Brain Tumor

Today I would like to share with all of you about what is brain tumor. A brain tumor is an abnormal growth of cells within the brain or inside the skull, which can be cancerous or non-cancerous which is known as benign. It is created by abnormal and uncontrolled division.
For true brain tumors, it is commonly located in the prosterior cranial fossa in children and in the anterior two-thirds of the cerebral hemispheres in adults. The treatment can be done in many meningiomas, with the exception of some tumors located at the skull base, can be successfully removed surgically. In more critical cases, stereotactic radiosurgery, such as gamma knife radiosurgery remains a viable option. Pituitary adenomas can also be removed surgically often using a minimal invasive approach through nasal cavity. Large pituitary adenomas require a craniotomy(opening of the skull)for removal. Radiotheraphy including stereotactic approaches, is reserved for an inoperable cases.

Do you know about soduku? Did you ever play it? Sudoku is a logic-based, combinatorial number-placement puzzle. The objective is to fill a 9×9 grid so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 boxes contains the digits from 1 to 9 only one time each. Here, I will share some strategies in how to play sudoku and complete the puzzle successfully.

The first strategy you should follow when you play Sudoku is to apply yourself at solving one grid at a time. Start with the first one or the one which is in the upper left corner and work through the rest of the grids clockwise. Take each number and check horizontally and across until you find the right square. Remember each number has only one correct placement. This is also known as "elimination strategy".

Another excellent strategy to play Sudoku is to start with the part of the grid which has two out of the three rows or columns already filled in. This would make it easier to find out which is the missing number as you go on filling in the gaps the rest of the puzzle would become easier for you to solve.

Lastly, you have a very powerful strategy for winning and that is called, "practice". The more you play Sudoku, the faster you would be able to notice the connections between the numbers and their correct placement. This is comparable to mind teasers which get better and easier to solve when you keep practicing them for better speed.

Well, playing with sudoku is very fun and challenging right? So, by using all the strategies above, I'm sure we can settle down the puzzle more easily.

BEAUTY versus CONFIDENT.

Between beauty and confidence, i would like to say confidence and beauty are related.

Sometime when people care about beauty, they also will become more confident. For having confident in meeting someone, he/she should dressing well to make each company feel comfortable.

If someone have a beauty face but less in confident, people would say that he/she is not good in their appearance.

More than that, each people has their own beauty. So, beauty is not a problem at all. But they just need confident to think that they are beauty enough.

In conclusion, confident is the important thing here. From confident, beauty will growing up. (\(^.^)/)

Air pollution

I had read an article about air pollution. Air pollution means that the presence in the outdoor atmosphere of one or more contaminants such as dust, fumes, gas , mist, odor, smoke or vapor in quantities and of characteristics and duration such as to be injurious to human, plant, or animal life or to property, or to interfere unreasonably with the comfortable enjoyment of life and property. Nowadays, with the increasing urbanization and industrialization, humans started to release more wastes into the atmosphere than nature could cope with. Since then, air pollution has been added to the air by industrial, commercial and domestic sources. As these sources are usually found in major cities, the gases that are produced are usually concentrated in the air around them. It is when these concentrated gases exceed safe limits that we have a pollution problem. Nature can no longer manage air pollution without our help.

When posting comments for this blog, I have found 1 article that really touch me...about HOW FRIENDSHIP CAN BE BROKEN?...
This are the some of the article that I have read...

Both friends will think the other is busy...
And will not contact thinking it may be disturbing
As time passes
Both will think let the other contact
After that each will think why I should contact first ?
Here your love will be converted to hate
Finally without contact the memory becomes weak
They forget each other.
So keep in touch with all.

After read this article...I keep thinking of the term :
Friends is easy to find when U happy, but when comes the trouble to U, where are they?...
So I hope that my friendship with others can be tight...ever...

Did you all like to shopping??. I would suggest that shopping at Kuala Lumpur because it is a shopping paradise with an eclectic spectrum of retail opportunities, from air-conditioned mega shopping malls right through to the frenetic street markets. Prices are excellent in both and haggling is the norm in the street markets and even in some of the shopping malls, where bulk discounts are also on offer. The city overflows with shopping malls, add a surreal element to the shopping experience. Many of the shopping malls are located at Jalan Bukit Bintang and are marketed under the umbrella term of Bintang Walk.

