Dodo Bird

Have all of you heard about Dodo bird before..? This is a type of bird that had already extinct and cannot be found on earth. I have read an article about the extinction of this Dodo bird and would like to share it with all of you. The Dodo bird inhabited the island of Mauritius in Indian Ocean, where it live undisturbed for so long that it lost its need and ability to fly. It feed on fruits that had fallen on the ground. In 1505, Portuguese came and turned the island into spice trading harbour. The Dodo became the source of fresh meat for these sailors. Large number were killed. Later, the Dutch used the island as penal colony. Brought with them, monkeys and uninvited rats which destroy the Dodos' eggs in the ground nest. The combination of human exploitation and introduced species had reduced the number of Dodo bird within 100 years of the arrivals of human. last bird was killed in 1681. There is no complete specimen left or preserved, there are only fragments and sketches. What a waste. we did not even have a chance to see this bird personally. So, why not we human be more responsible to preserve the animal from extinction. More stories about the Dodo bird, visit:

SORRY, SORRY AND SORRY!!

Sometimes it can be difficult to apologize to a friend.. right?? Say I am sorry and get friendship back on course. Sometimes an argument with a friend can happen over the most silly things. It may have seemed important at the time, but after cool off a bit and analyze the situation, I realize my argument wasn't so important after all. All I want is my FRIENDSHIP back. The good news is a sincere apology can work wonders at healing an argument. In fact, the only way to win an argument is by being the first to say, "I WAS WRONG. PLEASE FORGIVE ME". I know no argument is more important than friendship. Friends are truly life's greatest treasures.

WORLD OF VITAMINS

I’d read about the vitamins. There is a lot of vitamin like Vitamin A, Vitamin B and much more through this articles, I got lots of information about vitamins. So, here is some of the information:
Vitamins are a group of substances essential for normal cell function, growth and development. There are 13 essential vitamins. That means they are needed for the body to function. They are:

* Vitamin A
* Vitamin C
* Vitamin D
* Vitamin E
* Vitamin K
* Vitamin B1 (thiamine)
* Vitamin B2 (riboflavin)
* Vitamin B3 (niacin)
* Pantothenic acid
* Biotin
* Vitamin B6
* Vitamin B12
* Folate (folic acid)

Vitamins are grouped into two categories:
• Fat-soluble vitamins are stored in the body's fatty tissue.
• Water-soluble vitamins must be used by the body right away. Any left over water-soluble vitamins leave the body through the urine. Vitamin B12 is the only water-soluble vitamin that can be stored in the liver for many years.
• Through this article also, I got to know the functions of each vitamin.

So, if you have read this, get enough vitamins to have A BETTER LIFE.

For this entry, I wanna share U some hilarious joke...=)

"The other night I was invited out for a night with the ‘girls.’ I told my husband that I would be home by midnight, ‘I promise!’

Well, the hours passed and the margaritas went down way too easily. Around 3 a.m., a bit loaded, I headed for home. Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hallway started up and cuckooed 3 times. Quickly, realizing my husband would probably wake up, I cuckooed another 9 times.

I was really proud of myself for coming up with such a quick-witted solution, in order to escape a possible conflict with him. (Even when totally smashed… 3 cuckoos plus 9 cuckoos totals = 12 cuckoos MIDNIGHT!)

The next morning my husband asked me what time I got in, I told him ‘MIDNIGHT’… he didn’t seem p***d off in the least………. Whew, I got away with that one!"

Then he said ‘We need a new cuckoo clock.’ When I asked him why, he said, ‘Well, last night our clock cuckooed three times then said ‘oh sh*t.’ Cuckooed 4 more times, cleared its throat, cuckooed another three times, giggled, cuckooed twice more, and then tripped over the coffee table and farted.

Hope all of U ENJOY IT!!

For this entry, I want to share some infomation about nap.Nap can be defined as a short period of sleep, usually in the day time.
Everyone, no matter how high-strung, has the capacity to nap. But the conditions need to be right. Here, I want to share some hint in how to get the perfect napping.

