Do you become nervous when you are placed in the spotlight? Do strangers make you shudder? Following are some tips to assist you in overcoming shyness. So, for this entry i would like to share the tips to overcoming shyness...Firstly, remember that shyness is an emotion, not a permanent personality trait! You have the power to change your feelings of shyness and act in a bolder manner. There's nothing wrong with being shy, but there's nothing wrong with being outgoing either! Keep working at it. It may take you time to feel more comfortable, don't get discouraged. As time passes, you'll notice that you've actually beaten a bit of that shyness. Think of it as a motivation to keep on! If you think everyone is looking at you, such as when crossing the road or walking through a public place, watch someone else do the same thing and really take note to see if other people are watching that person. You will be surprised to realize that we are not that noticed by others in the grand scheme of things! Don't be afraid to seek professional help; group counseling, individual counseling, and therapy can help you along the way. Sometimes it's more than just shyness, and it's important to realize that. Social Anxiety Disorder is often seen as "extreme shyness", so make sure that you know what you have. Smile often. People will think of you as more approachable, and you will do better socially. Smile when people talk to you so they know you're interested in conversation. Give yourself lots of time to talk. Speaking slowly gives you more time to think about what to say, as well as often adding weight to your words. Shyness is sometimes seen as classy. Many children grow out of their shyness. Perhaps your shyness comes from stage fright? If you're having difficulties speaking in front of an audience, it is a good idea to choose a person in the audience that you feel comfortable around, and keep your eyes on them the entire time, as though your speech was directed at them. Eventually, you will be able to let your eyes roam around the room, connecting with each member of the audience. If speaking to a crowd, simply choose one person in the audience and focus in on that one person. Overcome stage fright by imagining you are someone else, such as a favorite celebrity you admire.Picture yourself as that person until you feel comfortable on stage. Remember, if you find the courage to speak and not be afraid you will become more comfortable with that concept and eventually act that way almost all the time. Try it and don't be shy!!!

Hi, today I would like to talk about stress. Stress can be a contributing factor to heartburn. Stress can also lead you to indulge in the kind of behaviors that trigger heartburn. When life gets hectic, for instance, you’re more likely to eat fast food, drink caffeinated beverages, neglect your exercise routine, and smoke too much. All of these activities can trigger heartburn.

Keep your sanity in check and heartburn at bay with these stress-reducing tips:
* Exercise regularly: Regular exercise can significantly reduce stress while keeping you fit and healthy. Exercise gives you more energy and improves your ability to sleep — two important factors in controlling stress and reducing tension.
* Take a deep breath: Breathing isn’t just something that keeps us alive — it can also clear our heads and calm us down. Stress causes muscles to tense up and our breathing to become shallow. Taking a few slow, deep breaths is one of the best ways to reduce stress.
* Prioritize what you need to accomplish, and delegate the rest: Trying to do everything yourself only adds to your stress level. Keep a list of what you need to accomplish at home and work, in order of priority. Check off each item as you go, and look for ways to delegate chores and responsibilities to others. Learn to say "no" and be realistic about what you can accomplish during a day.
* Remember to laugh: A sense of humor helps keep things in perspective and is one of the fastest ways to deflate a stressful situation.

How Fraser's Hill got its name? It have a lot of history in Fraser's Hill while in Colonial Era. Fraser's Hill derives its name from Louis James Fraser, a British colonial adventurer and fortune hunter. Many colorful stories exist about his life, including rumors that he managed an opium and gambling den frequented by miners in the hills of Pahang. However, in the early 1900s, Fraser vanished without a trace. Fraser's disappearance remains a mystery to this day. In 1917, a couple of clergymen rediscovered Fraser's Hill, and gathered support from the colonial authorities to turn it into a hill station to get away from the unbearable heat of the lowlands. Fraser's Hill is a hill resort located on the Titiwangsa Ridge in the state of Pahang in Malaysia. Fraser's Hill is measured at 1,280 meters above sea level. Year round temperatures are between 14°C~20°C / 63°F~68°F. This resort is situated approximately 64.6 miles / 104 kilometers from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur.
Fraser's Hill is becoming a center for bird watching aficionados. The hill station has over 270 species of local and migratory birds flocking here together. The annual International Bird Race organized by the Fraser's Hill Development Corporation in collaboration with WWF-Malaysia and the Malaysian Nature Society oversees participants throughout the world converging to the hill station to determine which team can sight, identify and record the most number of species of birds as stated in the official checklist. The 2006 Fraser's Hill International Bird Race was held on 24-25 June 2006. Today it is became one of vacation destination.