A novel experience for overseas visitors is the night street markets or ‘pasar malam’ which begins in the late afternoon. These open-air markets feature hawker stalls that sell a variety of local produce, foodstuff, clothing and cakes. Bargain and Haggle is a common practice. Street artists and traditional medicine vendors are an entertaining sight here.

The Mega Sale Shopping Carnival held three times a year in Kuala Lumpur and other major cities in Malaysia is an opportune time to pick up great bargains.

Always be careful of street crimes when you are in crowded areas.

This has worked for me many times in the past...when I remember it.

Usually an argument will begin when either person has expectations of the other person. Like...the wife has an expectation of the husband to take out the garbage...or the boss has an expectation of you to complete an assignment on time. Let's say in both cases, for WHATEVER reason...you didn't do it.

At this point..because of fear or whatever...we will sometimes blame the circumstances surrounding our inability to meet expectations, or even admit right-up front that we made a mistake.

If the other party can't accept that you made an HONEST mistake....and only YOU CAN DETERMINE the validity of your honesty...then...walk away..period.

But in the above example..let's say the wife or boss just doesn't want to acknowledge anything..nor do they want to hear excuses...and they get in your face and verbally let you know of their displeasure.

Two things are occuring at the same time here.

A.) They are showing their anger to you.

B.) No one likes to get yelled at.

Both of the above are not good for you...for our first instinct is to run or fight back..

If I was not honest in my disclosure that what I didn't do...I should have done...then I admit my part in the situation.

And I only admit MY PART..I keep my side of the street clean.

I try to think ahead and determine if I am going to remember this incident 2-3 years from now...is this really relevant to my life ??

Then I practice remembering that a "small spark will start a forest fire" and I practice like hell ...providing my boundaries are not crossed...to keep my mouth shut.

If all else fails.....then I say " you must be mistaking me for a person that wishes to indulge in this conversation" and walk away...life is too short.

Food Allergy Causes

I got this article also from the internet. This article is about the food allergy causes. I choose this topic because it is much related to some people. Firstly, the article talk about an allergic reaction occurs when the body's immune system overreacts to an allergen, in this case a food protein. The white blood cells produce an antibody to this allergen, we called immunoglobulin E or IgE. Then, when this antibody comes in contact with the particular food protein, it promotes production and release of certain chemicals called "mediators." Histamine is an example of a mediator. These mediators act on various parts of the body, mainly the skin, throat, airways, intestines, and heart. The effects of the mediators on organs and other cells cause the symptoms of the allergic reaction.
So, any food has the potential to trigger an allergic reaction, but a few foods account for most food allergies. In fact, about 90% of food allergies are triggered by one of these 8 foods: Eggs Milk Wheat Soy Peanuts Tree nuts Fish Shellfish Generally, people who have allergies react to only a few foods. Occasionally a person who is allergic to one food also may be allergic to other related foods. This is called cross-reaction. Then, the common examples such as allergy to peanuts - Cross-allergies to soybeans, green beans, and peas allergy to wheat - Cross-allergy to rye Allergy to cow's milk - Cross-allergy to goat's milk Allergy to pollen - Cross-allergies to foods such as hazelnuts, green apples, peaches, and almonds People who have a history of other allergies, such as eczema or asthma, are particularly prone to having a reaction to a food. They are also more likely to have a more severe reaction.

Diet pills?
Yes, I choose this topic to figure out about the effects and some information about diet pills.

Diet pills have a great potential to help you lose weight and this can be very appealing, especially if you are someone who has struggled to lose weight in the past and who is obese, with a BMI of over 27.
Prescription diet pills are very strong drugs. Some of the side effects from taking prescription diet pills can be dangerous.

The harmful effects are potential foe dependence and metabolism disruption.
I think for those who want to diet, it is more better if you go for exercises and eat nutrients food in right quantity.

STRESS!!!!!!!!!

how to manage stress?? Here are some tips to counter and reduce stress for a more well-balanced life.

-Eat Well
Our bodies use up enormous amounts of vitamins and minerals when we experience stress. This can leave us tired, run down, irritable and less able to deal with our responsibilities. Vitamins C and B complex, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and zinc are the hardest hit nutrients. These can be restored through a diet rich in fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products, nuts, yeast, brown rice, fish, liver, kelp and eggs. Food to avoid when stressed include tea, coffee, cakes, biscuits, soft drinks, chocolate and white bread.

-Exercise
Physical exercise releases endorphins into your body that will make you feel better about yourself and more in control of your situation.