The first consideration is psychological where's you will recognize that you're not being lazybecause napping will make you more productive and more alert after you wake up. Besides,try to nap in the morning or just after lunch because human circadian rhythms make late afternoons a more likely time to fall into deep sleep, which will leave you groggy. Third hint. is avoid consuming large quantities of caffeine as well as foods that are heavy in fat and sugar, which meddle with a person's ability to fall asleep. Instead, in the hour or two before your nap time, eat foods high in calcium and protein, which promote sleep. Then,find a clean, quiet place where passersby and phones won't disturb you. Try to darken your nap zone, or wear an eyeshade. Darkness stimulates melatonin, the sleep- inducing hormone. Remember that body temperature drops when you fall asleep. Raise the room temperature or use a blanket. Once you are relaxed and in position to fall asleep, set your alarm for the desired duration.

Did you all use a washer machine??. A washing machine is a machine designed to clean laundry, such as clothing, towels, sheets and etc. The term is mostly applied only to machines that use water as the primary cleaning solution, as opposed to dry cleaning or even ultrasonic cleaners.

All washer machines work by using mechanical energy, thermal energy, and chemical action. Mechanical energy is imparted to the clothes load by the rotation of the agitator in top loaders, or by the tumbling action of the drum in front loaders. Thermal energy is supplied by the temperature of the wash bath.

The top loading design or V-axis clothes washer, most popular in Australia, Canada, the United States and Latin America, places the clothes in a vertically-mounted perforated basket that is contained within a water-retaining tub, with a propeller-like agitator in center of the bottom of the basket.

Some features available in modern consumer washing machines:
• Aquastop
• Child lock
• Delayed execution
• Time remaining indication
• Steam

During a trip to Asia in the early 1800s, a German merchant - it is said - noticed that the nomadic Tartars softened their meat by keeping it under their saddles. The motion of the horse pounded the meat to bits. The Tartars would then scrape it together and season it for eating. The idea of pounded beef found its way back to the merchant's home town of Hamburg where cooks broiled the meat and referred to it as it as Hamburg meat.

German immigrants introduced the recipe to the US. The term "hamburger" is believed to have appeared in 1834 on the menu from Delmonico's restaurant in New York but there is no surviving recipe for the meal. The first mention in print of "Hamburg steak" was made in 1884 in the Boston Evening Journal.

The honour of producing the first proper hamburger goes to Charlie Nagreen of Seymour, WI. In 1885 Nagreen introduced the American hamburger at the Outgamie County Fair in Seymour. (Seymour is recognised as the hamburger capital of the world.)

However, there is another claim to that throne. There is an account of Frank and Charles Menches who, also in 1885, went to the Hamburg, New York county fair to prepare their famous pork sausage sandwiches. But since the local meat market was out of pork sausage, they used ground beef instead. Alas, another hamburger.

The first account of serving ground meat patties on buns - taking on the look of the hamburger as we know it today - took place in 1904 at the St. Louis World Fair. But it was many years later, in 1921, that an enterprising cook from Wichita, Kansas, Walt Anderson, introduced the concept of the hamburger restaurant. He convinced financier Billy Ingram to invest $700 to create The White Castle hamburger chain. It was an instant success. The rest of the history, we might say, belongs to McDonald's.

And, no, a hamburger does not have any ham in it. Well, it's not supposed to. Hamburger meat usually is made of 70-80% beef, and fat and spices.

The important role of human integrity in society:

Integrity is one of the human qualities, which has helped us rise above anarchy. Integrity is the ability to do what is right even if it is at your own expense. Integrity also has other meanings such as following through in actions with what you say in words. Such follow up with action gives your words integrity.
After a fair amount of experience with your fellow humans, you'll get some rough idea of what human integrity is. You'll find that some people let you down, and you'll discover some patterns. But there's no hard and fast rule to telling a person who lives an honest life from someone who lives in a world of excuses and flim-flam.
You'll often find you have unreasonable expectations of people. These may be based on your own needs, not on what the other person is actually capable of giving. But you do get pleasant surprises.