Rain

Rain is liquid precipitation. On Earth, it is the condensation of atmospheric water vapor into drops heavy enough to fall, often making it to the surface. Rain is the primary source of fresh water for most areas of the world, provide suitable conditions for diverse ecosystems, as well as water for hydroelectric power plants and crop irrigation. However, not all rain reaches the surface; some evaporates while falling through dry air. This is called virga, a phenomenon often seen in hot, dry desert regions. Rain is also known or suspected on other worlds. On Titan, infrequent methane rain is thought to carve that moon's numerous surface channels. On Venus, sulfuric acid virga evaporates 25 km from the surface. There is likely to be rain of various compositions in the upper atmospheres of the gas giants, as well as precipitation of liquid neon and helium in the deep atmospheres.

What is Chemical Peel?

Chemical peel is a procedure which destroys parts of the skin in a controlled way so that new skin can grow in its place. The chemicals used are called exfoliating or wounding agents. The types of chemical peels differ based on how deeply the chemical penetrates and what type of chemical solution is used. Factors that may affect the depth of a peel include the acid concentration in the peeling agent, the number of coats that are applied, and the amount of time allowed before the acid is neutralized. Deeper peels result in more effects like higher risks, increased pain and longer healing time.

There are three basic types of peels:
• Superficial peels are the mildest type of chemical peel and can be used on all skin types. Superficial peels usually use liquid containing a mild acid, most often glycolic acid.
• Medium peels penetrate the skin more deeply than superficial peels and cause a second-degree burn of the skin. Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) is mainly used for this type of peelings, though the peel may also be done in several steps using a different chemical solution followed by TCA.
• Deep peels penetrate several layers of skin and cause a second-degree burn of the skin. They are used only on the face. A chemical called phenol is usually used for a deep peel. Deep peels may not be used on darker skin types because they tend to bleach the skin. Even in lighter-skinned people, phenol peels may bleach the skin. However, a deep peel can be done only once in most cases.

assalamualaikum and hai...for this entry, i would like to introduce about the cougar..

Weighing in between 150 and 230 pounds the cougar is larger than some "big cats," but is probably more closely related to smaller cats...

This buff-colored feline, also known as the puma, panther or mountain lion, is highly adaptable and at home in tropical rain forests, high mountains, conifer forests and deserts...

A variety of small mammals such as mice, rats and rabbits make up the cougar's menu, but sheep, moose and other livestock may also find themselves on the dinner table...

After gorging themselves on large prey, cougars bury the leftovers, returning later to finish them off...

There are 10 tips to lose weight for good. You should forget all the complicated eating plans or one-size-fits-all diets. You can just simply lose weight by having healthy meal every day. Firstly, you should know how many calories you need to eat each day. Second, eat 5 or 6 small meals throughout the day. Take caution that is small meal not big meal. Besides that, you should not let yourself too hungry because a drop in blood sugar and can lead to bingeing. Thirdly, you should consume 5 or 6 servings of fruits and vegetables every day. There is no replacement for these nutritional powerhouses, filled with fibre, vitamins and antioxidants. Fourth way is become a label-reader. You must eliminate trans fats and saturated fats. On top of that, you should have a balance meal every day. Fifth, choose the healthy carbohydrate. You can choose to switch to whole grains—wheat bread, brown rice, fruits and vegetables, for example. Sixth, you should practice portion control. A serving of protein should be about the size of your palm, and a serving of carbohydrate is no larger than a fist. Seventh, you should eliminate sugary drinks and fruit juices. You can choose to switch to diet sodas and water. Besides that, you should aim for 8 glasses of water a day. Next, you should eat fish three times a week. This is because deep-water fish that contains omega-3 will protect your heart from disease. Ninth, you should carry healthy snacks with you and keep away from all those snacks which will cause many diseases to your health. Lastly, you should allow yourself a treat. It’s natural to splurge now and then, just don’t use it as an excuse to binge. So, I hope everyone can have a healthy life.

