A miser sold all that he had and bought a lump of gold, which he buried in a hole in the ground by the side of an old wall and went to look at daily. One of his workmen observed his frequent visits to the spot and decided to watch his movements. He soon discovered the secret of the hidden treasure, and digging down, came to the lump of gold, and stole it. The Miser, on his next visit, found the hole empty and began to tear his hair and to make loud lamentations. A neighbor, seeing him overcome with grief and learning the cause, said, "Pray do not grieve so; but go and take a stone, and place it in the hole, and fancy that the gold is still lying there. It will do you quite the same service; for when the gold was there, you had it not, as you did not make the slightest use of it."

gentlemen, good night..
ladies, good morning..

again, another entry..
let us see, what am i going to write about this time.. what if i write something about reading..

well, to be honest, when i was younger, when i was still handsome and 'jambu', i don't really favor reading much. in fact, if i am not being admitted to school or my father would whack me like crazy if i don't go to school, i think i will never read anything in my life. i hate reading when i was younger. especially english. but somehow, i managed to score some marks in english classes. i guess maybe because english language is a foreign language to me at that time, and i like foreign languages, so much. because when it comes to learning foreign languages, everybody seems the same, everybody looks stupid, and everybody is stupid, including me.

back to the reading..
i did hate reading, but not now. it seems to me that reading is more addictive now. i don't really know why. i just feel that when i read, i got more stuffs. i can load much more information inside my little brain, even though i might not remember all the information. i think i know why some people hate reading. this is maybe because they feel bored when they read. they feel that they have to read because they want to level themselves with other people that reads and looks so complicated but yet so classy and intelligent. come on people, that's not the purpose why we read. the purpose of why we read is because we want to, and because we enjoy ourselves while we read. it's some sort of entertainment anyhow. and we got our knowledge and minds widen when we read.

so people, if you really want to read, first thing first, start with a thin book. set your mind and your intention. you intend to read because you want to. don't worry about other people. worry about yourselves. when you died, buried six feet under, can you still read? maybe you can, in your dream! if only you can still dream.. and if you encountered some words that you don't really understand, just go on continue reading. don't hesitate yourself to find the meaning of the words. the goal is to finish the book that you are reading. and then, after you finished, if you can still remember some words that you don't know just now, only this time you would want to flip through your 160 years old dusty and creepy dictionary to find the meaning of the words. after you finished, then start planning for your next book!

happy reading! and thank you very much..

Problem??? we as a human cannot run from facing a problem. i still remember when i was at the secondary school, one of my friend always ask me, why we as a human must facing many problem in this world. Not only self problem but people around us.Sometimes we think it is so hard until we feel so sad n we want to cry.It is so hard and sometimes we think it is not suitable with ourselves. But we must remember that Allah always give test to their selves suitable with their selves.

We must always think positive, that with all of this problem will built us to become a though and positive people. It also make us to become mature. As usual experience is the best teacher in this world.Do you agree with that?. I`m always agree because from the problem we always think the way to solve it. There is many way to solve it and from of that we become more mature to handle the problem.

Not all the problem we can solve it by ourselves. At this time we need family, friend and all the people aeound us to support us, and at this time we know who are our true friend and people that always with us in easy and difficulty. We know who is only want to be our friend because of the wealthy, or because of our popularity. It not easy to find someone who are really loyal with ourselves, and after we find it we must appreciate it with all our heart.Usually, people always appreciate someone when we had lost it and at that time we really regret of it. So, appreciate people around you before it too late.

Good day to all,
This time I would like to scribble a few lines on love marriage versus arranged marriage.Well we are in the month of February which is the month meant for love.People are still confused which marriage is a better option. Both types of wedding have their pros and cons.In my view of point, nothing comes perfect so adaptive mind is essential for a marriage. Both marriages are based on continuos love, responsibility, understanding and concern. This shows that it’s not just about initial love and attraction it needs a lot
dedication and effort to sustain a marriage. So whether it is love or arranged ultimately it is up to the individual to decide, which one to go for.People have to understand that there is nothing like an ideal marriage and it is all about the way you perceive your marriage. I personally think, after all you should be
happy with your life partner irrespective of love or arranged marriage.I sincerely hope my opinions will be taken into account.Dear friends, opinions are to be analysed to make a wiser choice.
Regards.