SECRET?
Hey guys, do you want to know how to keep a secret; even yours, your friends or anyone.
Here are the tips I want to share to all of you.

1)Keep your motivator in mind. There are lots of reasons to keep something a secret. Maybe it would be embarrassing, for you or someone else. People look up to and trust you when you keep secrets, since it's a very difficult thing to do.

2)Ask how long you need to keep this secret. Is it something simple, like a present or a surprise party, or something you intend to take to the grave? This will give you more of a perspective of the secret you are keeping.

3)Force yourself to just not tell! You have to keep this secret because no one else is supposed to know about it.

4)Remain defensive. Just calmly refuse to tell the secret.

5)Pretend you don't know any secrets. ( I think this is the best way because there will no one know about the secret you keep with you.)

Try these tips my dear friends.

I’M SO TIRED…….

Today, I am not going to share what I’ve read, but just to share my feelings for the entire day. Like I said in the headline, I was so tired this week because a lot of work must be done and it seems to be endless. Firstly, I am currently engage with the “Fiesta Teater Senandika” which will be held this weekend. It was so tiring because I was urged to create a jungle set. Starting from last Saturday, every night I have to go to our Sports Center and doing my painting there. Until today, the painting was 90% completed and it must be done by tonight! Secondly, I was so tired with boys. They are very annoying and I felt like killing them is the best ‘medicine’ for me at this moment. Lately, they often make me angry and the best part is they are not noticing it! And finally, they are several people who pissed me out. I am so tired facing them every day. I’m sick of their dramas and hopefully, it will be end soon because my mouth are going to open and before I speak up, please stop the acting.

Snow is white but ice has no colour through both are solid states of the same substance water. Why is that? The main reason for the difference arises from the degree of smooth of snow and ice. Matter obtains its look by its surrounding light and the way this interaction influence the light that gets to our eyes. It is scattering of light that accounts for the differences in colour between snow and ice.

Chocolate are made from the cocoa. The Latin name for the cacao tree, Theobromacacao, means ‘food of the gods’. From the article that I have read about the chocolate, it states that the ingredient in chocolate is responsible for its melting behavior and stability. It also can produce feelings of ecstasy.

Organic food

Today i read the article about organic food..why more and more people are eating organic food?what is the different?
Did you know that if you consumed an average apple you would be eating over 30 pesticides, even after you have washed it?

The quality of food has definitely gone down since the second world war. For instance, the levels of vitamin C in today's fruit bear no resemblance to the levels found in wartime fruit.
Organic foods are produced according to certain production standards, meaning they are grown without the use of conventional pesticides, artificial fertilizers, human waste, or sewage sludge, and that they were processed without ionizing radiation or food additives.
Organic food is known to contain 50% more nutrients, minerals and vitamins than produce that has been intensively farmed.

Processed organic food usually contains only organic ingredients. If non-organic ingredients are present, at least a certain percentage of the food's total plant and animal ingredients must be organic (95% in the United States[3] and Australia) and any non-organically produced ingredients are subject to various agricultural requirements. Foods claiming to be organic must be free of artificial food additives, and are often processed with fewer artificial methods, materials and conditions.

Organic facts
1.Organic food is much more rich in vitamins, minerals and fibre and retains the levels of nutrients for much longer

2.Your body will be more resistant to disease as it will have higher levels of the essential nutrients it needs to fight off infection

3.You will have more energy through consuming lower levels of toxins and chemicals that slow your body down

4.Organic food producers must meet stringent standards

5.Organic farms respect our water resources and do not leach nitrogens and other pollutants from their soil

6.Organic food just tastes so much better!

Batu seremban or five stones is a game originally played by girls. This is an easier game to play compare to congkak. It is because it only needs five stones or five round objects to play with. You can either play with five, seven or nine objects determining to what type of game you are playing.

The objective of the game is to throw one of the stones one at a time and sweeping another on the floor simultaneously catching the one you threw earlier on. This game continues to advance stages where the game gets complicated. Try to play it. I believe it will be fun.
