Contact Lens

Here is about the history of the first invention for contact lens. It was invented in 1887 by Adolf E. Fick, Eugene Kalt and August Muller. The invention of contact lens hinged on the used of glass scleral shells and called by Fick as contact spectacles and Corneal Lens by Muller. Kalt used the invention to treat keratokonus by using a glass shell that had the approximate radius of a normal cornea. The invention keep on developing in the early 1900 and years later. For now we can see many types of contact lenses with varieties of color.=)

Another article i have read today is how to choose a suitable running shoes. The writer has recommend to choose a running shoes from a main factor which is how much you run and how far.For men, think about getting Nike or Reebok shoes or even Asics. Asics makes a wide variety of running shoes. Women who run half an hour a day or less should probably go with a shoe like Asics carries.

Salam...today I want to share about "BOROBUDUR". Borobudur is a ninth-century Mahayana Buddhist monument in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia.
The monument comprises six square platforms topped by three circular platforms. In Indonesian, ancient temples are known as candi; thus "Borobudur Temple" is locally known as Candi Borobudur.Approximately 40 kilometers (25 mi) northwest of Yogyakarta. There is no written record of who built Borobudur or of its intended purpose.

This CANDI BOROBUDUR is the very unique.

KAMEN RIDER PART 3

This is the last comment about KAMEN RIDER. For this comment it is especially for KAMEN RIDER DEN-O,which I currently watch, today I already watch episode 32,the story becoming more climax and interesting.Ryotaro Nogami(KAMEN RIDER) is a young man with a lot of bad luck. When he first appeared, he managed to lodge himself in a tall tree while on his bike after losing control and going up a fallen sign. He has even placed a name tag in his wallet so it can be returned to him when it is stolen. Despite his hardships, Ryotaro(very funny character) will help anyone in need if he has the ability to do so. He refuses to accept self-sacrifice as the only means to protect others. In this KAMEN RIDER also have type of form. The form are : Plat Form , Sword Form, Rod Form, Axe Form, Gun Form, Wing Form and Liner Form(the weird form I ever seen).I cant totally story what really the KAMEN RIDER DEN-O about because I not finish yet watch the KAMEN RIDER. So wait for other comment that I can share about this type of KAMEN RIDER.

Assalamualaikum...

Here, I want to share something what I have done read just now about Get to know all about Malaysia, from web page http://www.geocities.com/TheTropics/Shores/3187/ .

Education

It is compulsory for all children to attend Primary school and secondary school. The educations are free. Kindergarten start from age 5 to 6 and formal school start at 6 to 7 years old. Study 6 years at Primary school, called Standard One to Standard Six. Then, move to the Secondary School for 5 years (Form 1 to Form 5). Those who do really well qualify for Form 6, they study another 2 years of education. From here, they will proceed to College or University, depending on their CGPA results. Malaysia has local as well as international colleges and universities. It is fast becoming an educational regional center. The medium of instruction in the National-type Primary schools are in Bahasa Malaysia. The private-Chinese schools however teach in Mandarin. They teach Bahasa Malaysia too as it is a compulsory subject. All schools teach English too as a compulsory subject.

Language

The official language of Malaysian is Bahasa Malaysia but English is very widely spoken too. Besides that, majority languages are Chinese and Tamil. Most Malaysian knows more than one language. Everyone can speak several languages and many dialects too. Many children learn 3 languages started as early as in preschool.

Chocolate cause Acne???

Acne is very serious thing in my life because it makes my face look "ugly”. But sometimes, acne make people like mature and look sweet but depends on their face. For me, I don't like the acne and other fact said the factor of food is make the acne may grow up. My mom always angry with me because I like to eat chocolate and peanut and she always said that food make acne. This is mostly a myth. Acne is mostly caused by other things (though it's not understood exactly why we get acne in the first place). However what we eat makes its way into our blood and into our body and eventually to our skin. I notice personally that my acne is affected by what I eat, but the effect is not very large. Chocolate has no more effect in this regard than any other food, but know that it is high in sugar and unhealthy fats, which for me worsen my acne. Eat chocolate also will make our skin break out because the chocolate is well fatty foods in high calorie do cause the skin to break out. For women tend to get chocolate cravings near their periods, which does cause pimples and at that time feel very stress. The fact its not chocolate itself that causes pimples or acne, its the sugar in it. Sugar and bad eating habits cause acne, along with other things, but if we start eating healthier, it helps our skin as well as our weight. So, just keep the chocolate to a minimum if to be fine

Hi everyone. I know all of us had the stomachache especially when we eat the expiry food or drinks.
Sometimes we can handle the stomach ache by drink some tea without added the sugar.

So,here I give you some tips to treat and prevent stomachache.

1. Work Out Stress
Tension and stress can cause plenty of stomach pain. To help relieve stress, put some regular exercise into your weekly routine.