Assalamualaikum and very good morning..This is my 3rd story in January..I have about the most famous potrait in the,Mona Lisa.Lisa Gherardini, the wife of Florentine merchant Francesco del Giocondo, is the most famous woman in the world.

She also known as "Mona Lisa", her portrait has been displayed at the Louvre in Paris, France, since 1798.

Painted in the early 16th century by painter Leonardo de Vinci (1452-1519), she is also known as La Gioconda in Italian and La Joconde in French. Monna is short for Madonna, or Madame, in Italian. Every year, close to six million people visit the Louvre to view the painting.

Leonardo da Vinci began painting the Mona Lisa in 1503 during the Italian Renaissance and only finished it shortly before he died in 1519.

Mona Lisa has no visible facial hair, eyebrows or eyelashes.

Some researchers claim that it was common at that time for genteel women to pluck them, since they were considered to be

This was due to the result of a variety of conservation treatments the painting had undergone. Before the 1962-1963 tour to Washington and New York, the painting was assessed for insurance purposes at RM360 million (US$100 million). According to the Guinness Book of Records, Mona Lisa is the most valuable painting ever insured.

Hello everyone,
In this column,i want to share all of you about an interesting sport which is a woodball game.Have you heard the game before this?Let me tell you as far as i can explain.I try my best to make you know what the game. There is a woodball course which was completed in 2001 at Taman Bandar , in Indera Mahkota, Kuantan. This course has been designated as a center for training and also for holding competitions at national and international levels..Woodball is an excellent lawn game. You can play woodball in the backyard and practice your golf swing.

Why i said like that because woodball is similar to golf with all the excitement and thrill, although this game is far less complicated to learn. It is said that the woodball game is actually a cross between golf and the game of croquette. It is a lawn game but can still be played indoors or on any open spaces.

Woodball also is a good and fun game too for picnics, either with family or with friends or relatives. And in Pahang, many companies include woodball as part of the fun activities during company outings.

In conclusion, woodball is good, healthful exercise and recreation for the mind as well.

That's all.

Assalamualaikum and very good morning for all of you.I hope all of you are in the best of health.

For this session,I want to share with you about an astronauts.Until 2003, astronauts were sponsored and trained exclusively by governments, either by the military, or by civilian space agencies. However, with the first sub-orbital flight of the privately-funded SpaceShipOne in 2004, a new category of astronaut was created which is the commercial astronaut. With the rise of space tourism, NASA and the Russian Federal Space Agency agreed to use the term "spaceflight participant" to distinguish those space travelers from astronauts on missions coordinated by those two agencies.
I think, that`s all for this session.Thank you for reading.

Assalamualaikum and very good morning to all. This time i would like to scrible a few line of news that i have read.It is about animal eggs not a good source for embryonic stem cells.
A study published Monday has found that eggs from cows, rabbits and other animals are not a good source for creating embryonic stem cells, the master material that could one day repair tissue damage, replace organs, and reverse degenerative diseases.
But, in the same study, US researchers made a significant advance in the cloning of human embryos, which could be a path to producing a host of patient-specific treatments.it is not a good source because working with human embryos is also impractical because the high failure rate means it takes hundreds of eggs to create a single stem.

"WAYS TO QUIT"

p/s: This article is very suitable for smokers and especially for heavy smokers! =)

For smokers who are attempting to quit the habit, there are many options they can choose from.

Kicking the habit: do it yourself!

Don’t kid yourself by trying to cut down; nearly everyone who tries slides back up to their usual dose of nicotine. Cold turkey is the way to go but it takes preparation. And even without professional help, cooperation from family and friends can be important. Here are some tips:
•Make a list of reasons to quit and another list of people who have kicked the habit. The first list will remind you why quitting is important, and the second will show you that folks who are no stronger or smarter than you have succeeded. Keep your lists handy and refer to them whenever you begin to waver.