The first step to getting the things you want out of life is this: Decide what you want.

When we are doing something, we need patient about it so that we can feel the success afterward. We cannot too rush when doing our work. Because it will spoilt our effort if we are too rush until we cannot differentiate between the right and wrong. Just like the message, we won't get the chicken if we smash it because the egg is already broken. If we want to get the chicken, we need to hatch the egg. This teaches us that when we doing our work, we need to do it in step by step so that we won't miss the important part. So, I will try to do my work step by step.

Today I want to share about cooperation which is the process of working or acting together, which can be accomplished by both intentional and non-intentional agents. In its simplest form it involves things working in harmony, side by side, while in its more complicated forms, it can involve something as complex as the inner workings of a human being or even the social patterns of a nation. It is the alternative to working separately in competition. The components in a cell work together to keep it living. Cells work together and communicate to produce multicellular organisms. Even if all members of a group would benefit if all cooperate, individual self-interest may not favor cooperation. There are four main conditions that tend to be necessary for cooperative behaviour to develop between two individuals like an overlap in desires, a chance of future encounters with the same individual, memory of past encounters with that individual, and a value associated with future outcomes.

This entry I will share a story about Dads Blessing.A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.

As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation, his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautifully wrapped gift box. Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young man's name embossed in gold. Angry, he raised his voice to his father and said "With all your money, you give me a Bible?" and stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.

When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search through his father's important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. And as he did, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words PAID IN FULL.

How many times do we miss Spirit's blessings and answers to our prayers because they do not arrive exactly as we have expected?

Haloo
Actually I don't know what I'm suppose to write in this entry. It been more then two month and i had post 26 comment. So, I had nothing in my mind now.
May be this is because of my compact schedule recently. I need to do so many thing. Lecture make replacement class and laboratory. So, i need to forget my sweet rest time and forced to go for a night class. (because I don't have any other choice)
The final is coming and many of lecturer turn their speed and sometimes, I couldn't catch it up. I need to do revision because what I had during lecture session wasn't enough.
I feel so tired. But to think it twice, everyone out there feel the same way. To think that way, I know I'm not the only in this dilemma, and some kind, it make me feel better.
So, this is my post for this entry. The life of University Malaysia Pahang student.

Today I want to share about what I read on NST. I had read about a 30-year-old company manager, Noraini Mohd Ghazali, died on Tuesday at the beauty salon. She is believed to have suffered an allergic reaction to an anaesthetic shot. Officers from the ministry's pharmacy enforcement division raided the outlet at 4pm and took away 15 bottles of liquid substance which had not been registered with the ministry. Noraini had liposuction several months ago and returned to the clinic on Tuesday after complaining of pain in the buttocks. She was accompanied by her sister, Misha Abu Bakar. Three hours later, Misha, who was in the reception area on the ground floor, was told by the surgeon that Noraini was dead. The doctor claimed that Norani had vomited three times before swallowing her own vomit on the fourth time. It all happened when she had been injected by anaesthetic. Police Department has classified this case as sudden death and waiting for test result from the Chemistry Department.

Love is in the air, as we always say when someone is falling in love. People may differ in age, race, and religion and even on physique but you can easily distinguish signs of someone falling in love. These signs can be both physical and emotional signs. And when someone is obviously finding love in his heart, signs are becoming obvious.Physically, most people blooms when they are falling in love particularly women. You can see their eyes twinkling with so much happiness. It is a kind of happiness that displays lots of emotions. They are also very conscious of their appearance like being very choosy as to the type of clothes to wear, perfume to use, make-up style to wear as well as hair style to have. Others particularly guys, are obvious to have great appetite for food but find it hard to sleep.

What do you know about fat man???
Do you think that it is an human???
Here I tell you about it...