2. Warm Your Tummy
Turn a heating pad on low and place it on your abdomen until the pain subsides. Warmth on the abdomen offers some comfort. I always put the bottle of warm water on my stomach to reduce the pain.

3. Do not Overfill With Fiber
Believe it or not, your stomach problem can also be caused by eating too much fiber-related foods.

4. Loosen Up
If you have a bloated, sore belly, make yourself comfortable by wearing some loose clothing. Loosen your belt too if you need to wear it.

5. Mindful Eating
Try it yourself on a mindful meal. Paying attention to what will be satisfying and eat only when you are hungry.

6. Take Some Time Out
You can soothe your stomach just by resting. Put on your feet. Relax and close your eyes. Find a place in your memory that you have been to. For me, I never try this activity but I hope I will practice it when I want to relieved the pain.

7. Consume Chamomile Tea
This type of tea is an age-old and an effective remedy to ease a sore belly. Try to drink about two to three six-ounce cups a day, between meals. Chamomile decreases stomach activity and helps to coat the stomach as well. You can find this type of tea in most of the grocery stores. In my practicing, I just having a cup of plain tea ( without added sugar but only the hot water with a tea bag.)

I hope these tips will help you to cure the pain.

2)Both reactions release vast quantities of energy from relatively small amounts of matter.

4)The first nuclear weapon used was 'Little Boy', dropped on the Japanese city Hiroshima.

How to show someone you love them

I love you- three of most illogical, selfless and wonderful words in the English language. Ideally, this word should not be use as a saving grace, an apology and a last resort.
Actually, the words are being use more and more but the meaning are become less and less. Because of this action, we must know the action do speak louder than words. My point in this article is the best way to let someone know you love them. As we know, talk is cheap. Even I can tell to any person that I love him so much. However, I cannot surprise them with a bunch of their favourites flowers on their big day.

Basically, to let someone know that you are truly love him or her you need to make them feel loved. And if you are really love them, doing this should come naturally. Remembering their favourites things also should help you to show your love one.
Besides, spontaneous always works. It is the simple gestures that show you think about someone and care about them, and if these two things are not fundamental to loving someone, then what is?

Of course, in the right situation simply saying 'I love you' can be just as effective. But the way you treat someone shows a depth of feeling that you just can’t fake. If you love somebody, love them actively and openly and they will never doubt it

The hippo's yawn is not a sign of sleepiness or boredom but is actually a threat gesture, displaying long, thick, razor-sharp canine teeth, or tusks, with which it is capable of biting a small boat in half. Being fearlessly protective of their turf and young, hippos have killed more than 400 people in Africa - more than any other wild animal.

Hippopotamus amphibius means "river horse." The hippo, weighing 1 800 kg (4,000 pounds) and more, lives in Africa, south of the Sahara and along the length of the Nile river, although its range once included Asia and large parts of Europe. Hippos prefer rivers with deep water and nearby reed beds and grasslands, but are also found in salt-water areas near river mouths, and in lakes in Central Africa. They are hoofed vegetarians, feeding on grass, fallen fruit, and occasionally on cultivated crops such as sugar cane or corn during the night. They spend most of the day in the water.

Although not part of the Big Five, the hippo is the third biggest land animal, slightly smaller but heavier than a white rhino (the elephant is the biggest). In spite of its huge size - 3 metres (12 feet) in length, 1,5 metres (five feet) tall, with a mouth measuring a half metre (two feet) across - the hippopotamus can outrun a human. The bellowing of a bull hippo measures an ear-splitting 115 decibels, sounding like the roar of a lion.

Classifying the amount of rain
When classified according to the rate of precipitation, rain can be divided (although any such classification scheme is necessarily arbitrary) into:
- Very light rain — when the precipitation rate is < 0.25 mm/hour
- Light rain — when the precipitation rate is between 0.25 mm/hour - 1.0 mm/hour
- Moderate rain — when the precipitation rate is between 1.0 mm/hour - 4.0 mm/hour
- Heavy rain — when the precipitation rate is between 4.0 mm/hour - 16.0 mm/hour
- Very heavy rain — when the precipitation rate is between 16.0 mm/hour - 50 mm/hour
- Extreme rain — when the precipitation rate is > 50.0 mm/hour

HEALTH ISSUE AGAIN!

Do you want to fight cancer, reduce headaches, reduce fever, boost the immune system, strengthen the liver and improve the skin? Acerola cherry is the answer! Originated in Yucatan, the acerola cherry is now center stage among super fruits. Besides being eaten freshly, it is used to flavor drinks. Acerola cherry contains high levels of Vitamin A, folate, Vitamin C and potassium. Vitamin A improves our vision and removes free radicals from the body. Vitamin C repairs tissue, and helps prevent heart disease and cancer. The potassium found in acerola cherries regulates blood pressure and heart function and can even elevate our mood. Folate is essential for making new cells, protecting against heart disease and for protecting babies against mental retardation and debilitating diseases. Therefore, eating acerola cherries on a regular basis and in large amounts can help you to protect yourself against all these illnesses that acerola cherries fight against. Traditionally, it is believed that by eating this cherry can reduce the headache. This due to the anthocyanins found in acerola which contains ant-inflammatory properties that have effects much like aspirin, ibuprofen and other pain relievers. Some other health benefits of acerola cherries emerging from folk medicine are that acerola cherries: help in relieve sore throat, fever, constipation, scurvy, diarrhea and liver disorders.