•Pick a quitting date and stick to it. Plan to quit on a special day, such as a birthday or the American Cancer Society’s Great American Smokeout event on the third Thursday of each November. Steer clear of stressful periods, and avoid holidays if you’re likely to be invited to smoke-filled parties.

•Try to get other smokers in your household or circle of friends to join you in quitting. A 2008 study found that smoking behaviour spreads through both close and distant social ties; your resolve and success can help your friends and, ultimately, your community.

•As your quit date approaches, throw out your ashtrays, clean your house, car, and clothes, and clean your teeth. Once you’re away from it, you’ll see that smoking stinks.

•Anticipate withdrawal symptoms such as grumpiness, restlessness, irritability, hunger, headache, anxiety, and drowsiness or insomnia. The discomfort usually peaks one to three weeks after you quit, and then it gradually diminishes.
To get through the rough patches, stock up on low-calorie snacks and sugarless gum or candy to keep your mouth busy. Plan enjoyable diversions to keep your mind busy. Think of ways to keep your hands busy.

•If you feel tense, try meditation, deep breathing, or yoga.

•Begin an exercise programme. It will relieve tension, promote good sleep, and help control weight gain. Walking for 30 minutes a day can really help.

•Eat a healthy diet.

•Stay away from secondhand smoke. Don’t even think about smoking “just one” – even a single puff will set you back.

•Reward yourself. Put your tobacco money aside in a kitty, and then spend it on a special treat.

•Think positively; you can quit. Take it one day at a time. And if you slip, try, try again, either on your own or with one or more of the other strategies for quitting.
Smoking contributes to many other health problems, ranging from cataracts, sinusitis, and dental disorders to ageing skin, heartburn, diabetes, osteoporosis, and two issues of special concern to men, bladder cancer and erectile dysfunction.

The benefits of quitting:

Quitting helps, even if you’ve smoked for years. Within days, your blood vessels will regain much of the normal function that is damaged by smoking.
Within weeks, you’ll be able to taste food better, and your sense of smell will recover from tobacco’s assault.
Within months, symptoms of chronic bronchitis ease up, and lung function improves within a year.
Quitting reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke within two to five years. And the risk of lung cancer begins to drop substantially within five to nine years of quitting.
People who kick the habit, regardless of age, live longer than those who continue to smoke.
Nicotine is addicting, and quitting is hard work. There is no way to succeed without really trying. But if you set your mind to it, you can quit.
There are four basic strategies for quitting. Look them over and decide which is best for you. Most smokers start by trying to quit on their own, but many end up needing several methods and several attempts before they kick the habit.
And even after you quit, it’s important to keep your guard up. Just as an alcoholic can fall off the wagon after a single drink, just one cigarette can fire up your nicotine craving even after years of abstinence.

So, goodluck guys! =)

TODAY,i want to share some information about apple. We have been heard about an Apple a day could keep doctors away from you.Is it?An apple a day not only keeps the doctor away, it is also good for your lungs, shows a recent study.Researchers assessed lung function by testing the ability to exhale sharply.
Overall good lung function was associated with high intake of citrus fruits, apples and juices. According to medical experts, apples help eliminate excessive mucus which could be within the lungs. If someone is having cough or pneumonia, but most especially dry cough, eating apple makes it productive and helps excrete the mucus, which is trapped inside to come out.According to research, eating a lot of apples might simply reflect a healthy diet. The natural medicine specialist also says that apples contain high levels of the antioxidant which is also found in onions, and may be important in protecting the lungs from the effects of pollutants such as cigarette smoke.Apples help in stamina, given their sweetness and the sugar content. It helps supply necessary glucose for proper functioning of the lung. Doctors also say that apples can be taken comfortably by asthma patients as both medicine and food.
Currently, studies are on going to assesses the effectiveness of treating lung allergies and diseases using apples. Lungs, like any other organs of the body, need a cleanser, apples therefore help clean up the system The good news is that apples are not only available, but they are also affordable. In my view therefore, any money spent on Apples is money well spent. So,in simple word let's eat apple =P

Well, this is my third reading entry...hope you all enjoy it!!