-Relax
Relaxation techniques are useful to reduce stress. Make time to relax your muscles each day and you will be amazed at how quickly the physical tension is reduced. Relax by listening to music, meditating, playing with your pet, having a nap or reading a good book.

-Practise “Realistic thinking”
When we experience extreme feelings of stress, it is often because we are having extreme thoughts. Try to think realistically about what is making you feel this way. How likely is it to happen? Ask what is the worst possible outcome of this situation? Consider how this would affect the scheme of things. Look at the big picture.

-Organise your time
We can reduce the amount of stress by using our time and energy efficiently. A realistic list of things to do for the day is a good start. Setting priorities and learning to slow down are essential ingredients in reducing your level of stress.

-Talk to someone
We often cope better by sharing our feelings with other people. This may be as simple as talking to your partner or best friend, or seeking a qualified health professional or organisation to help you manage your stress levels.

A healthy Routine
Seeing the same doctor when you're sick is smart, say researchers at University of Washington. In a study of 42,700 people, those who regularly visited a particular health care center were 16 percent more likely to get flu shots and 19 percent more likely to have mammograms than those with no regular site of care. Patients may more willing to trust and listen to a familiar doctor's recommendations. And doctors who know their patients are likely more aware of what preventive measures are needed.

Toxic milk in China

I read a news about the toxic milk produced by China in this newspaper
Agence France-Presse - 9/23/2008
The Chinese company whose tainted baby milk triggered a food safety crisis that has seen 53,000 children fall ill failed to report complaints about the product for months.
Sanlu Group, the dairy firm first found to be selling melamine-contaminated goods, began receiving complaints of sick children as early as last December.
Communist officials in the north Chinese city of Shijiazhuang, where Sanlu is based, delayed referring the matter to higher authorities for more than a month after Sanlu finally told them of the problem on August 2.
"In the eight months from December 2007 to August 2, 2008, Sanlu made no report to relevant authorities in Shijiazhuang and took no corrective measures, allowing the situation to worsen further," the report on state-run CCTV's news channel said.
"(Sanlu and Shijiazhuang officials) violated rules on reporting major incidents involving food safety," it added, quoting the cabinet probe.
The report appeared to be the first official confirmation of Chinese media reports that news of the risks posed by the milk products was deliberately suppressed.
Reports of tainted milk only emerged in state-run media earlier this month.
The chemical melamine, normally used in making plastics, was apparently added to milk supplies to give the appearance of higher protein levels.
Although it knew kids were falling ill last December, Sanlu Group did not even begin testing its milk for dangerous substances until June, the cabinet probe reportedly found.
The government has blamed tainted products for four deaths, and said late Sunday that 12,892 children remained hospitalised with kidney problems, 104 of them in serious condition.
Meanwhile the repercussions outside mainland China continued to mount, with Hong Kong authorities reporting a second child ill with a kidney stone after drinking contaminated Chinese dairy products.
The Philippines and Vietnam on Tuesday became the latest countries to take precautionary steps.
Authorities in Manila ordered an immediate ban on the import and sale of Chinese dairy products.
Vietnam has ordered melamine tests on dairy products and tighter inspections on "all milk products and materials in the market, especially those imported from China."
Bangladesh, Brunei, Burundi, Gabon, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Taiwan and Tanzania have already either barred Chinese milk products or taken some other form of action to curb consumption.
The scandal claimed its biggest political scalp so far on Monday with the resignation of China's product-safety watchdog chief, Li Changjiang.
Also sacked was Wu Xianguo, the top Communist official in Shijiazhuang. The city's mayor and several other government officials had been fired earlier.
Eighteen people have been arrested so far, including the sacked head of Sanlu Group, and dozens detained for questioning, according to state media.
China has been hit by a wave of embarrassing scandals in recent years over dangerous products including food, drugs and toys, spoiling its manufacturing reputation. The China Daily quoted a food safety expert warning of further disasters.

I hope that such cases will not happened again.I hope that all those company will consider about the public health not how much money they can earn.

Assalamualaikum..

Galah panjang is also known as Malaysian traditional game. The game were played in a wide open space, like the playground or the in front of your house. Badminton courts would be the ideal place.

Number of players must be an even number of players, 4,6,8 so that two teams would have equal number of players.

The equipments are Badminton court. If no badminton court, you would have to use sticks/ slippers as a line or if you're playing on cemented ground, use chalk.