Today's installment of the diet plan is a dose of tips I've learned that make it a bit easier to eat less without feeling hungry. So, without further delay, here are my collected tips.

1. Eat less. More often. Rather than eating large meals, chop up your eating into smaller portions throughout the day. I found myself eating 3 meals most days and having a snack around 3pm as well as another in the evening. That was enough to keep me from feeling hungry while still eating less in total.
2. Don't eat right before going to bed. I've read this numerous times and don't get why it works, but it does. I set a limit of 3 hours. So I planned to go to bed at midnight, I wouldn't eat past 9pm.
3. Brush your teeth early. For whatever reason, I won't eat when my teeth still feel clean. By brushing them several hours before bed, it was easier to accomplish it.
4. Kick the sugar habit. If you drink sugared soft drinks (I used to be a Mt. Dew and Coke fan), replace them either with their diet counterparts or water. This can make a very, very big difference.
5. Eat vegetables before the main course. Whenever possible, I'd make sure to have an ample serving of a vegetable (you get very few calories for the amount you eat) before eating the denser main course--often a meat or fish. You'll need less of the dense stuff to be happy.
6. Update your spreadsheet daily. Keeping a running count will help you ration out the rest of your daily calorie allowance, which we'll talk about tomorrow.
7. Get used to leftovers. When you eat out, expect to take some of your meal home. If you eat standard restaurant portions, you'll almost certainly overeat.
8. Shop with calories in mind. When you're at the grocery store, spends some extra time reading the labels and nutritional information. You'll probably end up changing your shopping habits along the way. You'd be surprised by the how widely the calorie counts in various granola bars varies, for example.
9. Slow down! When you eat fast, you end up ingesting more food before you body has a chance to figure out that it's satisfied (not full).
10. Drink more water during the day. This is fairly generic advice, but definitely seems to help.
11. Trick yourself with gum. Sometimes we eat out of habit or because it just feels good to get some flavor in your mouth and chew for a while. Find yourself some sugar-free chewing gum and use it when the urge strikes.
12. Reduce the amount of breads, chips, crackers, and salty snacks you eat. A lot of starchy and/or salty food make you want to eat and drink even more. This comes straight out of Atkins diet culture.

Here is my readings about ‘YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT’ from reader’s digest entitled strengthen your immune system... Here are some understandings about nutrients,

1) Antioxidants; substances that protect against free radicals, the molecules that attack cells and damage DNA.
2) Essential Fatty Acids; used to manufacture and repair cell membranes and to produce prostaglandins, which exert effects throughout the body. EFAs must be obtained from food sources; hence they are called ‘essential’.
3) Isoflavones; found chiefly in soy foods, these compounds can alter the action of true oestrogens in the body.
4) Phytochemicals; plant molecules that may prevent and/or suppress disease in the human body.
5) Phytonutrient; biologically active substances, such as ascorbic acid and beta – carotene, the plant forms of vitamins C and A, that are need to sustain life.

Thank you.

How Kilojoules and fat sneak up
you order your favourite meal at your local restaurant, but you dont really know what you are eating? Diners dramatically underestimate kilojoules and fat in many popular dishes. But when given neutritional statistics of menu items, most make healthier choices. if nutritional info doesn't availabe, ask your server for lighter choices.

I recently read about "EASY but USEFUL JAPANESE"

In this section, we will learn some Japanese word here, so maybe it is useful one day for us...

If you can continue to remember the words introduced here every month, Japanese will appreciate your efforts and will be much friendlier to you.. the word is

"to-ni-ka-ku"

This word can be use in many situations. It usually means "anyway" or "at any rate". If your friends hesitates to do something, you can say to him or her, "tonikaku yarinasa" (do it anyway)...
When u have an opportunity to eat Japanese dishes for the first time, your Japanese colleague or friends may encourage you to try, saying "tonikaku doozo" (please try it anyway)......
This expression is very useful when someone is at loss what to do...If you are asked to do something you are not good at, you can say, "tonikaku gambari masu" (anyway i will do my best)....
When you make a lunch appointment with someone and he or she does not appear even after the appointment time, you can say, "tonikaku machi mashou" (let's wait for him or her anyway)...
when a school boy wants to play outside, his mother says to him, "tonikaku mazu (first), shukudai (homework) yarimasai" (anyway finish your homework first)....