I want to share my thoughts about Chinese New Year.as we all know, the chinese community just celebrated their chinese new year few days ago.and i'm very interested to know that Chinese New year is also called as Spring Festivalis the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. It is often called the Lunar New Year, especially by people in mainland China and Taiwan.

The festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first month in the Chinese calendar and ends on the 15th; this day is called Lantern Festival. Chinese New Year's Eve is known as Chuxi. It literally means "Year-pass Eve".

Celebrated in areas with large populations of ethnic Chinese, Chinese New Year is considered a major holiday for the Chinese and has had influence on the new year celebrations of its geographic neighbours, as well as cultures with whom the Chinese have had extensive interaction. These include Koreans, Mongolians, Nepalese, Bhutanese, Vietnamese, and formerly the Japanese before 1873.

In Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and other countries or regions with significant Han Chinese populations, Chinese New Year is also celebrated, and has, to varying degrees, become part of the traditional culture of these countries. In Canada, although Chinese New Year is not an official holiday, many ethnic Chinese hold large celebrations and Canada Post issues New Year's themed stamps in domestic and international rates.

Although the Chinese calendar traditionally does not use continuously numbered years, its years are often numbered from the reign of Huangdi outside China. But at least three different years numbered 1 are now used by various scholars, making the year 2009 "Chinese Year" 4707, 4706, or 4646.

Interesting right??
That's all.Thank you.

Assalamualaikum and hello to everyone.I like orchids and cactus very much.it is very unique and beautiful plants. Both of them are very sensitive plants. Here,i want to share some tips to keep orchids always alive.
Here the tips :

Step 1 : Natural Habitat
- before you buy an orchid, make sure you can create the conditions the plant requires in its natural environment because there are all sorts of varieties, some are harder than others to care for, sO lOOk at the label to check it.

Step 2 : Water it Carefully
- it enough to watering the orcihd about every 4 to 7 days but it's depend on the season..if you want to check whether it need water, you should push a wooden stick or pencil into the medium, if it comes out darker thus the orchid does not nee watering. For our information, orchids can require different amounts of water at different times of hte year, thus we have to keep checking..

Step 3 : How to Feed
orchids tend to benefit from a spealist orchid fertilizer that is fed a weak solution and applied once a week. Thus, we have to ue only half amount mentioned on the packet. In addition, the type of fertilizer will depend on what our orchid is growing in..sO better check it first!

Step 4 : How to Repot
- Whther we like it or not, sooner or later, the orchid nee to be repotting. Thus, here the step to do it..First you have to take the old mixout of the pot careful from being damage the roots..Then wash the roots and trim off any hollow or mushy ones,as they are considred dead..Place the plant carefully into a new pot, orchids appear to like being root-bound, sO there should only be about 1" between the roots and the edge of the pot..Then..add the mix to the pot and tap the sides to make sure it settles properly..press gently to settle the plant to secure it.. In addition, if ypur plant is growing in sphagnum mOss, make sure it is damp before wrapping it rOund the roots and repotting sO that you don't have to worried about pOckets of air..Lastly, after repotting the plant, you should wateirng the plant for 3-5 days to allow it to recover.

Step 5 : When it Has Flowered
- First, you need to find out whther your orchid flowers only once from the flower spike or whther it will flower repeatedly from the same spike..When it has finished flowering, the spike needs to be removed at the base with a sharp instrument from being damage to itself..If you not sure, don't cut it off..

Step 6 : Orchid Care
- the important part of orchid care is looking out for various fungi or parasites..if there a problem to the plant you need to check it out..find the remedy and you must start treatinf it as soon as possible to avoid the plant dead..

I think that all that I can share with for now..I will be back sOOn..hehehe..Thanks for give some attention to mY cOmment..Hope that you can enjOy..

Thank You