Fat Man is the codename for the atomic bomb that was detonated over Nagasaki, Japan, by the United States on August 9, 1945, at 11:02 a.m. (JSP). It was the second of the only two nuclear weapons to be used in warfare and was the third man-made nuclear explosion. The name also refers more generically to the early nuclear weapon designs of U.S. weapons based on the "Fat Man" model. It was an implosion-type weapon with a plutonium core.
Fat Man was possibly named after Winston Churchill, though Robert Serber said in his memoirs that as the "Fat Man" bomb was round and fat, he named it after Sydney Greenstreet's character of "Kasper Gutman" in The Maltese Falcon. The design of "Fat Man" nuclear assembly was substantially the same as "the gadget" detonated at the Trinity test in July 1945.
"Fat Man" was detonated at an altitude of about 1,800 feet (550 m) over the city, and was dropped from a B-29 bomber Bockscar, piloted by Major Charles Sweeney of the 393d Bombardment Squadron, Heavy. The bomb had a yield of about 21 kilotons of TNT, or 8.78×1013 joules = 88 TJ (terajoules). Because of Nagasaki's hilly terrain, the damage was somewhat less extensive than that in relatively flat Hiroshima. An estimated 39,000 people were killed outright by the bombing at Nagasaki; A further 25,000 were injured. Thousands more would die later from related blast and burn injuries, and hundreds more from radiation illnesses from exposure to the bomb's initial radiations. The aerial bombing raid on Nagasaki had the third highest fatality rate in World War II after the nuclear strike on Hiroshima and the March 9/10 1945 fire bombing raid on Tokyo

What to do? Try reading something incredibly boring.Thirdly,Develop a bedtime routine.Fourthly, before bedtime, avoid tobacco and caffeinated beverages (not just coffee, but other drinks like tea, cola and also make you cannot sleep).Otherwise, try to get up at the same time every day rather than sleeping in on weekends. And the laslty, try exercise every day, but not shortly before bedtime since exercise gets the adrenaline going.ok...hope you will follow it.

Now, I would like to choose benefit of eat sweet potato. This nutrient-dense food contains many anti-cancer properties. It's loaded with beta-carotene, which may protect DNA in the cell nucleus from cancer-causing chemicals outside the nuclear membrane.
Diet tips: Go for freshness when picking potatoes-canned arieties contain less beta-carotene and vitamin C and B. Naturally sweet and creamy, mashed sweet potatoes can be enhanced with little apple juice. Or whip the cooked tubers with orange zest or orange juice and season with cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.

Why doesn’t glue get stuck in the bottle? There are two basic reasons:
- In order for glue to set and solidify, it must dry out. Latex and water-based glues harden by losing water, either by absorption into a porous substrate (the surface to be bonded) or by evaporation into the air. The glue bottle, at least if it is capped tightly, seals in moisture.
- Different glues are formulated to adhere to particular substrates. If the glue does not have a chemical adhesion to the substrate, it will not stick. For example, John Anderson, Technical Manager for glue maker Elmer’s Laboratory, told us that the Elmer’s bottle, made of polyethylene, does not provide a good chemical adhesion for the glue.
Even when the cap is left off, and the glue does lose water, the adhesion is still spotty. We can see this effect with the cap of many glue bottles. In most cases, dried glue can and does cake onto the tip after repeated uses. Likewise, if you poured glue on a drinking glass, it might adhere a little, but you could easily wipe it off with a cloth or paper towel because the glue cannot easily penetrate the ‘gluee’.

Understanding the Importance Of Sleep
For all our civilization and sophistication, human beings are still animals, and our brains and bodies are governed by primal biological functions and needs.
Sleep plays a huge part in the way our bodies function, so big in fact, that if we (or any animal) is totally deprived of sleep for an extended period of time, we will actually die.
Deep, restful sleep allows our bodies to rejuvenate, restore and regenerate themselves. Every part of the body is affected - the brain, the nervous system, immune system, hormones, emotions, heart, lungs....... the list goes on and on.
If we want to :
• live longer

• keep our body strong and healthy

• help our brain stay sharp and focused

• improve our memory

• to keep our emotions positive, healthy and balanced
.... then we need to recognize the importance of sleep.
Instead of seeing our need for rest as a weakness, we need to learn to welcome it as our ally, as a friend who wants to help us learn to live our best life, because -
Better Sleep truly does lead to a better life, in every possible way!

I liked the movie Knowing. It has a deep meaning to the end of the world, according to their belief. But the illogical thing was the alien part. I really despise that they added that scene to this movie. The movie was quite smooth until that scene appeared. Nicholas Cage is one of the good actors that I think deserved the Oscar awards.
