exchange helps clean out and detoxify your body by reducing carbon dioxide levels in the blood. Walking also can gives your immune system a boost. The lymphatic system plays a crucial role in carrying away toxins, and it relies on the circulation of lymph fluids in order to do its job. Unlike the circulatory system which has the heart as a pump, the lymph system has no pump and is only activated by movement. In side effect, our circulatory system gets a boost from walking because as the heart beats stronger and faster, it pumps more blood throughout our ‘s body. Walking also lowers LDL cholesterol which helps keep your arteries clear. Last , walking also helps keep your weight down by burning calories, increasing metabolism, and improving blood sugar levels by balancing insulin production.

Today, i wuld like to share about “Silkworm”.

Morphology
•Larvae are worm-like with a short anal horn.
•Three distinct body parts: head, thorax, abdomen
•Adult has four wings covered with scales

Adult Males and Females

Adult moths have creamy white wings with brownish patterns across the front wings. The body is very hairy and the wingspan is about 50 mm. Adult females are larger and less active than males. Male moths actively crawl around looking for females. They will copulate for several hours.

Immatures (different stages)

Lepidoptera are holometabolous, therefore they have three distinct morphological stages; larva, pupa and adult. After hatching from the egg, larvae go through four molts as they grow. During each molt, the old skin is cast off and a new, larger one is produced. The silk worm larval life is divided into five instars, separated by four molts. Three pair of short, jointed legs with a single claw at the tip are located on the three body segments immediately behind the head. Five pair of fleshy protuberances (prolegs) ending in a series of hooks called crockets are located posteriorly and ventrally on the abdomen and aid the larva's clinging a climbing abilities on plants.

While we are talking about the weather, they are talking about dryers. While we are discussing cotton, they are touching silk. While we concern about the puncture tire, they are choosing their next 'batman' car. The obvious difference between them and us: Money. They are rich, we are not (at least I am not rich). And that makes all the difference.

-What difference? - you asked.

I'll choose Smart Mini Convertible over Ferrari or Mercedes Benz, while they decide if the RM1million looks better than the RM1.01million.

I'll choose Ramli burger from the roadside over Abalone Burger, while they decide if the RM5,000 sharkfin would taste better than the RM4,999.

I'll choose a free life as a writer over career man, while they decide if conquering the nationwide fleet would be better than the local ones.

-And so? - you added.

So... I choose to live while they choose to try to live.

Money is almost everything, but never everything. People who are rich ought to let lose and live life; Don't hold too tight to the rope. Let go to enjoy life.

Some of women like to collect a lot of handbag as their hobby. Then, they will match the handbag with their outfit according to function or event that they will go. Handbag has a lot of sizes, colors and shapes. Woman will buy the handbag depends on their taste. Some of woman stress on brand of their handbag compared to the design. They will not argue although the handbag is so expensive. Some of branded handbag that usually woman crazy of are Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Gucci, Christian Dior, Fendi, Prada, Kate Spade, Chloe and Coach. This type of brand is very expensive but they still buy it. From my opinion, handbag is really useful for a woman no matter what is the brand of the handbag. Assalamualaikum n aite everyone....

My topic today is horoscope. Why I choose to read this article? Because every morning, I’ll read my horoscope so I’ll know what has happened to me on that day. It doesn’t mean that I believe it 100% but only as guide to be faced life.
Every person has their own respective horoscope. My horoscope is Capricorn. Horoscope always discusses on physical condition, finance and love to every person based on respective horoscope in every month.
In astrology, a horoscope is a chart or diagram representing the positions of the Sun, Moon, planets, the astrological aspects, and sensitive angles at the time of an event, such as the moment of a person's birth. The word horoscope is derived from Greek words meaning "a look at the hours" (horoskopos, pl. horoskopoi, or "marker(s) of the hour.") Other commonly used names for the horoscope in English include astrological chart, astro-chart, celestial map, sky-map, star-chart, tomogram, vita sphere, radical chart, radix, chart wheel, or simply chart. It is used as a method of divination regarding events relating to the point in time it represents and forms the basis of the horoscope traditions of astrology.
In common usage, horoscope often refers to an astrologer's interpretation, usually through a system of Sun sign astrology or based upon calendar significance of an event, as in Chinese astrology. In particular, many newspapers and magazines carry predictive columns based on celestial influences in relation to the zodiacal placement of the Sun on the day of a person's birth, identifying the individual's Sun sign or "star sign." This system is distinct from horoscopes as traditionally employed, as only the zodiacal placement of the Sun is considered in interpretation. While this modern usage is perhaps the most popular in the colloquial lexicon, this article will focus primarily on the traditional concept.

The story is about Mo, who has the ability to read characters out of the book a.k.a ‘silvertongue’. The only drawback is that when he brings something out of a story, something must go back in to replace it. One day, he has read a story to his daughter, Meggie and the character from the story, Capricorn, has come out and his wife has been inhale into the Inkheart book.

The journey begin when Mo and Meggie cooperate with Dustfinger to find the last copy of Inkheart to get his wife back and sent Dustfinger and Capricorn back to Inkheart.

I went to watch this movie last Sunday and I think this movie is really interesting because it show the important of cooperation to achieve our dream. Although there are no hope but we still need to keep trying. This movie also shows the family value such as love between our parent. I really enjoy watching this movie.
